sebod:Are you confused or something? The above doesn't make sense when you have a clear choice as stated but it seems you're finding it difficult to admit. |
afrodoc2: ![]() |
Dadehmola:Wow. I don't remember this one. I could never have imagined it. ![]() |
RuuDie:Were you not the same guy who said we should get a British manager, play football the English way? ![]() |
Olabode89 i think Romero had some clean sheets at the season's beginning. |
You shouldn't take every ranking so serious. The same Lloris who just conceded a silly goal due to his error almost simultaneously costing Spurs the title. The same Lloris that couldn't even make it to the team of the year in his own league even with those clean sheets. Athletico's keeper Oblak has more clean sheets and conceded less goals than Navas, Madrid's shot stopper. Can one say he's been better than Navas this season? There's really no debate here. |
SailorXY:I really hope you're right and it goes our way. it's shameful if we fail to make top 4 not because City and Arsenal failed to drop points but because we couldn't win our matches and take advantage. Besides missing CL twice in 3 years is a very poor record and we should do everything possible to avoid it. |
SailorXY:Why do you seem so sure? I think Leceister have lost only 3 games all season. The odds are not in our favor. |
chrisley024:We still have the FA cup to play for, and 3 games which could get us top 4. Now I hope he doesn't lose the squad with these statements. He's just an arrogant bastard who should have been shown the door a long time ago. |
I think LVG has been told he's going out. This is a very terrible thing to say like Moyes-esque. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-utd-van-gaal-transfers-11233215 |
PietroRico:Surely it's inevitable that City/Arsenal will drop points considering they face each other. The problem is we're gonna drop points too. I don't see us winning all our remaining matches. That's the story of our season so far. |
The win against Everton was good but please let's not get carried away though we shouldn't be exactly pessimistic either. LVG doesn't fool me one bit. I remember clearly enough the expectations before the season begun and/or our plans we established at the time he got appointed. He barely scraped top 4 in his first year and while that was a major objective that season to be fair to him, finishing 4th was regarded good because of the shambles of a season we had previously when we missed CL spots and we were far from competing from the title. LVG actually planned to win the league by 2nd year, and challenge for the CL in his 3rd/final year. We failed to compete for the title this year (his 2nd year) and making top 4 seems very uncertain so we might not even be in CL talk more of challenging for it. This is failure, and attempts at revisionism are shameful at best. LVG has mastered the act of making United fans lower their expectations every now and then and making us think poorly. Some even say he should stay because he plays young players. Do you think LVG would not give up playing even a single youth player if he got offered the 1st position on the table? Sincerely, there are too many things to complain and i could go on and on, but what i'm trying to say now is simple; Finishing 4th and even winning the FA cup should not be enough for LVG to keep his job. He must be moved on from and this summer, i believe his replacement is already in waiting. Now let's just support him, and hope we can end the season in the best means possible. |
Strange line up, different from what i expected. |
homesteady:You are the one trying to make this more complicated than necessary. I'm saying to you that the holy trinity of Barcelona pre MSN was comprised of Messi, Iniesta and Xavi (note Busquets is excluded) and it was rarely used to describe the midfield trio of Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets. I get it if it's just your opinion based on common sense but i know the results that would turn up if i google Barcelona's holy trinity (with the exception of MSN), and those results would place what I've said over your opinion. |
raumdeuter:Keep on making claims like this. You only reinforcing what i know about you already. I got you on that like every single time you have tried to spar with me and I tell you to go develop your football muscles first before you even try, Develop your football knowledge. But like the typical upstart, you read something rush out to show yourself and end up getting a bloody nose every time.I don't care what you know or what knowledge you claim to possess but i know of your reputation enough to see how you shape shift, twist facts and tells lies to make an argument and you don't even seemed bothered about these terrible acts. While i'm not perfect and keep on trying to improve, i know i won't like to end up like you. |
raumdeuter:This is the major problem i have with you. You think too highly of yourself to ever admitting anything even when you are wrong. I have owned you more times than not in most arguments we've had and this a fact. That is how you bump into whats above your IQ level and end up getting disgraced every single time. For the past 4 days we have been waiting for you to tell us how you came about a 1.1 rate you posted on the Chelsea thread but you fled as usual when you have been sodomized with superior facts and logicYou got me on this. I got the points per game figure wrong and here you have me admitting it. I know better than go on when i'm wrong but this of course is a quality too rich to expect from you. |
