smiley. What if Arsenal loses to Aston Villa while the Manchester clubs wins their remaining 3 fixtures?
Then arsenal would finish 5th based on goal difference. It's very unlikely though.

Though we want LVG to be sacked but that does not mean we should forsake the Top 4 opportunity or winning the FA!
GBR1 is as frustrated as other Fans here, but I think he should support the Club playing Champions League Footie next Season as well as defending the FA Trophy!
grin
So we can crash out in the group stages of the CL into Europa or what? Even winning the FA cup gets you into Europa i think.

It's not worth it.

True. We are becoming the new Arsenal. And unlike dem, fourphy is nothing to celebrate. Hope we make top 4, win d FA Cup and still sack LVG. Those are the only things about this pitiful season that can bring smiles to my face.
It's good to hope but we should be realistic in this context. The chances of getting LVG getting sacked gets very low if he wins the FA cup and makes top 4. Your hope doesn't exist in reality. It's bad enough that LVG has put us in this kind of situation where any victory for United is actually a bad thing for the club with LVG staying.

I really don't care about CL football if LVG is still here. We would not get past the group stages in CL and we would still fail to attract the players we need with LVG in charge top 4 or not. It's disgraceful enough that top 4 would be celebrated as an achievement or even used to save LVG's job. If i had the option of making top 4 and keeping LVG or sacking this lunatic and doing away with top 4, i know exactly what option i'd choose every time and it's the latter. Feck top 4!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by GBR1(m): 5:17pm On May 08, 2016
I don't think you have a proper understanding of the term ''rival''. In the EPL United have Chelsea, City, Liverpool, and Arsenal at best as rivals, not other PL teams like Spurs, Westham are considered rivals where we could buy players from. These rivals in England find it difficult to sell/acquire players from one another though there are exceptions, but like i said it's very rare. In Spain Barcelona and Madrid are rivals and the story is similar because i can't remember the last any player switch directly between these 2 clubs since the Figo move which was even highly controversial at the time. In Italy, the big clubs perform similar acts. Generally these rivals would rather sell abroad than to their closest competitor. When these rivals shop in the league, they mostly buy from mid table/lower ranked teams. So stop giving useless examples and stop trying to draw feeble parallels to excuse Bayern from these shameful acts they've been involved in
Dortmund mostly buys young players or top prospects from lower teams in the Bundesliga not finished products, and not players from Bayern their rival/major competitor. Again in Germany, we have a league with a big club like Bayern and Dortmund as the rival but Bayern getting their closest rival important players year after year. From buying Gotze to getting Lewandoski on a free transfer. Now they are coming for Dortmund's captain in Hummels, another very important player to Dortmund. There is no excuse for this again and this is not the 1st or even 2nd time Bayern has done this and i doubt this would be the last time. I hope we know LVG's fate soon enough because these transfer speculations are very dependent on it and there's not really much to look forward to until then. BTW Adeyemi2015, I don't think we should sign Ben Arfa and for good reasons.

insecure bïtch. . . .you were the one that quoted dadehmola first to spew applesauce. is that not throwing tantrums and a huge sign of insecurity?

I wonder why you keep referencing to what happened in the Barça thread as a debate. . . . what debate? i can see the shellacking that was administered you on that fateful day is still causing you have false memories.

and stop mentioning Cougar, mate. it makes you sound stüpid. everybody knows that this has always been my online persona since day one. or since when did Coogar have a monopoly on the English Language? Christ. just when I thought you've hit the saturated mark of stüpidity. you are so full of surprises.

why would an intellectual descendant of Archimedes like me need to ditto Coog? grin.

you should feel honoured that I'm even replying you today. i had already filed you among those i think is need of some stringent mental rehabilitation.
We discuss football here and have related debates, not posting of ridiculous rap lines instead of facts. That's stuff is for the rap section. It's beyond obvious you are so limited in knowledge and that's why you resort to insult/tantrums each time you get owned like you're doing now. Judging your previous antecedents, you have been accused numerous times of stealing lines from Coogar in the rap section, and you got disgraced rightfully for that. Are you not trying to imitate him? Am i the first person to accuse you of this?

