Yomieluv: Some ladies like being treated like animals, the more you beat them, the more it seems they like you. Your friend is living in a caged relationship.Abuse is a form of control, after beating her and plumetting her self esteem he is the only person she believes can love her! It is horrible |
Lightening: You are vehemently condeming abuse, yet verbally abusing someone that offered his opinion. What do you think that says about your person? Ponder deeply!I reserve no apologies for someone on a faceless that is suggesting a woman should workout a marriage with a savage that beat a child out of her! None at all! There comes a time where you know every diplomatic means has been exhausted and physically abusing anybody is that time |
Thank you NSTC |
soul_glo: So where is the mutual love in the multiple beatings to the point of beating her unborn child out of her. What excuse could you possibly give for that? Good golly. At this point I am not sure why I still get surprised at the things I read on here.It is a Nigerian problem you here your neighbours wife crying and screaming for help, most will turn a deaf ear saying its a family problem! A man that pushes/shoves his wife can kill her,let alone beating a child out of her! |
@David you posses a brilliant mind and as such if you choose to believe in God it is your right! But even when I was a christian,I always found the way you address people way too aggressive. You are like a christian version of Logicboy! Anyway its a faceless forum why show decorum? @topic when I posted as a christian I castigated atheists on this thread for being in the closet. Now I'm an atheist and I'm out of the closet and currently my eldest sister has been given me cold shoulders. It so sad and I love my family. Life would mean nothing if I lost my family and I'm not talking about anybody supporting me financially! Once you deny Yahweh automatically most religious people turn you to an outcast,I am currently experiencing it and I don't discuss God till someone flings him in my face! |
Lightening: Oh yes I condem that entirely. 5 months old marriage is still on the learning curve. We have not heard the man's side yet o. Issues like this can be oversensationalized by the accusing party. Good marriage is a joint venture between the couple backed by God, the author. While bad marriage is also a collective failure. Man and woman alike long for a peaceful home. Only diligent labor can produce it.Tell me just one thing you need to hear from this man to justify beating his wife! Wow! Some Nigerian men like you are the reason we are viewed like apes worldover! Learning curve my black a$$! Religion has deluded your brains, if God exists why would he standby and watch a man raging like a bull assault his wife? |
tensor777: That's precisely it. I wouldn't advise her to quit just yet. The situation still can be turned around. What can it be turned around to? Abuse is about control and power, unless she is willing to live like a slave the beatings will never stop! Most Nigerians ignore the horrors of physical abuse maybe because we are used to physical abuse from our teachers and seniors back in school. |
SUNNY45: Lightening: I found the advise of the ladies most apt, that is if they are really married and are sure that their hubby has never hit them or that they really walked away from their marriages when it happened.A threat of violence should be enough to end a marriage! How can a woman live in a family unit where her security is continually threatened? It is preposterous and against human norms to dwell in this conditions, unless such an individual is held against their own freewill! |
jaytime: Annulment should not be the last option just yet. Let her pray to God to intervene and change her husband. There is nothing God can not do. I'm sure she loved the guy that's why she married him in the first place. You never can tell, there might more to the husband's abusive nature than meets the eye. Bottom line: Let her PUSH - Pray Untill Something Happens.Religious delusion at its peak,God cannot change an abuser! |
mobuch: So which one is the right godIn 3days I'm trying that out oo I need to loose some weight! |
Hahaha.. Abeg satan call me this night I get questions to ask you jor Some christians are retarded! First it was Joagbaje! Why is it only xtians that receive these satanic calls? |
If your company has no website?, no credibility in the industry I don't bother! Aslo emails like dozzygas@yahoo,gmail or anyother free email hosting site.com will not smell my cv! |
I can only hope, I'll be loved like this when I die! Vivianc you sure were loved by many! RIP #Death is inevitable, concentrate on how you will be remembered after you die# |
Ranchhoddas: conscience is the Holy Spirit, for real?...are u saying that before the Holy Spirit came(pentecost)people did not have consciences? That means Chinese who are predominantly atheists have the Holyspirit? Nigger pleaseeee |
Joshthefirst:Evolution is not atheism! Besides How is a myth about Adam and Eve better than evolution? |
ifyalways: Berem kwusi iju maka foto nwa a biko. She weren't your pal when she was here and alive so why the obsession with her picture now?#word! At least for her family |
RIP Vivianc may your family be consoled! |
