Looking at this brother's face, I am not in the least surprised at all. He looked so sure and confident about what he had deposited in that womb. Congrats guys...perseverance and patience win it yet again. Enjoy my siggy |
This further gives credence to my submission below on an earlier related thread here https://www.nairaland.com/4717917/african-workers-beaten-mercilessly-chinese#70949698: Hmmm...I am sincerely worried about these Chinese and their current position in Africa, I must confess. Having had personal contacts with most of them I can attest to their disdain for the "Negroid' race. What went down with the " original" oyibos kinda slavery will be an apprenticeship if the Chincos should have their way. I hope all these signings and counter signings won't end up seeing us signing and selling ourselves back into a new form of slavery. The assaulted seems like a young kid to me though. Make I just mistakenly witness something like this for Nigeria....in fact I go remodel the Chinese face to Japanese own like the picture below. I've shared a room with these pale looking lilliputians and I very well know what they think of us. Why only deporting him? Somebody wey dem suppose lock up flog with better koboko wey dem don soak for pepper and shit water for seven days...idiot Enjoy my siggy

In a landmark decision for LGBTQ rights and the community in India, the country's highest court has decriminalised gay sex. Five Supreme Court judges struck down the colonial-era Section 377 on Thursday, a ban on gay sex that was rarely applied to consenting adults, but used to stigmatise the LGBTQ community. SEE ALSO: Same-sex couple paints their house rainbow to troll their homophobic neighbors "We have to bid adieu to prejudices and to empower all citizens," Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra said while reading the judgment, according to NDTV. The decision ends a long battle to decriminalise gay sex in India, which began when the British enacted the law in 1861. Image: SAJJAD HUSSAIN/AFP/Getty Images Under Section 377, the penalty was a 10-year jail term, although it has "hardly ever been used in cases of consenting adults." Opponents said the law "served as a weapon for police abuse," and called for it to be scrapped. In 2009, the Delhi High Court ruled the law should be removed, but this was overturned four years later when the Supreme Court deemed the matter was up for parliament to decide. Since then, the law faced numerous challenges, but gathered speed when five high-profile petitioners put their names against the law, saying Section 377 left them victims of jail, abuse, extortion and torture. Across Indian cities there was an outpouring of joy when the Supreme Court finally made its decision. The United Nations in India said in a statement online that it hopes the ruling "will be the first step towards guaranteeing the full range of fundamental rights to LGBTI persons." "We also hope that the judgment will boost efforts to eliminate stigma and discrimination against LGBTI persons in all areas of social, economic, cultural and political activity, thereby ensuring a truly inclusive society," the statement reads. "The focus must now be on ensuring access to justice, including remedy; effective investigations of acts of violence and discrimination; and effective access to economic, social and cultural rights."

A couple was posing for their wedding photos on the edge of a cliff recently when a giant wave crashed on top of them out of nowhere. Newlyweds Jenny McCauley and Kirea Lovell got slammed by a monster wave while posing for their wedding photos on Aug. 16. “I heard the camera man go, 'You guys should be scared.' And I thought he was kidding, so I started cracking up, and within a second it just poured on us,” McCauley told Inside Edition. “I kinda just sat there in shock, like, ‘Did that really just happen? Is this real life?’” Lovell added. The photographer captured the very moment the wave came crashing in. The newlyweds were drenched and their white bridal gowns were soaked from the wave. Jayden Barrientos caught the whole situation on his cell phone. “I was like, 'You know what? They're in the right place and the wave is coming. So I need to get my phone out,'" he told Inside Edition. “Sure enough, it just crushed them.” The couple told Inside Edition that they are not angry they got soaked. "The photos are totally worth it," Lovell said. My opinion: What was nature's presence at their photo op for, a witness or affirmation of their union?

What matters isn't the number of times one falls, the most important thing is the ability to pick up one's self at every fall time and soldier on. Falling not were you never promised. Enjoy my siggy |

Take heart and stay strong bro, God knows best. But how about an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death instead of this blanket attribution of the little kid's death to some imaginary enemies. Rest in Peace to the lil angel. Enjoy my siggy |

This is certainly overdue and high time, not with our hospitals reduced to slaughterhouses. Our hospitals will even be jealous of an abattoir, so that will be an insult to slaughterhouses. I only hope the funds to be injected will be tracked, monitored and not get injected into their roguing stomachs and personal accounts. Enjoy my siggy.. |

360metrosports:Nice, Buhari seems to have gotten his mojo back and done more work since he travelled to China than he had done over three years in Nigeria and round-tripping the UK. Perhaps, he should just remain in China to keep active and signing anything signable so long as it'd benefit Nigeria/Nigerians. Enjoy my siggy |
ernieboy:As the matter take confuse you so, na so e be me too. Does lumping the lumping the South-South into the South-East in anyway diminish the number of people in the South-South or their resources? |