That's why when i labelled you an inferior version of him, i knew exactly what i was saying. All tripe/tantrums, no substance. You have no persona online. You are just a nobody who's trying to earn a silly reputation online by wrongly imitating the acts of another who was far superior to you in terms of ability and i'm simply proving you out to be the fraud i believe, in fact you're in actual life. BTW i'm done with you.

Coogar the guy you're trying to imitate by these brazen insults posted a lot on this very thread(he was a United fan in fact) and he was quite educated/knowledgeable unlike you who knows next to nothing and can't even make use of logic in a simple debate. You really need to read a lot to know stuff first, then we would take you seriously.

I remember having a debate with him on the Barca thread previously. I made a mistake thinking i was conversing with a knowledgeable fellow. All he did was to post tripe and couldn't even make a point or establish an argument. Coogar although in my memory was quite abrasive/insultive, he really did know a lot of stuff and was well read at leats. Coogar was also logical and made good arguments with facts to back himself up more often than not. But as for the dude you quoted, our very own troll Kagawa strikes me as more informative than him. If you are in doubt, just go through his posts yourself grin grin grin

Kagawa10:
Only an eediot like you wouldn't admit Pool has an excellent forwards that's capable of slotting seamlessly into our attacks.
Sturridge would displace Rooney without much work done considering a young Rashford had no problem pushing the sluggish Rooney aside. The pacy Coutinho/Firmino would make Mata their bittcch all day. Only Martial can have a say in that attack.
And considering our team has no one to play in the holding role other than the ageing Carrick and crocked Bastian, I don't see why Can wouldn't have slot into our holding midfield role. Milner is also a good player who constantly kept his place in City's starting 11 for a reason. He's far better than Morgan, Herrera and Fellaini.
Do you know Milner was his team best midfielder when he was at Aston Villa before his move to City just as Morgan, Fellaini and Herrera were for their small team to some extent?
Hence, what has the above mentioned players proved to show they are better than Milner to begin with?
When you actually take care of your disturbed mind centered on Lvg being a devil incarnate, you would realise that Manutd has an average team.
When you consider that our best midfielder till date is an ageing Carrick, then you realise we're fuccvked as a team.
I knew you'd come up with this tripe. Where were these players when Liverpool was under performing and Rodgers got sacked? undecided

They're suddenly better since they had a change of manager. Where were these players when we were beating them home and away?

Abeg carry these your bollocks park one side!
Kagawa10 is extremely disgusting. There was no way i'm agreeing that Liverpool's squad is better than our's. We are simply underachieving with our's and Klopp is doing a far better job than LVG. Have we forgotten when LVG said the Europa league was our best chance for competing for the CL? Then we got knocked out disgracefully and that lunatic of a manager told us our expectations were too high and we should focus on the league! Liverpool might get CL football next season even without finishing in top 4 spots, and they've earned it. They have beaten United, Dortmund and steamrolled villareal on their road to the finals and to this they deserve great credit.
This frequent readjusting of expectations/plans must stop. A club like our's has the resources and structures to challenge every season for the title regardless of whatever happenings the previous season. This transition window period 3 years or whatever is total bullsh1t. It's only in United we're being told this filthy nonsense when almost all of the top clubs changing management never experience this problem. LVG has failed and it's time we moved on from him. Sincerely I'm really ashamed at how much time some folks need to spend in order to come to terms with this simple reality.
BTW villareal is a disgrace
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by GBR1(m): 10:16pm On May 05, 2016
Nihilist i think it's really necessary at this point to define exactly what is attacking or possession football as they are both terms with such mercurial understanding.
IMO the current Barcelona team in my opinion is considerably more attacking than Pep's but the latter's version averaged greater possession. What kind of top team would you refer to be as attacking in theses scenarios; a top team executing relative high number of attacking moves that enables it to score a sh1t load of goals against majority of teams in it's league (basically a flat track bully) but is more conservative the big games which are few or a top team one that attacks and averages high possession similarly all through?

In the 90s when Italy more or less dominated, i remembered the major emphasis was on the catenaccio although those sides were very capable of great attacking moves.

I can't justify or establish arguments if the meanings or the entirety of these terms are still in question.

No this is wrong. The 4th placed club would still go to the CL. The 4th spot only becomes useless if City and Liverpool win the CL and EL respectively while simultaneously finishing out of top 4 spots. City is already out of the CL.
