When you think of it, GEJ is a honest man rounded by sycophant. GEJ you made this change happen, you made this historic event happen even though you lost so much. That is the heart of a man who is willing to sacrifice all to instill the best. Nigerians will never forget you. I also hope we will not regret our action.

For my fellow Nigerian, this is the day we celebrate true democracy in Nigeria. This is the day the boat turned at the dictate of the people. Today we stand as the winner. We stand as the voice of God. Congratulations.

Congratulations GMB, you are our choice today. Nigerian have given you the opportunity to become our Mandela, the opportunity to put your name in history, please do not disappoint us, let your agenda be that of the people. GEJ was unanimously voted in in 2011 as you are today, today he is unanimously voted out as you will be in 2019 if you fail us.

CONGRATULATIONS NIGERIAN.

Politics / PVC Collection In The North - APC/INEC Gimmick by gbigbega: 12:00pm On Mar 26, 2015
Its amazing how in northern states like borno, adamawa etc where boko haram insurgence is heavy, to have such massive PVC collection while state with relative peace are still struggling with average collection figures. Obviously something is very fishy about it.

I asked a Borno indegene yesterday how true the pvc collection figure is and he said he is also surprise because out of 27 LGA, only about 7 is functional. The rest have been burnt down by Bokoharam or the people have ran out. He said about 50% of the people are no longer in Nigeria because they ran to Chad and Cameroon which share border with them. Some are in IDP camps in Damaturu while many other are scattered throughout the country. He however stated that he can confirm that almost all the rest people around have collected their pvc. I asked him how those people were able to collect their pvc inspite the insurgence and he said they where allowed to collect pvc for others. One person can collect 20 pvc for other people. This person resides in Abuja but registered in Borno, he said the last time he when home, that he was given his pvc by a relative and also given plenty more to hand over to his other borno collegues in Abuja.

what puzzles me is that in a state where more than 50% of the populace are no longer in Borno or Nigeria how come they have so much pvc collection? Also how is it that INEC officials in that area ( APC stronghholds) allowed people to collect pvc and distribute for others while it is not allowed in the south. Something is really fishy.

I love my mum and will do anything for her but I will not use her as an opportunity to waste money especially in a community that is poverty striken. If I have that much money, I will donate something tangible to the community that will be in her memory. That I beleive, is a true sign of love for ones mother. He as succeded in making his mums burial a controversial subject of discussion. I dont think thats what she will like to be remembered by.

Politics / Fani Kayode On Obasanjo/jonathan 18-page Letter War by gbigbega: 12:55pm On Dec 13, 2013
“OBJ has finally closed GEJ’s chapter with his letter. Jonathan is finished- mark my words. Abati should shut up and let his boss speak for himself on this one.

The Ebora Owu has spoken and the issues that he has raised are too serious to be ignored or to be responded to with amatuerish and cheeky insults and slurs from a mere staff of the Presidency.

The President should find the courage to personally answer the charges and address the message rather than get his aides to attack the messenger. As Baba said, Jonathan is “bleeding Nigeria to death”. It is time for change.

God used Obasanjo to put Jonathan in power and, by His grace, He will use that same Obasanjo to remove him.”

Politics / Re: We’re Waiting For Sack Letters, Say Defiant Lecturers by gbigbega: 1:47pm On Dec 10, 2013
One day Nigerians will be delivered from their defeatist mentalist. We rather withdraw and embrace the prison our leaders have put us instead of fighting out our right. No wonder what happened in Egypt and Libya cannot happen in Nigeria. No wonder we cannot have a Mandela in Nigeria.

These lecturers are employed professionals in their area of studies fighting to make better the future of unemployed educated illiterates in the Nigerian education system and some of us think they are going to far. I weep for the people of my country.

When shall my people be free from their defeatist mentality.... when?

AjanleKoko: I can't believe people are still complaining over casualization in Nigeria. embarassed

I guess the problem is with our largely unskilled, and inadequately-educated workforce. Nigerian workers should think more about being personally productive, and less about a company that'll provide them with lifetime employment.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Most of the people casualized, especially in the oil and gas are experts and experienced worker in their field of study. Unfortunately, most of them don't know what await them before jumping into the stagnant water they find themselves. The slavery mentality and megalomaniac, narssisistic complex that runs in the blood of most africans is what make them enslave their own people when given the slightest chance. It is terrible and wicked.