raumdeuter:You are not discussing with the majority here and you are not privy to what i know or have known and the rest of the above is your bullshит opinion. Who has rated those bundesliga keepers over 90% of EPL keepers? I have made my point and you have done so little to go against it. |
raumdeuter:I'm not in support of that logic the poster you quoted used earlier. I was against you saying De gea has poor competition in the EPL when it's obvious Neuer doesn't have that much better in the Bundesliga. This takes nothing from Neuer though, but while i agree he's still the best based on his already established performances, i watch enough of Bayern matches to know he hasn't been as good as De gea based on this season alone. You might however not agree but it's fair enough. Germany has almost always had better keepers than England. There's no debate here but the debate regards the keepers in the bundesliga is a different thing. Maybe if Trapp, Ter stegen and others hadn't left they could have been better competition to Neuer compared to the keepers currently in German league. BTW, de gea has made just one more appearance than Cech this season so that your point is false too. De gea is on that team simply because he has been the best keeper in the league, not because of his contemporaries' injury or less competition. |
raumdeuter:Strange you are on about De gea's competition in the EPL. I know Germany has been producing some extremely good/talented keepers in recent years but the best of them have been leaving the league with the exception of Neuer at Bayern, so i don't really know how Neuer's competition is better than De Gea when there are good keepers like Cech, Courtois currently plying their trade in the EPL. BTW, don't see this as Germany vs England. |

homesteady:The holy trinity has been used to describe a lot of things even in football especially the forwards making up a team's triumvirate (most popular being United's trinity which included Best, Law and Charlton) but i'm not exactly sure it was used to describe Barcelona's midfield trio of Iniesta-Busquets-Xavi and it seems you are making this up. Your current forwards comprising of Neymar-Suarez-Messi are more of one actually. |
weedtaker:I expect those long diagonal balls to Valencia, and the commentators full of praise as usual. |
Strange line up.https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CggSAmaUIAYKE2S.jpg |
Dongorgon5:Stop giving silly excuses for PSG. City were the better team over the 2 legs and deserved to go through. |
Raumdeuter it seems you failed to notice i was done with that debate. Stop the mentions and i advise you go through the nonsense you have been posting recently, because you would get exposed again the next time i quote you. I won't warn you again. |
homesteady:I think it has more to do with what Pique has been doing off the pitch. He really needs his team to win, maybe even more than any individual in the Barcelona's team. He went too far trolling Madrid on social media regards Barcelona's success relative to Madrid troubles and now it seems the tables are being turned or been turned and it's gonna get really hot/ugly for him, more so than it is already. I have always had a soft spot for Gerard respecting his limited time at United and considering he has always ever spoken good things about us but this time it's difficult to defend him and he only has himself to blame. |
raumdeuter:A German player or even a player who plied his trade in the Bundesliga has not won the Ballon d'or in over 18 years. You used a poor analogy. Dortmund basically played a Spurs' B team (i have proof) because Tottenham rested a lot of their major players and didn't take much interest in the fixtures because they were still competing for the EPL title, and i think the results could have been different if spurs didn't do so considering the way Liverpool handled Dortmund. Dortmund got exposed when they faced Liverpool placed 8th in the PL and who can't even get into top 4. Now here's the fun part; Do you even know how many players Dortmund rested in their important league fixture against Schalke simply because they wanted to beat Liverpool in the 2nd leg? They failed miserably. ![]() |
SIRcumalot:Guy nawa for you o... ![]() na 147 or 190 o with a lot of debt and tax repayments... you sure say Woodward go sanction that kind money and won't we better off strengthening other positions instead on just spending big on a single player and every thing can go wrong? |
Kagawa10:You don't always have to resort to insult or go against everyone to show you possess an opinion and you should try to see more reason in your colleagues' post who are United fans like you than you are doing currently. You do come across like an opposition fan or troll, and you can't get very far with that behaviour in this thread especially not in these times. |
raumdeuter:Boateng ![]() Godin Thiago Silva Chiellini. It's all subjective though and i'm not even interested in this debate. |
Kagawa10:This new post for example describes exactly what i was talking about. Relate this post of your's to my previous'. |
