Place your advert links, pics and prices here. Don't forget to add location/address, I shall be inspecting personally. |
Come febuary 15th, if voted back to power, they will return petrol back to its normal price or even higher, they will remember theif 70per tarrif increase in custom duty, and the number plate saga which they aready won in court of apeal. Only a fool does the same thing over and over again and expects a different result. Let's vote wisely. |

Two cars needed toyota corrola(automatic) and rav4 1999(automatic) all nigerian used, location is preferably lagos, but other locations would be considered. Please if there are any problems with the vehicles just let me know its all part of the consideration bad engines or tranny no problem, I just want a sharp body and clean electrical connections with functional a.c. https://media.ed.edmunds-media.com/toyota/rav4/1999/oem/1999_toyota_rav4_4dr-suv_special-edition_fq_oem_1_500.jpg https://bestsellingcarsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/toyota-corolla-japan-2004.jpg Please just drop pics and details here. And don't forget, sharp body. |
9icetoo:There has never been subsidy!!! Up north most of our marketers buy fuel from niger republic and still make profit, this is gov deceiving the people. |
Election strategy, I am not decived. Come febuary 15th they will remove subsidy gabadaya (completely), then they will remember the 70per custom duty, the they will bring back the new number plate saga which they won in court, but kept quiet abt it. I need a change from these blood sucking demons in power. |
Kashif:The failure rate when transmissions are rebuilt in nigeria is very high,it does not mean it will not work, but in many cases you will be back to square 1 in very little time. No auto transsmission "expert" will give you more than a months garantee on his work. Solenoid replacements are easy repairs, but clutch replacements with dirty oil and a contaminated valve body, ill rather buy a new transsmission. |

tonychristopher:https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B4SC91ECYAEO6wj.jpg Cvesta please do not take this advice, if your rollers are bad, have them replaced, pouring oil on serpentine belts will weaken them and they would expand or snap. |
IdaraCHODB:Beautiful. |
Try and drive the car, and listen to the engine (very improtant) check oil level, if short, its burning oil or leaking, go under the car, check for excessive rust ( a little rust is expected) ensure the instrument panel is free of christmas lights (check, vsc, airbags, etc), look for the timing belt replacement tag, that should inform you of when it was changed and if it is due for a replacement, check colour and smell of transmission oil, check suspension for broken rubbers and leaking strauts, check electrical, (windows, sunroof airconditioning,cd player remote locks etc) there's a lot I'm forgetting but that's a little guide that might help. Good luck As per the price, ill say 1.3-1.350. |
stanbiggi:Looks like a 4E-FE or a 5E-FE engineshould not cost more than 60/65k got one for 50k 2years ago. |

tolugar:Replace inner cv drive shafts or just replace a complete set of drive shafts. https://www.vibratesoftware.com/images/CV-Joint.jpg Show the pic to your mechanic, I'm sure he knows the part try and get a set. https://www.adreamdestination.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Tata_Indigo_XL.jpg Meanwhile do they have indian tokumbor parts? I seriously doubt it. |
Kashif, you still have not said what type of fluid you used. When clutches start slipping, best bet is to replace transmission. Its a nigerian thing, rebuilding has no guarantees. Meanwhile I ask again, what fluid did you use? Visco 2000? |
There might be nothing wrong with your car, security is just doing its job and you are not following the guidelines for its operations, don't know what you installed but if its the timer thing, all doors must be locked, then you press the hidden switch, if you do not here the click car remains dissabled. |
mayor2013:You don buy job! Make I lay mat wait for reply. |
simplicita:The 3s-fe engine mostly found in the toyota picnic can be directly swaped in the camry, harness and engine ecm do not have to be replaced. There are no advantages in putting the smaller engine (you will not get better gas mileage) but on the other hand its about 20-30k cheaper, actually most guys in the market will sell you a 3s as a 5s! Stick to the 5s. |
Beautiful4u:What was the code you got from the scan? |
murtala120:1. Make sure you have the right transmission ecu 2. Ensure you scan the car and there are no DTCs 3. If there are, post them here. |
A new found respect for president jonathan (even though I will not vote for him) I listened to the even live on radio, and he was on point. |

@eherbal nah only you waka come? Ok let's take it 1@ a time. eherbal:In your case locate the coolant temp switch, its coloured green, most times it is shorted with a wire to make the fans direct, just remove the wire and plug the socket back to the switch and problem should be solved. eherbal:Maintainance light, press and hold the odometer reset button (do not release) then turn on ignition (do not start) keep holding for 10sec maintenance light should dissapear, then release. This light comes up when your service interval is due. Abs: you did not give me any specific code Airbags: no specific code either. eherbal:Location? eherbal:I use abro coolant 4liter (not mixed with water) and it works for me. It is green. eherbal:Go under the car, take a pic of the exhaust and upload here. |
nairacountry:This is what happened to your car. House please pay attention to what I'm about I write so you don't fall prey to ecm killing panel beaters. Oxygen sensor https://www.support92688.com/images/acuhond_o2_4620_3002.jpg This device has 4wires one is ground(-) the other is 12+, and 2 other wires that. Run straight to the ecm. As you know an oxygen sensor generates its own voltage when it gets hot and this provides the signals the ecu uses to determine if the car is running rich (higher voltage signal) or lean (lower voltage signal) when you panel beater removed your exhaust, he possibly forgot to un plug your O2 sensor and with when the exhaust dropped the sockets all came out looking like this https://www.magnumtuning.com/images_2/fuel_saver_O2_sensor_Honda_Accord_Type_R.jpg Now your sensor has 4wires 2 are coloured black, one white and the other blue, your panelbeater actually just guessed (mini mini miny moe) and re-inserted the pins back randomly which was wrong. In doing so, a signal wire from ecm which is supposed to send 0-0.9v to ecm started receiving a 12v signal. That is why, when your o2 sensor socket was removed, car started functioning again but the damage was already done. Solution. Identify the o2 sensor that has the pins in the wrong order and place pins in proper order. Return all wiring to factory specification Then replace engine ecm (it is surely fried) RIP ecm. Avoid kazeem and if you must, be like me follow him under the car for each step. |
ZIMDRILL:OP remove the ground wire connected to the temp sensor, connect normaly clear codes and re- scan car, who can know the 12v(-) might be causing the ecm code. |
