why is it that whenever there is thread to do with a Abia State, someone just erupts from the inner part of bende village to start up a ''language protection'' campaign as if anyone is fighting with them. Other people are trying to bring science and technology, enlightenment, education, and more,,,,,yet all you have to offer is change it to an ibo forum. Its the likes of you that have ruined our state. Its the likes of you that has made our ligua franca in Abia state to be ibo. (If one speaks english publicly in Abia, he'll look weird). Ol'boy please DON'T use the internet again. Go back to the villages in Bende and sustain your mentality

these two phones are really competing. I'll go for the LG Optimus, its not as common as Samsun Galaxy. Uniqueness belongs to super classic people.

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Guys Speak Out: Why We Don't Marry Early by gedtalks(op): 9:02pm On Dec 26, 2013
okay 1st to comment....

1. Money !!! - some of us want to gather it BIG enough before we even consider asking girls out because we know that the first thing pretty naija look at is the weight of our pockets

2. One Channel only: unfortunately marriage is like watching only one NTA channel, while bachelorhood is like watching 50 channels of DSTV.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneGuys Speak Out: Why We Don't Marry Early by gedtalks(op): 8:32pm On Dec 26, 2013
Guys let's help single lady's by making them understand our reasons for not rushing into marriage when they wish we seal up the relationship.

From experience add your reason for not wanting to get married on time. Please be honest

FamilyRe: To My Future Husband by gedtalks(m): 7:14pm On Dec 26, 2013
Let me add my own one kobo advice, it might really help you if you try it out.

1. Stop being too conservative; you said you're an indoor person. If you keep staying indoors WHO wld see you? Come out of the shell and let ''the product'' be seen and heard.

2. Your appearance matters a lot- you need to look good 24/7 but in a generally accepted way. (neither too holy looking nor too sinful looking) . If you are Fat - loose the weight. Most guys (like me) ABHORE FAT GIRLS as wife cos they look lazy, dirty and sexually unattractive.

3. Your character- carrying Bible and going to church everyday DOES NOT MEAN you are good natured. Even satan goes to church these days and calls himself ''pastor''. BE SINCERELY GOOD NATURED. BE OPEN MINDED. BE SIMPLE NATURED. When a joke is funny laugh -be urself in a good mannered way. Let people see that you are humble by interracting with ALL classes of people. When you come across ''drunkards, party freaks'' and poor/illitrate men, DONT CARRY YOUR NOSE UP, their brother might just be Mr Perfect or Mr Perfect might just be watching you.

4. Be perfect in courtesy. Learn to greet anyone/everyone politely. Greeting alone has given thousands of girls husbands.

5. Be African minded if you want to marry an African man. Never engage in such discussions to show that you want to be ''equal'' to ur man. (its only a stupid man that will look down on a lady that exalts him). We Men expect that you RECOGNIZE us as the oga's. It makes us feel good and kills all our fears about you.

5. Be positive minded- imagine good things and smile and pray for them to come.

Goodluck my dear

this comment isn't necessary my dear... If anyone seeks knowlege and asks, freely give him you never know what he can do with it. Thats why the internet is free
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo's Letter To Jonathan by gedtalks(m): 4:49am On Dec 24, 2013
whenever you want an information which is available online, just type the title of the information you need in google search engine and you'll most likely find it. For eg. Go to www.google.com , the type ''Obasanjo's letter to Jonathan''
PoliticsRe: Tell Us What You Think The Old Umuahia Main Market Should Be Developed Into by gedtalks(m): 9:13am On Dec 18, 2013
Coincidentally, I have been doing a write up on this very topic to deliver at the Government house.

I currently reside in Calabar, and I've seen the need for an ''International shopping mall/ mordern workshop center'' in Abia state (my state of origin).

I wish it could be read by His Excellency Gov. T.A Orji himself.
PoliticsRe: Tell Us What You Think The Old Umuahia Main Market Should Be Developed Into by gedtalks(m):
I really wish this could get to Gov T.A Orji.

The gratest thing that can be done in Abia State is Create an Environment that will boost Trade and development of Aba made products - the most development driving resource that we have.

[b] If for example Tinapa were built in Umuahia and specifically used as an Aba made products trade center & symposium hall to promote MODERNIZED MARKETING METHODS of (quality checked) Aba made products, this would REBRAND ''Aba made'' from sounding inferior to sounding superior (this is one of the major problems of Aba made products).

When this is achieved (demand in these products will surely rise) , it will surely attract public investment, and even international recognition.

In the aspect of fashion designing for instance, Lagos state (which is not as skilled as Aba in the art of local production) is able to design wears and get Internationally recognized outfit Brand names, what is hindering Aba from doing so and overtaking lagos state huh I think its the level of enlightenment of the citizen. Abia state needs enlightenment of its citizens through workshops, symposium, academies. We need to grow out of the ''bush man'' mentality. We need to utilize real modernized marketing methods to attract zealous attention (financial) of the Federal Government local and International investors.

Dating And Meet-up ZoneShould Husband And Wives Really Be EQUAL ? by gedtalks(op):
I have heard so many guys and girls argue over this issue in Nigeria. And I noticed that some Naija wives actually desire that hushands share responsibilities like house chores equally with them (as in 50% - 50%). ...to some; it shows the guy is civilized . Some Naija wives also want to return home by 7pm when their husbands return by 7pm (specifically if she has a WHITE COLLAR JOB) ....and of course he should expect her to be as tired as he is, so both should share the house responsiblities.. According to some reasoning, this is EQUALITY . My question is Should Husbands and Wives be equal in this sense ? Or what really is equality between Husband and Wife ?
RomanceRe: Finest Guy On Nairaland, Upload Pic, Girls Rate. by gedtalks(m): 9:22am On Dec 17, 2013
my dear, Naija girls have taught us one thing.... its NOT the looks of the face that matters, its the weight of the pocket . I bet you if that guy is rich, he would be so rushed by girls that he wont even know that he actually looks pitiful
