As a '5th class' citizen I can name 5 things the government does for me. As a '1st class' citizen name 1 thing you enjoy. I'll wait
Tell me how he is 5th class citizen in his country?

I am sure Ghanaians and South Africans will be happy with what you just said grin
There are too many Nigerians relocating everywhere, and Ghanians/South Africans seem to be the loudest on social media on why they detest Nigerians entering their country. So in my opinion, it's better Nigerians reduce their influx into those countries.

Our people are treated with disdain because a lot of them go to commit crimes.

Let assume that your divide Nigeria.

You will realise that after some years the oduduwa or biafra Nation will inherit the stigma as long as it is the same people that immigrate from there.

Also nobody likes uncontrolled immigration.
Nigerians immigrate anyhow.

Someone earning millions as salary in shell Nigeria is immigrating.
Why?

The Immigration is too much even when It is unnecessary.

It's downgrading the passport.
Thank you very much for this. You hit the nail on the head.

NOOO!!! It means the vehicles are used by Chad, on UN sanctioned deployments..... Is this a UN Rooivalk??

FYI its very easy to verify, I just use Sipri which track nearly all arms transfers in and out of every country

:
Well most of the APC used by UN in Africa is made by them and that's a fact.
So here's how it goes: Chad acquires hundreds of ARA's MRAP from Proforce, which is now being converted by the UN. Simple.

no they don't you muppet.... Those aren't UN vehicles, those are Chadian proforce APCs I believe on UN deployment
Chadian Proforce APC's on UN deployment. So it means UN uses Proforce vehicles in Chad right? Because Proforce made the claim themselves that their vehicles have been used by the UN for a long time now, not today, if you read the link I posted. Why should we believe you without any proof and not Proforce making the claim?

True. This is why we should all insist that we break up Nigeria to save lives. I don't like the idea of living in other people's country forever because the truth of the matter is, they have the right to ask you to leave at anytime. Even if they have managed to give you their citizenship, they can come up with a new immigration and nationality bill or policy that will say, if you don't have ancestral ties to this land, in other words, if you are not an indigenous son or daughter of the soil, you have to leave. Then what do you do then? You will have to leave.

And don't underestimate racism and racial hate. White Nationalists are not smiling. Their numbers are increasing daily all around Europe and in other white nations and many of them don't want Black people in their spaces or faces. They want a racially homogeneous all white nation and I guess that is their right.

Your physical presence can trigger them and they won't mind killing you too because they see you as a lesser human being anyway. They won't care that you are an IT professional and that you have come to make money. In their minds, they are thinking, why can't your Black behind make money back in Africa? Why are you coming to their homelands?

Lastly, never you underestimate other racial groups. Just because the white man gave you a job does not mean they or the society the white man comes from likes you. Don't get it twisted. But some of you white-worshiping Nigerian coons will have to end up learning things the hard way.
The problem with our people is that they travel to many of these countries and are not current on the political climates in some of these countries.
Some Nigerians here in the name of Japa, would likely go to a country like South Africa, whereas many South African citizens see the Nigerians coming into their country as majorly criminals. Yet our people don't care, they'll still flock there. You go to the U.S, you have people there with sentiments like: Why couldn't you build your country back home and why did you flee? You are benefiting from the foundation our forefathers laid. There are many Americans today (white and black) who may likely vote for a Republican in 2024 because they are tired of immigrants coming into their country especially black immigrants. Because black immigrants as a group are not respected no matter how great they are individually simply because of the state of their countries.
So in summary, I encourage people to travel in order to build skills, but in all these, know that you are in a foreign land. The whites are nice of course and racism is way lower than what it was 50 years ago, but considering the state of our nation, are we respected?

