Jobs/VacanciesRe: Hell Is Better Than Depot Nigerian Army Recruitment training by Gbengageorge: 3:56pm On Dec 01, 2018
Rubbish, eating soap is training. Nonsense. Is that how they train in the US or UK that brought the knowledge down to Africa. Honestly, I hate the sound of Nigeria Army training.

[quote author=airminem post=73404721]A cousin recently(76NA) trained in the Nigerian army recruitment Depot(depot NA). He said the training was really demanding and dangerous too. Sometimes individuals lost their lives in the process of the training. He told that they hardly sleep at night and for the period he was undergoing training, he could count how many nights he slept for alteast 3 hours(night) so horrible. The Instructors are so cruel and full of anger as if they had personal hatred for you being there. If you complain when on these intense training you are in trouble. If you dare make any moves like you are about to abandon the training and flee, da..mn, you are DEAD on that parade ground. The punishments are either very hard and often obviously illegal punishments. Purnishment like cleaning toilets or moving heavy objects, sitting on your head. Other punishments include doing push ups, colleagues being ordered to flog you like fulani cows, drinking soap, eating mud from the gutter, punishment that are not meant for humans of today.

Is this illegal? They could argue these obviously illegal punishments are not mandatory, but there is an incentive to do them because the other punishments are so difficult.

PoliticsRe: Jokotola Pelumi And 49 Others Arrested For Killing A Policeman (photo) by Gbengageorge: 1:49pm On Oct 30, 2018
Are you saying that the policemen, mistakenly killed one of their member and pushed the blame on the community? this is serious,

Smithvet32:
This news is false, I was at the burial party

27th October 2018,There was an ongoing burial event at agbowa-ikosi,ikorodu opposite agbowa palace, suddenly a white Volkswagen bus filled with officers was driving toward Ado,Beside the edge of Lagos model college fence, an officer alighted trekking backward maybe to make an arrest,

the officer's vehicle stopped, reversing backward, toward the porthole and crushed down the officer by their vehicle leading to damage of the rear windscreen, leaving the officer unattended to

the bus drove few meters toward ado opposite baba ricket compound, officers got down and started damaging the frontal windscreen and headlamp, aimed at them making a report that the boys in the community attacked them.

Few minutes later, police officers arrived at the scene to pick up the corpse driving back towards agbowa shooting guns, and arresting people that came to the burial event

Late in the evening other nonuniform officers trooped in danfo buses with guns, machetes aimed at towing the accident vehicle on their way back,

Getting to the spot of disrupted burial event, arrests were made, baba dehisilu APC chieftain's house was damaged, the nearby car wash was burnt down, and several vehicles belonging to event rental services was destroyed,

Later burgled into Former speakers house, arrested and destroying his properties,

Since then officers keeps coming making arrest of innocents citizens

RomanceRe: Why Don't Women Like Domesticated Men? by Gbengageorge: 2:32pm On Oct 19, 2018
They wont love it when you rub it on their face, but if you take it upon yourself and even joke about it and try to teach them they will enjoy it.

KOPT33:
From the ages of 15 - 18, I lived with my uncle and his five children, and to say that I turned to the woman of the house is an understatement. I was both the cook, the washer, the nanny, the everything. Since then, I have learned how to manage a household, and I can do it with very high standards.

For about three years, I worked as a restaurant manager in Lagos. Learned a whole lot about nutrition, kitchen affairs, meal planning, grocery shopping, stocking pantries, and many other things during my stint there. The result is that today, I am yet to meet a woman who is handier than me in the house or the kitchen. When I clean, I clean with exacting standards; I wipe, I mop, I shine, I use toothpicks to prick out dirt, I dust, I disinfect. In short, I am a professional when it comes to cooking and cleaning.

From what I have experienced so far, no girl who has come close to me has been able to match me skill for skill, and it frustrates them.

For most women, cleaning and cooking skills are a core part of their identity, and it quickly drives them up the wall when the man can do those tasks more proficiently than they. Most spiteful is if the man rubs any deficiency in their faces.

My ex-girlfriend would lock the kitchen whenever she cooked because she felt a certain type of way if I were to be around.

The girl before my ex would plain burst out in tears if she cooked something I didn't exactly like.

The answer to the question of "Do women like domesticated men?" Is: No! They do not. It is also even worse when the man tries to correct them at all times.

If you as a man lands with a woman whom you are better than on the domestic side of things, you have to be tactful in the way you correct her shortcomings; sometimes, you must hold your comments to yourself especially if you want peace to reign.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Interview Etiquette 101: My Personal Experience As A Recruiter by Gbengageorge: 9:05am On Sep 30, 2018
It is possible cos some doctors does not know what they are doing.

OfficialAPCNig:
I hate this game you want to play.

But just know that if you work for a top company in Nigeria, there is the chance that I have personally led or involved in either recruitment, training, appraisal, quality and process audit, assurance and other strategic HR function for your organisation within the last 7 years.

It is only in Nigeria you would see a Lawyer teaching a Doctor how to do surgery.

Too much book knowledge doesn't make one smart.

Yes, I don't know your question, so can we put an end to this madness now?

missidy:
I just feel like venting. I am tired, really tired. It's been a long year without anything achieved. Getting a job in this country is so difficult, nobody cares about you. Just yesterday after spending my last money to transport myself to the popular workforce at gbagada & even getting lost on the way, I met the usual man know man. Hot girls with heavy makeup were the only ones asked to go in. I was so stressed out that I started crying. Why is the country so bad? Is there any hope for us or our kids? I wish I had gotten married during nysc like other girls, at least they are not passing through this.
I apologise to my folks for disappointing them after all the money spent on my education and sacrifices.
I just feel like venting since there is nobody to talk to.

The one that I hate most is someone conducting interview for a position you don't know jack about.

They keep asking irrelevant question instead of questions that deals with the challenges of the job.