Nashville: t will be Tambuwal/Fashola.

Tambuwal will soon join APC and will get the ticket. And yes a muslim/muslim ticket is possible. Remember Abiola/Kingibe

Nashville:

The party has zoned the presidency to the North. Moreover, a south/south combination will never happen!

Who told you APC now implements zoning and what makes you thing a muslim/muslim ticket will work. All your examples of of the types that has never worked for us in Nigeria and they will never work. Fashola is a good idea bu APC knows better than to do a muslim/muslim ticket.

Why do people lock their phone or ask people not to look through its content? It is because they don't want people to have access to critical information that they consider private and for their own consumption only.

As a married individual, if you consider your spouse as one of the person who should not peek into your privacy, then you are living a lie and have no respect for your spouse.

Do you know the Devil is doing everything to wipe out the name of Jesus or Christ from us. people have started using IJN now. that how the word christ started disappearing from words like Christmas, now they call it Xmas, crossing out the Christ with an X. Christian are now called Xtian too. this is because these names has something to do with power of our Lord Jesus Christ over the devil. I don't see any body calling Christopher xtopher or Christy xty because they are just human name and it has no spiritual significance.

You might say its only used for sms but don't be deceived. Xmas was use as an letter abbreviation initially, now people literally call it Xmas and not Christmas.

Politics / Re: Why Is The SW Waging War On GEJ On 2 Fronts? by gbigbega: 5:15pm On Sep 14, 2013
Ikengawo: Yorubas have followed Boko Haram and Buhari's CPC who's thugs massacred youth corpers because they lost an election by which their candidate spoke only Hausa believing this his people are entitled to Nigeria as their personal property. They are now following Atiku, who is the first man in human history to become a billionaire working as an airport employee.

I can understand wanting to follow Fashola who is a great man and great transformer and leader. I can even understand wanting to follow Tinubu because he united your people. But Fashola hasn't been visceral towards GEJ. He has little bad to say about the federal government. He has requested state police, a stronger fight against corruption and decentralizing powers. That all makes perfect sense. Amaechi, Peter Obi, Oshiomole, Akpabio, Mimiko, Rochas, and Imoke have all asked for the same. you

But when you start asking FG to pay boko haram, for GEJ not to run in 2015 which is his right as a citizen, calling his wife a hippo, calling him a drunkard, cheering when igbos are killed, supporting the party of Yerima and the Abacha family (ANPP) voting yes for child marriage, supporting the party that massacred youth corpers (CPC), attempting the defame prominent igbos like Bianca by spreading rumors about their sex life, cheering for the death of Chinua Achebe who committed no crime against the yoruba other than saying Awolowo was advocating the advancement of yorubas over others (which you all know is true), cheering for efforts to frustrate igbo businessmen in Lagos, and joining ranks with Boko Haram/supplying weapons and your sons, it is easy for the rest of southern nigeria to realize that the only enemy they have in Nigeria is the 'SW', and that there's nothing objective about their 'opposition' other than the fact that it's based on and born in the advancement of hatred and envy.

Seriously my friends, I feel so sorry for you. You are so full of bitterness and dissilusion that I was wondering if you were talking about a Yoruba tribe in another country. Where did you get all those fallacy? Do you really believe all you wrote? How about reading them again and see how nonsensical they sound. What is more, many people liked your comment. Seriously? We obviously have a lot of bitter persons in here, don't we?

Guess what, I am not from the SW, but lived there long enough, I hailed from north central, stayed in the SE for about 2 years, I just left the SS after almost 7 years of staying in their core. I know and have visited more creeks than some people from the SS, I currently live in the north. So I speak from experience.

I can tell you that SW are the model for democracy for this country. They pursue excellence come worth may and unbiased. The Northerner are one way, they follow their leader blindly. The NC is too confused to know who to follow or what they stand for. The SS are too selfish and self centered and want it all for themselves, the SE follows a 'all men for themselves' policy, they are also bitter to other groups and at every opportunity, they bring up matters that partain to Biafra war or Chinua Achebe ( thats why I guess you and your 'likers' are from SE). SW is like the equilibrum for Nigeria, without them, nigeria would have splitted that is why all other tribes want them on their side. Face the truth bro and throw away your bitterness.