To show you some African leaders love to behave like slaves. Looking at the map you will know Nigeria is truly a gaint.
I don't have a problem if it's just one military base. For instance the U.S in Germany. But how can a country have 7 foreign military bases for God's sake?
And see how Nigeria is surrounded by U.S troops from every corner. Cameroon, Chad, and Niger had to run to the U.S for protection against BokoHaram. But tell me, how many BokoHaram have the U.S soilders killed till date?
Chad today has so many terrorists and bandits even with those foreign bases there. It's baffling.

Nigeria's poverty rate by WB says otherwise? Kenya as of 2017, we do pretty much better at 36% - and the curve was descending. A recent figure of 2022 says 18% of Kenyans live below the poverty line. And the ignorance is on them. And you. Migration is part of the human story. What are these national boundary lines anyway? You have Irish and German descendants in the US who migrated here for a better life multiple generations ago. Nigerian descendants down the line would be thankful their great great grandparents came over to the west. And I’ll take the racism in the west over the petty tribalism in Africa every day of the week. Anyhow, I don’t let anyones narrow minded view of human nature affect me. Love my country my big foot. The world is mine
Unfortunately the oyinbos who enslaved our ancestors, whom we are running to now, do not see it that way. They quarrel, but they come together when it benefits their country or when it benefits whites over black. It's thesame way they came together in Berlin in the 19th century to divide Africa among themselves. Frances, Britain, Portugal, etc know when to come together. Everything they did those days to the detriment of your ancestors was to the benefit of their race, countries, descendants, etc and they knew it.

What is so funny is that the so-called comfortable ones are just one instance away from Nigeria happening to them and them being on the streets. Nigeria has zero social contract so once anything happens, you are back to the trenches.
You are an IT guy, what is your plan? Do you intend just working for the white man and having the good life for you and your family until you are 70? Or would you eventually build a software that solves a need in Nigeria even if you control things from abroad or travel around?
Whatever you do you would not be wrong because it's your choice.

Me, I am no IT guy but I'm already in touch with a friend who is into IT and we may solve a need in Delta state (I would take care of marketing and some other stuff), even if we decide not to be based permanently in the country. That's my point.

Chinese are homogenous. Nigerians arent. What do Yorubas, hausas. Fulanis and Igbos have in common? Nigeria can never work.
In that case, we create something we can have in common. It's like asking "what does Ecowas have in common to operate as a body"?

You see the problem with most people In your category on nairaland and at large In this nation Is "Most Of You Never Tasted Poverty In Nigeria" Your parents had It all soft for you. So you won't see any reason to hate or disown your nation. I have noticed this several times. You will hardly see any struggling Nigerian who have been denied of his dreams all because he didn't come from a well planned background showing LOVE to this nation. That's all, You should take It from there....
Hating Nigeria is self hatred as long as Nigeria exist. It does nothing to solve our problems.

No problem, better for them to hate me and I make money than to die in poverty in africa. I am in IT and all the money in IT in Nigeria is from the same wicked "whites". The remote jobs who have it? Whites. Funding money coming to indigenous Nigerian companies, who sent it? Whites. So I rather they hate me and I am making it o than to stay with those who love me and die grin grin
I added to the comment you quoted. Travelling is good, I recommend it. But the responsibility is on us to make our Nation work. Constant complaints about our Nation to foreigners would only make them laugh at us, it does nothing. The hatred for the nation takes us nowhere. No foreigner would fix it for us.

The Chinese once had everyone fleeing. The difference is that they copied everything they saw in the West and replicated in their country the Chinese way. They didn't sit there just complaining or laying out all their problems in Public to foreigners, the way many of our Youths do on Social media these days.

Well everyone is free to travel and of course abroad is good but the thing is: You would always be seen there as a foreigner. The unspoken thought of many citizens in this white countries is: Why can't these blacks stay in their country and make it work?

In some countries they just tolerate the blacks or pretend to be nice. No matter how you hate or denigrate your country, you would never be seen as an American or European. Even African Americans are still struggling to be recognized in America despite their 400 years root.

I am not against travelling, infact I did my masters in Germany and that's one of the best decision I made ever. But this hatred for one's own country is what baffles me.
