Its such a shame we lost this match, truthfully i saw flashes of brilliance in the midfield and the movements of the flying eagles. Their sublime touches and runs was delightful to watch. They just seem to lack the discipline and composure needed to complete the match. More importantly, we needed a good finisher.

Some you guys need to chillax, we will get a goal.

I am just curios, perhaps someone can enlighten me on when Enough becomes enough. I don't need to remind anyone on the current state of affairs in Nigeria. At what point do oppressed Nigerians consolidate and wage a vicious war against the tyrannical elite. What exactly are we waiting for? Are we waiting for them to consume whats left until we perish. Are we not angered enough? How can we organize our selves and fight? Is a revolution necessary? or do we wait till credible leaders spring up , Does anyone have any unique ideas?

I remember this kid that built a battery operated toy car when we were young in this small town in Osun state. He used the oscillator from a fan to flip the wheels. He didn't even have a formal education and i doubt he even physically saw a toy car before. I cant even imagine the number of wasted talents in Nigeria

I am arsenal fan and I commend Ade on his great performance today. He has the right to celebrate any way he deems fit but the guy is unprofessional and lacks class.

Anyone who's kicked the round leather before will tell you PES is more like it. FIFA was it till PES

I've been trying to explain that to these guys but they prefer to kick around plastic balloon balls instead of leather.

FIFA have improved all those since 2008. . . . . . .
There's no game out there as close as REALISM as FIFA 09.
Why not swallow a bit of pride and try playing it for 1 week. . . . .I have noticed fans of PES quickly dismiss FIFA as they lose the first few games they play on it. Face the challenge instead of backing off.

Here some news for you, I actually started playing Fifa from 98-2009. I played PES 09 for the first time on PS3 and I haven't turned my back since. I rather wait for PES 2010 than play FIFA. Enjoy though!

Everything about FIFA is tight on PS3.
It seems there's no difference on PS2 between FIFA and PES so i won't argue. . . .but on PS3, there's a universe of difference.

There's no marketing hype here. . . . .What you pay is what you get.
Fast connection to anyone anywhere in the world and there's little or no lagging.

I agreed with you already that FIFA online play is better, however online play is not the end all or be all of playing video games.  Remember, there are other modes of play.
I get bored playing FIFA, players run at the same speed, defenders doing dribbles they cant dream of, lack of control, its a joke.  Gameplay on PES is about as close to real soccer as you can get, nice touches, great finishes, tons of sublime moves and tricks, strategy use. Simply put PES is much more intelligent

The online gaming is a disgrace and they have not changed the crowd animation in 10 years.

I have both games for PS3 and I haven't played FIFA 09 since the 1st day I purchased it, actually if you need an extra copy i will be happy to sell it to you otherwise its going into the trash where it belongs.

I have been a PES fan until October 2006 when they made PES 6. . . . .That has to be the biggest scam in the gaming world

U are fixing the wrong game.

FIFA has a lot of advantages over PES, like silky presentation, robust roster, and graphics  but what matters the most is gameplay and if we were to compare Fifa 09 vs PES 09 in this aspect, PES wins hands down.  Fifa is dumbed down for non-soccer fans in a arcade-like manner.

Whoa! the sting from a peppered koboko doesnt even compare to this tongue lashing.

PES is for real soccer enthusiasts, the game play is ridiculously good and that is what counts the most.  FIFA has a much more updated roster of teams/players and the animations are pretty cool, but it feels like an arcade, the game play is unrealistic.

The main reason I started this thread was because I was highly impressed by his attitude on the pitch. To me, the result we received on Sunday summarizes the state of affairs in Nigeria. Sometimes its not how good you are, its how good you want to be. He may not have the been the most skillful player on the pitch but in my eyes he played with the most determination and if the other players adopted the same attitude we would have easily claimed victory.
