Another false statement

The coefficient for this season 2015/16 would NOT affect slots for next season 2016/17 they would only affect from 2017/18

Thus 2016/17 would only start taking effect from 2018/19
It does not affect the slot, it affects the rank at that moment. That's what you should have though of when you projected England would start by 4th in 2018 without thinking properly. You should understand the difference.

No its not factually correct

Lazio doesnt have to make 3.6 difference because of the 3.6 difference 3.9 would automatically drop off by start of next season which still leaves EPL with a deficit vs Italy

As it stands today If next season starts tomorrow. EPL would start the UEFA ranking at 4th by 2018 season

EPL teams would for the rest of this season have to pick up 0.3 points more than Italy to be level or 0.4 points more to be ahead
The season does not start tomorrow, does it? and i have already projected the PL to gain more this season either way so we're definitely going to be starting ahead of Italy next season.
Now and again listen to yourself, have you forgotten the coefficients of 2016/17 season would be needed to compute the rank of the leagues for 2018? so how can you determine the PL would be 4th by 2018 when you have no idea how PL teams would perform by then(in 2016/2017)? undecided
so what is this statement in bold supposed to mean? I'm very curious to see how you would spin this.

Lets now see who doesnt know how things work between me and you. Take your pen and start taking notes

The coefficient is a 5 yr average. By the start of next season the the 2011/2012 season coefficient would drop off

In 2011/12 EPL has about 3.8 coefficient advantage over Italy which would drop off. The EPL has an edge over Italy in all yrs apart from last season 14/15 and they would have to carry that burden for the next 4yrs

2011/12
England 15.25
Italy 11.357

12/13
England 16.4
Italy 14.4

13/14
England 16.7
Italy 14.1

14/15
England 13.5
Italy 19.0

15/16
England 11.8
Italy 11.3
Everything i said is factually correct. The onus is on time to prove my analysis wrong
As at today. Assuming all EPL and Italian teams dont get any more point till season ends. Italy would surely overtake the epl (This is impossible with the draw now since either Liverpool or Man utd would win and advance)
But this isn't the case, is it?
Assuming Juve and Roma both go out now and without getting any point in return legs, Lazio alone will have to make up those 3.6 coefficient points. Italy started with 6 teams so Lazio need to get 22 points including bonuses. If they win every match from now on in Europa, including final, the max they get is 17. We are also assuming here that English teams get no point from here on which is not likely.

Go and lodge your complaints to UEFA

In this current season

Spain 15.9 points
Germany 13.4
England 11.8
Itally 11.3

You better hope all Italian clubs get eliminated from the CL so you dont lose your spots next season
Sometimes you should slow down on this. The difference between England and Italy as of now is 3.6 coefficient points. So 4 spots for 2017-18 are secured for PL. PL teams though should really use this opportunity to capitalize so as to negate last season when Italy gained 5.5 coefficient points on England. Otherwise England may start slightly behind Italy next season which will determine 2018-19 spots.

This season has been a disaster, my advice is take each game as it comes and enjoy the good games without to much over thinking of the next games. I have predicted Arsenal to wack us, do I care, not a bit because i'm buzzing about seeing a brilliant performance in an injury ravaged team. LVG will be gone in the summer and all the positives of this season may build the foundation of next so lets just enjoy a good game for what it was.

Most of us agree LvG must go but the players are just not helping matters at all. I know we have quite a number of rookies in there but the main team have been doing exactly the same thing.

Mata could not despatch a pen in a crucial game like this, imagine how he played that pen SMH. I guess he was Hot!!

They will start struggling to level scores on aggregate towards the end of the match, push forward looking for that goal and then concede stupidly.

Chai!
Mata barely ever scores when it matters. Good for a third goal when you're 2-0 up but he's not a big game player for me.
Memphis has been excellent.
Varela, Riley, Morgan and Rashford have been good.
Romero and Herrera have been grand.
Carrick, Blind, Mata and Lingard have been bad.

I want to believe Neville is getting used to his players and he is now able to harness their individual abilities to produce results. Also, he has not lost in four matches.
I think the appointment of his new assistant has more to do with his recent success than what you stipulated.

so you guys said when lvg was brought, you all praised him to high heavens, dissed our players who had united's winning dna in them. Mourinho will flee with his tails between his legs, you guys will then clamour for ancelotti, united is fast turning to chelsea of old, giggs is the answer. He has observed on the bench enough to manage united. Weeks back you guys were dissing gary now his team is on a winning run. A manager is as good as his last victory.
LVG was the best choice available at the time and it was a good choice as we achieved our objective with him in his first season. LVG has not had much success in his career recently, and it's no surprise he's failing now. Moyes with players with united dna in them took us backwards and he failed miserably and he's still proven as a manager whose career record is maybe 4 games. He was mediocre, and he was even Fergie's choice, so don't even get me started on that.
Mourinho's got an average of one Champions League for every two games Giggs has managed, and has somewhere around double the number of league titles as Giggs has games managed.
Gary is still a failure, do you even know his win rate? a few good runs against mediocre sides doesn't change that. Almost all of ex SAF players have been very terrible coaches, and a few average at best. Giggs is not gonna be an exception, and especially with our current state like no CL football next season, what players are we gonna attract with Giggs as manager? are you even thinking at all?

Giggs should go somewhere else and prove himself, and if he's that good, we'll gladly welcome him back. The Manchester United Manager's Job is a Top Career job, not a job you learn on, and this is even the worst period possible for learning. You should also note all our great Managers have been outsiders Sir Alex, Matt Bubsy. You have no point really undecided

Bryan Robson , mark Hughes, Steve Bruce, Gary Neville, all have better credentials than Giggs but you wouldn't want them as the next Manchester United Manager. Giggs has achieved nothing as a manager. Even Gary Neville had the bottle to leave England and manage abroad when he couldn't even speak the language. Giggs daren't even go to Swansea as a No.1 because like most former players he would soon be found out and would never get to united in the future in a managerial capacity.most No.2 managers should leave a club when the No.1 is sacked...after all they are a team, it's no good LVG getting the sack then Giggs saying he didn't agree with LVGs methods....as a No.2 you should be loyal and support your Manager. For all we know Giggs may have shafted LVG for his own means in the future....is he devious like that.....ask his wife .

It's not a turn around, It's just 2 consecutive wins against minnows. and this, coming from an Arsenal fan undecided. We don't want what you guys enjoy by sticking with Wenger.
The thing is if Giggs is given the role and doesn't do well he will probably be given even more time than van Gaal, and it's disgusting to figure out where we might be by then.

Please leave Rooney out of this today, he didn't play. If he played and scored a hatrick, they would say it was against a small team.

It's clear these guys are the ones dragging Rooney back, out attack had no meaningful movement today, and the midfielder didn't have anyone to even pass to.

I saw a stat yesterday, United without Rooney is pathetic. Please just leave Rooney from this.
cc GBR1

Percentage win with Rooney = 54%
Without Rooney = 39%

Goals with Rooney = 1.7
Without Rooney = 1.4
Our problems are beyond Rooney but he constitutes part of it. He should walk next summer.
All coaching and management staff should resign.
The cheap ass owners are waiting until it's mathematically certain we go don't get 4th - that way they can sack him and Giggs and their entourage without paying compensation. They did it with Moyes. They'll do the same with LVG.
