I am not a fan of Tinubu but what I can see on the part of Pa Adebanjo & co is that they are being jealous of Tinubu for his political trumphs since he dumped them. Before, the song on their lips is 'Buhari has used and dump Tinubu' now it is 'Buhari is deceiving Tinubu' when Tinubu is now a darling of Aso rock, instead for them to "gba fun oga won"

The pace at which work is moving now is not encouraging especially at the Lagos end and if care is not taken the project might not be completed by December, right now work has not started on any of the bridges at the level crossings in the Lagos end, because of the inconvenience that will be suffered if the track is laid without the crossing bridges the track has to be stopped metres short of the Toyin level crossing on the outskirt of Lagos

millhouse:
govt is all about continuity, irrespective of your political acclimation. Imo state wasn’t created yesterday , thus u don’t expect him to start building bricks without straws. even when Jonathan handed over to Buhari ,despite a documented handover , it took him 5months to set sail because of the loopholes created by the previous govt , not to talk of a previous governor that didn’t prepare any hand over documents and just walked out of govt house , the governor doesnt know how much is in the state purse , who is withdrawing monies codedly without govt approval , who the state is owing , who has been issued payments ,what projects have been awarded but not financed or vis-versa , I mean comon, it’s like appointing you the MD of a bank and upon resumption , nobody can give you the financial position of the bank ( it’s netbook assets and liabilities ,cash @ hand , who the bank is owing , what investments are in ground , what projects are in pipeline etc) I mean explain to us how you are going to hit the ground running ?
I think we have permanent secretaries and it is their duty to brief the new governor on situation of things, when we say government is a continuum it is the civil service that make it happen. The accountant general and other perm secs are in the civil service and governor can get briefs on affairs of the ministries

OfoIgbo:
I am not fooled by this judgement. This is just a ploy by the acting CJN to make himself appear fair, so that he will remain as the CJN and possibly be allowed to sit in judgement on the case that Atiku will eventually bring to the supreme court. This is where he will do his hatchet job of awarding Buhari the legal victory, that will authenticate his presidency.

I hope PDP strategists are deft enough to follow my logic on this. This is just a game plan. Award PDP a state, and give APC the country, while at the same time, making the acting CJN seem straight-forward. Don't fall for this oldest trick in the book
for ever a wailer, so you already know Atiku will lose at the tribunal, my friend no kee yerself o, Atiku no get good case, by the time the proceedings hot up at the tribunal his case will collapse like a pack of cards

Family › Re: Husband Chats With Many Ladies On Facebook And Whatsapp by gabbasin(m): 9:52pm On May 19, 2019
Roshina22:
My husband is Nigerian and I’m not he recently came to my country we are married and now I’m pregnant. I know quite a bit about culture in Nigeria as I’ve known many people there before, but something is new to me.

I may have a hard time trusting because of misunderstanding of culture but I get a feeling it may not just be that. He talks to so many women on WhatsApp and Facebook every day and likes there pictures. He even sometimes sends long emotional emails to his ex about moving on and when she cries he sends her emails about it being ok.

I told him to stop talking to her because he’s with me and our unborn child and not to have it affect our family...

But the thing is he chats with so many women on Facebook and what’s app and I’m so worried. Even when he does he hides his phone and deleted chats because he says “when you see the woman calling me saying hi dear it just means they say that to everyone”.
I know everyone in Nigeria can start off there sentence with hi dear, it could mean nothing but why does he need to talk to so many women online everyday? He said it’s rude to ignore people and if one bad word is said about him it could spread to anyone so he tries not to ignore to be nice. I saw him chatting ardently with a young girl from his village and he was asking her a lot of questions... I just didn’t understand why he had to be doing that and his response was “what if I want to be a politician one day”. It just makes me never want him to go back to Nigeria because I’m so aftraid one of these ladies he’s gonna meet up with and they will do something one day

I’m really afraid of being cheated on. I don’t chat with many men or entertain them. I don’t like their pictures and don’t feel the need to chat with so many men every day. If I ignore them it’s becquse they should know I love my husband.

My main question is is it normal for Nigerian men to chat with many many women online and on WhatsApp and Facebook like their pictures and chat away Like this? Sometimes late at night too... am I being lied to or at risk of being cheated on? Because it really feels like it. I’m already pregnant and dedicated so much time. Please this really bothers me what can I do? He won’t give up talking to them.

The thing is I don’t think his brothers are like this so why is he like that? I just don’t understand.
your write up looks Nigerian, I doubt your claim of not being a Nigerian
Crime › Re: We’re Still Searching For Ajegunle Killer Cop, Dania Ojo – Police by gabbasin(m): 8:14am On May 19, 2019
With the way our police work I doubt if they really know that there are laws guiding their operations. Why parade those cops who were in the company of the suspected killer policeman when investigation has not been carried out. Just to make us believe they are on top a crime, innocent citizens are arrested and paraded before the press without diligent investigation and on taking them to court no single evidence to link some of them to the crime they had earlier been paraded for. The only thing Police want to show us is that they are working by parading suspects but their efforts can't be said to be successful until the accused are convicted in a law court. And it is unlawful to parade suspects like they are are actually guilty of the crime. Police job is to investigate crime, gather evidence, arrest suspects and prosecute suspects in the law court, if these are successfully done then conviction of the suspects are secured and then the crime is successfully solved.

Guys am thinking of something today, what if we the youth of Nigeria have a massive peaceful protest on October 1, we can use the time between now and October 1 to create awareness. We need to speakout massively, let this spoilers know that we have a voice. If we can unite we will be free, I believe if we put behind our differences and ethical/religious bigotry that decides us and we unite with one voice to protest against the insanity in our country that could be a starting step to the walk of making Nigeria great.
I so much love this country and Her present condition breaks my heart. cry cry
we will never unite to do this, ethnicity and religion is our bane, issues are viewed based on these 2 prisms