ITbomb: On the contrary , Nigerians are lion-hearted but as I always say, Corruption is not the problem of Nigeria, Tribalism has weakened the resolve of any Nigerian to stand up and fight and expose corruption and that is the fundamental problem. You must be a professor! Only sensible post |
Alikaxon: What are you driving at in with this? What do u intend to achieve.Western perception is the least of Nigeria's problem. A gold fish has no hiding place!! |
Nigeria is a lost course! |
gurnam: No matter how good you maintain it....a 20 yrs old aircraft can't be the same as a new aircraft...that is common sense. This statement is illogical, Boeing recently grounded their new aircrafts because of engine faults in high altitude flights! Maintenance elongates the life cycle of an machine |
Happy birthday Joe Agbaje! From an atheist brother...much love |
Divepen: brother wat more can we say than Heaven is realI respect your beliefs! Choose you this day what to belief as for me and my unborn children we belief in humanity, and a fair conscience and reject every notion of all Gods including but not restricted to Yahweh the Isreali local deity! |
To answer your question! Yes I have seen, the CNN shows Zenith tower on Ajose Adeogun regularly on CNN. Anybody that watches inside Africa can confirm my assertion. The main reason for creating this response is when I noticed that the covert aim of your thread is to present CNN\BBC and invariable the whole west as biased towards Africa and Nigeria in particular. This your position is misleading and false or unless your handle is being operated by Dr. Doyin Okupe then I might understand the rationale behind such an illogical position. Why should CNN/BBC show well-built African house when millions of African kids die of malaria every year? Why should they show well-built African houses when Boko Haram is busy bombing our Northern brothers to smitherings? Remember the Kenyan mall? Simple they have better things that affect majority of Africa's population to show! Majority of Nigeria's population dwell in rural areas, my sister works with PATHS 2 a UK ngo in Enugu state Nigeria. You need to see pictures of people living in Enugu state that dwell in abject poverty, without access to primary healthcare facilities. She goes to villages in Nsukka that houses the University of Nigeria, stays days in hostile environment to provide for Nigerians that were abandoned due to gross government irresponsibility, only for you to sit behind your keyboard to whine about CNN/BBC depicting real facts about Nigeria! Shame on you This reminds me of the hypocritical outbursts of Nigerians when Rick Ross shot a video version of his popular song 'Hold me back' in Maroko! Those videos were real and people in those videos are Nigerians! What was Fashola's response? He destroyed the embarrassment called Maroko settlement instead of improving their lives! Rossike, it seems you think Nigeria is Abuja,Calabar,Lagos,Kano,Kaduna, PH and Enugu! Even in the aformentioned cities there is no access to portable clean water in almost every part of the cities, no steady supply of electricity, security is all but non existent, the road networks are horrible (Sango/Oshodi expressway as a case study) and a lot of kids are hawking in the streets! Also I hope you know that the summation of the geographical areas covered by the aforementioned cities are approximately less than 5% of the whole country CNn/BBC and Rick Ross are the honest ones here, not you, psquare, wizkid,NTA and Dora Akunyili(madam rebranding) that are trying so hard to convince the world that Nigeria is not a hell hole! The early we stop rationalising our national problem, the better our prospects of finding a lasting solution to our problems! |
donroxy: Dude, I don't live a fictitious life , I was an Enumerator for Years and 85% lives in Slum !!Majority of Nigeria's population dwell in rural areas, my sister works with PATHS 2 a UK ngo in Enugu state Nigeria. He ffucking destroyed the embarrassment instead of improving their lives! Op it seems you think Nigeria is Abuja,Calabar,Lagos,Kano,Kaduna, PH and Enugu! Ugosample: @ROSSIKE, No insults please. Let's be mature here... Back to topic... I watched CCTV yesterday, and i was impressed with their delivery. They are presenting the prospects of China to the rest of the world. Why don't we do the same. Raise our media to a standard and protray our prospects to the rest of the world. If you don't dn it, nobody will do it for you. Simple. If we raise NTA to standard that means someone will have to forfeit embezzling funds budgeted for NTA or we have to budget maybe 20billion for NTA so that after the embezzling there'll still be money for the actual project! The enemy is within us! |
adiposus: You should ,we have 'POTENTIALS' thats why the are scared.especially Nigeria,India,China,Brazil and Russis...Its an insult to BRIC nations to write Nigeria in the same sentence with them! bleeped up country where a graduate engineer with 2.1 is paid 20k by an Indian in his home country! Well built house my black a$$!! |
duni04: I guess that's why we have thousands of nigerians queuing up at the gates of western embassies longing to escape from this utopia filled with high rise buildings and gold paved roads. Or the thousands more plying the hot sahara desert to Libya and Europe, to escape the torment of our high rise buildings and gold paved roads. You all should keep living in fool's paradise, Nigeria is a hell hole |
Have you heard of a civil union? There is also legal wedding |