Ikengawo: I would also like to add that this is the ancedotes of a few very loud internet savvy south westerners. If you go to GEJ's page, Yorubas are trooping to support him like anyone else. It's not an igbo convention there or a ijaw party, it's very broad based and national support.

GEJ will win in 2015, and history will remember him as the president that brought industry back to nigeria, aviation back to nigeria, power back to nigeria, international respect back to nigeria, working functional institutions back to nigeria, professionalism and technocrats back to government, and liberated the south from the grip of the north and their southwestern lap dogs.

Your writeup is ridden with tribalism and bigoted. This is the reason why you will always have opposition from the unbiased SW. Be objective, Obasanjo opposition was majorly from SW that was why PDP lost all SW.

You mentioned a lot of GEJ's achievement but we all know that ordinary man on the street is suffering even greater since he came in. Even the middle class are complaining severely. Petrol price sky rocked, we pay PHCN N750 every month for doing nothing, we pay N1000 at the airport after paying for our air ticket, its costing about N50k to get new plate number and particulars, corruption is at all time high, oil theft is at all time high, no caught, corrupt official is being convicted,5 is more than 27 , 13 more than 16 and many more. Even though Obasanjo was not that good but the poor man on the street was better than now. Its never been this bad for Nigerians and you think SW will support you? You have another thought coming.

I am not in support of people abusing GEJ, he is the president of my country and he deserves respect. This abuse is rampant because the middle class feels cheated, robbed of their vote and are barely surviving. It just happens that its this same set of people that are always online and they use the platform to vent their anger and disgust to the state of decadence in Nigeria.

IMO, if you build airport, provide 24hr power, build road and rail, as long as you allow corruption to strive, you have done nothing because corruption will eat up all your effort. You can not leave the tap running while mopping the floor. It will always look like you've done nothing.

That is because they are very objective, non-sentimental and non-tribalistic. They will support you when you do well or if they think you will do well and same people will oppose you when you do badly. They don't follow you because you are powerful, in-power or influencial (e.g. Obasanjo). They do what they think is right, considering the present circumstance. That was why they were able to push PDP out of power even when PDP was the ruling party. It is in SW we have true democracy in Nigeria. Others just talk and brag but do nothing when its time to vote or voice out.

If GEJ is doing well, be sure he will have the full support of SW during election. If otherwise they will vote him out even if Oyinlola and Tinubu licks hIs boots.

Politics / Re: How Would You Manage Corruption In Nigeria If You Are President? by gbigbega: 3:42pm On Jul 29, 2013
omiobo:
Corruption can never be eradicated,it can only be managed.

I think one of the greatest mistakes made is trying to manage corruption instead of eradicating it. The word manage means, there is nothing you can do to cure or stop it. You only try to maintain, worship and serve it so that you can live along side with it. This is what all our leaders are doing and that is why corruption is still prevailing.

Sickness like cancer, diabetes etc are the types that are managed because they have no cure. Malaria and polio etc are to be eradicated because they are curable and all effort is put in making sure it dies even though we still have traces of it here and there.

We are still in big trouble when the campaign towards corruption is to manage instead of eradicate. As it is with diseases, it will eventually consume its victims. We all need to face it with an 'eradicate it' mentality.
Politics / Re: Wole Soyinka: The Crimes Of Buhari by gbigbega: 6:00pm On Jul 27, 2013
Well, all I will say is that we need new leaders. We have so many people in Nigeria that its preposterous to allow a once indicted or non performing person to lead again.

Nigerians need to be bold and sincere enough to line up behind people who have proven to be good leaders irrespective of their tribe or national influence. What will change this country is our decision to do the right thing and not follow the crowd. They are who they are and may never change. We should be bold to be who we all claim to be - ready to choose a good leader come worth may.

If you choose a goat to lead you then expect 'goaty' policies and treatments.

And after using my money to buy infrastructure, are they going to give me the light for free? Which kind of robbery business is that? You use my money to buy the goods and sell it again to me. Are these people thinking we are fools?
