I am a realist and if you want to ask me to spend my life with you and bring kids into then you have to show me a practical and long term plan on how you intend to achieve that we all have enjoy comfort and don't beg from hand to mouth .

Its important to plan the first few years of ones marital life with on what is already on ground and not air and mist.

This includes child planning and so on

If money enters your hands during those first few years don't spend lavishely but use it keep living low and invest the money on assets.

it is based on the income from those assets you can increase your standard of living not when you get a salary raise or a gift from your uncle.

Jesus fulfilled all the requirements.

Jesus did what Adam couldn't do. He lived and died a perfect man.
But because he was perfect when he died , death couldn't hold him. It had no right to perfect blood. The curse for sin had no power over perfect blood.

So he couldn't stay dead and so he rose from the dead.

while on earth , Jesus also came to teach Gods creation how to walk in the original dominion Adam had before he fell and everything including the waters, wild animals and the earth rebelled against man.

That was how he was able to perform miracles , walk on water, multiply food and feed thousands.

That knowledge and power is still available today for those who seek it.

For us christians living in the world right now, we are in enemy territory.
Remember Satan and his demons took over control when Adam sold his authority. just like book haram took control of sambisa forest and certain northern villages and forced everyone to serve their purposes.

Imagine living in enemy territory and living like a king. Yeah that's the power available to born again Christians who know how to access this power. Some Christians are still living in bondage unfortunately. Bondage of their mind. They are free in Christ but their mind is bound.

For those who aren't born again Christians they may not be able to withstand Satan and his cohorts ( demons and humans ) having a field day with them, Their lives and children.

Prayer works. Very powerful. I'm a living witness to the power multiple times in my life.

Prayer and living a righteous life can change Nigeria, prayer can change the world too

However do not think our common enemy (Satan ) would just sit down and watch. since he controls a lot of things he would fight tooth and nail. He really has nothing to loose. He has lost already . So he would destroy as much as he can before his final defeat and destruction.

It might seem like he has the upper hand because darkness keeps covering the earth.

There is gross darkness, but light will shine through Always.

If you happen to work in the ivy-league corporate firms on Lagos Island e.g Templars, Aelex, Banwo and Ighodalo etc., you will love the profession. But you must have distinguished yourself in academics for you to be considered e.g a first class in Uni or Law School.
But the litigation firms will task you. And many of them without corporate appeal pay peanuts. But litigation is a time- rewarding venture, as you hone your skills in advocacy, clients will pursue you. Many insist ADR is the real thing but I believe Nigerians are not conciliatory by nature. It still get tied up in court litigation.

P.S. I am a Lawyer, completed NYSC this year, and I am yet to get a law firm in which to practice. Please help my life, I believe my helper is here. I want to work in 2019. God bless you as you help me

I don't think they would mind free services instead of sitting at home and hoping for bread

As for those big firms it is mainly their friends kids that rise within the firm

seriously these questions you are asking should have been asked 2- 3yrs ago while you were still In year 2or 3 and still comfortably being fed by your parents. I'm guessing you were still being freaked about wearing black and white in the uni?

Anyway its isn't too late right now .

For about 80% of young wigs in especially those who dont have rich parents, the first few years are filled with back breaking work and very little pay
If you are smart maybe after 5years you hit it big and begin to live well. The work doesn't get any easier but it standard of living gets better.

secondly I doubt any top lawyer in Nigeria today didn't get their hands soiled or do dirty work for corrupt billionaires or politicians.

Most young lawyers I know have a side hustle. Even if its against the rules of the profession, the jobs they get at firms pay peanuts.

so you have two options:
1: start a side hustle now in your final year. this one year before law school will be a time you can comfortably grow one without the stress of financial needs popping up. At least you still dey chop mama thank you.
If your side hustle peaks, abandon law school next year. Let it grow point you can put people in charge of it to finish your education.

That's is if you are really desperate for money and can't be patient enough to pay the price of hustling for a few years before your big break.

2 if you are really passionate about law you might have to figure out how to either run your business and law school together or just go through law school and focus on getting good grades.

Whatever you chose to do now start building CONNECTIONS IS VERY IMPORTANT. In Nigeria na the koko

Get mentors now .

There are some lawyers in Nigeria who will be willing to advice you based on their own experiences.

The second is hard work and focus.

Most lawyers stay poor and miserable because they can't think outside the box and can't work smart.
So they blame the system and everything within it.
They forget that life isn't fair and the days of oppressing people with your white and black on campus are over.

Its a dog eat dog world and only the most resilient survive.

So you better act fast.

The most important thing is to always pray

pray for wisdom to make the right choices

pray for the right connections to 'waltz' into your life ( like king David ) and also be ready to deliver and show you abilities.

Pray for strength to never give up on the hustle

and finally pray for opportunities to come with little efforts or no lip service.

God is not a fool, he knows man and His treacherous soul more than anyone ever. He sees how they build multi billion stadiums across the world and spend their lifetime chanting and hailing football stars but remember industries and poor people when same is done for him.

The truth is God built an entire human race for self glory, an entire league of Angels was adorned to praise Him. Whether you like it or not that is who He his. Our ambitions, economy, vision is expected to be secondary to our Worship of Him.

My life philosophy is this Nothing must be built that has never been built for God God doesn't mind his worshippers raising praises for him at Wembley stadium or O2Arena.

A truth that transcends scripture is this, whenever something good is done in God's name he seems to appreciate and accept it despite the political incorrectness. The expensive perfume used on Jesus is another example.

This is the most sensible post on this forum. Setting up a bottle water factory or a handkerchief factory after the edifice wouldn't be a bad idea. This would employ thousands of their members. All moribund factories and warehouses have been taken over by churches especially in lagos. Guinness road, in oba akran road , etc which were once famous for factories and warehouses have been taken over by churches. Do members get a new lease of life for setting up such churches or they're set up for the daddies and mummies in the Lord, who would keep amassing suvs and mansions both home and abroad for themselves and families. Acts 7:48 says it all... that God doesn't live in a building or mansion built with hands rather, He lives in our heart and that's why he said...son, give me your heart(not your building or material wealth that would soon be a passing whim) . He called David a man after His heart( not after God's buildings). It's high time churches began viable programmes that would create employment and turn our economy around.
