Short trips and average trips of ₦600-₦1900, I make riders to understand that fuel is scarce so no AC and they all understand. Except for the stubborn ones I on AC for.

Long trips of ₦2500 and above , I on AC for them because i will make profit at the end of trip.

I can't wake up by 3am, suffer to be on the Queue for hours to buy fuel and come and waste it on unprofitable short trips. ...Laiye !!!

Even we wey be Veterans is still trying to figure out how Driver score works.

I never drive for one good week Driver score don dey drop. If I come drive for a whole full month, driver score go turn 25%. Riders dey cancel far distance pick up and Network dey mess up this new rating system.

Bolt no try for this one at all. They need to review it cos is not going to work in a long-term.

Just 2days pere, Driver score don drop.

Bolt is trying to manipulate drivers, moreover, the pricing is still bullshit. The most important factor is "freedom to choose trips"

What do they mean by commission is 20%,Bolt thinks they are talking to dumbos. Booking fee that was ₦20 per ride, all of a sudden they increased to 5% of the ride fare, who does that?

On the pricing, Bolt said, they increased by ₦8., so if you do a trip of roughly 15km. ( the average trip in Lagos) e. g V. I to Yaba.,

The driver makes a net increase of ₦120, less 25%,Bolt still takes ₦30 from the said increase. it still drags down to ₦90.

So all that wahala they added to the app(driver's score) , it's only worth ₦90, Bolt is not serious,


₦90 for christ sakes, NINETY NAIRA, what is ₦90 going to do for you in this economy?

Some people just need to understand that certain jobs or businesses isn't for everybody . You have all sorts of crazy people wanting to drive with uber or bolt, touts, greedy goats and people with all sorts of lousy attitude. You see some begging online that they need a car for uber/bolt and when they get the car, they start complaining about not making enough money to deliver.
They don't make enough money because they are greedy touts who would turn down trips because they think the money will be too small. Some of them are so annoyingly rude to riders, asking all sorts of stu.pid questions when you order a ride and still call them because they'll refuse to call. You order a ride and call the driver's number and the phone is switched off. You can see that driver has arrived on the app, but you can't reach him and he won't call. Some will accumulate so much poor rating due to nasty attitude and then get blocked by bolt/uber. Then they come online to complain and lie about how they were unjustly blocked. They won't be able to deliver to the car owner because they are always turning down orders due to greed and overcalculation.
These are the types that create threads everywhere complaining about bolt/uber while other people doing same business are cashing out because they are well behaved, patient and know how to relate professionally. Some are so good that have met customers who hire them on offline trips and pay well.
When you hear about certain jobs or businesses, don't just jump into it. You need to use your head and look out for the qualities to posses to do such jobs or business. People generally need to learn how to be well behaved and this nonsense is very common with bolt drivers especially. Very nasty behaviour.

Dropped the rider and waited for sometime, no request, then I decided to go to Lekki. Got to Pinnacle junction, the queue was very small. Na so I enter. I didn't even spend 10 mins there. I fill tank. I come dey reason say I for carry gallon for Gen. When I enter Yaba again in the afternoon, most of the filling stations on Herbert Macaulay way no open. Even MRS wey open for sabo, the queue no be small

Avoid MRS filling stations for now. If u don't want to buy contaminated fuel

We enroute back to oniru. And on getting to 2nd RA this lady asked me to make a U-turn at the traffic light... I didn't even know what happened as if this lady charmed me na so I go make the wrong turn instead of going straight to turn towards the road that leads to that Pep...(something filling station) come and see how all those lasma officers dem rush me... Carry phone dey snap, d once trying to open my doors, 2 standing in front, 1 asking me to wind down from the left and another on my right... I just kept my cool and this stupid girl was still asking what happened!!!

Me: can you just keep quiet! You asked me to turn for reason I don't even know... na me loose guard shall...
Me: this turn is for those coming in from lekki ph1 ours is the 2bd one in front.

The way my car is designed the driver don't need to central lock or open from his side once a passenger pulls the knob in the door the 2 doors on the side they open will automatically open leaving the other 2 doors on the opposite sides locked and if the driver does likewise all the 4doors will open.

Me: May be we have to beg them, but this guys don't listen to abeg... If I open the doors now they'll take us to their office straight.

Sometimes these law enforcement agencies needs a little bit of stubborness, especially when one commits traffic offence unintentionally. Acting like a gentleman to them most times, doesnt always end well, the experience is usually unpleasant. They take advantage of that to harass, intimidate and extort money from people.

3 things INdriver needs to do to Become number 1

1. Stop riders from editing minimum price to ridiculous cheap price.

2. Trip request should be open to maximum of 5 closest drivers in a particular location. This will make bidding and getting offer accepted by riders easier. Anything from 6 drivers and above contesting for a trip request is usually tedious on earning and performance of driver

3. Do aggressive advert and create awareness.
