 1. People will be fasting for anointing not knowing that anointing is a burden. 2. The calling in many cases is unmerited. People who weren't asking for gifts received it in large amounts because of the urgency of the job God wants to use them for. I have seen people who haven't been baptised or know jack in the scriptures curing sick people and prophesying mightyly. I Have seen fathers in ministry side by side by side with their sons. The son who is a 'toddler' is doing signs and wonders. The Saul/ David effect. But he must still respect his father. You can be praying for anointing in a ministry God didn't send you to. My brother you have just gone on hunger strike and will shi.t blood tire. Imagine Peter praying for a noting to preach to the gentiles. Consistency is key for strength in the place of prayer not hunger strike fasting. |

If it is your portion in life to read and collect books, good for you, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world must share your upside down obsession with Rochas and other people reading and collect books
I don't even get how the man siting in a meeting with his children turned into silly and absurd colomental rubbish about books.
You people need to find something better to worry your heads over instead of dwelling on petty rubbish that doesn't make any sense. Seriously, Nigerians deserve the dumb and stupid leaders they get. Ciao. |

plaindealer: The fact that you read books doesn't make you a book collector. There's a difference between reading books and book collector.
Bill Gates is not a book collector and he doesn't collect books to sell. But he probably has a library or study filled with books he has and will read. That was what the other guy was pointing out. We all know most naija politicians don't read. That's why you will find more hotels in state capitals that standard bookshops. |

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Gave Me A Deadline To Break Up by generationz(f): 7:28pm On Oct 03, 2019 |
Mensah007: I had to open another account to post this. Me and my gf graduated from the school and are currently serving. I'm serving in Lagos while she is in abuja. She was actually redeployed from a far north state to abuja with money by her parents. We re both in our mid 20s, We love each other so much and would like to marry asap if money comes. After we graduated from Uniben, she persuaded me to go over with her to abuja and search for greener pasture, i made frantic calls in attempts to secure a place to squat over there but to no avail, I had no relatives there and d few friends I have there aren't that close. I later had to go over to Lagos to hustle because i have a few relatives there. Even while i was in Lagos she was still insisting i come over to abuja, reasons that abuja is a more lucrative city. I truly agree to that fact but i seriously have nobody to squat with and I have nobody at all in abuja, not even been to abuja before. At a time she managed to convince one of her mum's sales boys to take me in in his room but the guy disappointed at the last minute so I had to stay back.
Nysc came, I'm serving in Lagos, she was posted to Kebbi and later redeployed to Abuja. While in camp too, I tried redeploying to abuja on health grounds but I was redeployed bk to Edo state so i had to cancel the application and stay bk. She has been hampering that i redeploy to Abuja but i don't have the 50k fee to pay.
I'm now in Lagos serving in a school, during the holidays i always go out to look for a good job or a good hustle to do. I wasted transport fares and stress attending interviews daily and meeting people but nothing came out yet. Though i did one gig BA job and im yet to get paid. She is still insisting im lazy nd wasting away in Lagos nd i should come over to Abuja. I would like to add that I saw myself thru school with supports from my parents so I'm not lazy. One regret I have is that the hustles i did in uniben are not long term and can't be moved to Lagos. My plan is to find a good job or good hustle and ghost nysc . Im also looking forward to saving to buy a good laptop and starting online business because i have learnt a lot on Nairaland although saving 80k from 19,800 salary might take time.
I have managed to secure a room in a flat where im staying currently, I have resigned myself to be teaching in my ppa for the meantime and still be looking out . She recently became more persistent about the abuja move and gave me few days to come over or forget about her. She initially proposed to pay 50k for d relocation lobbying but relocation for my batch isn't possible until October ending. She however insist i must be in abuja this Saturday. I have been thinking about this all week, i don't know anybody in abuja, I don't have accommodation there, how do i do my clearance in Lagos if I move, I don't even have money so I will live off her benevolence till I find something doing. Had it been i have a sure hustle/job to take up in abuja, i can make the sacrifice and leave my apartment in Lagos here. I'm just confused. I need advice please Is she naturally a choleric/controlling person? If not she is not telling you something. It's not like she has a ready made job/accommodation for you there. How can Abuja be better than Lagos for jobs? Except you have connection with a plothiefcian I don't see how there is any guarantee for job there. Ask her to tell you what is really on her mind. If she keeps putting pressure on you without securing a good job and accommodation for you tell her she should forget the relationship. Trust me in the next five years you will look back and laugh at how seriously you carried relationship matter on your head. |

Saao: divorce? No it's against my faith and don't want my Kid to be without her mum. If you can't divorce her get a maid or do it yourself. You'll have to take this as your cross. Every marriage has it's cross people aren't just talking. When you have kids train them with an iron fist on how to care for the home and before they even become teenagers withdraw the services of a maid. This will make cooking and cleaning a part of them and they will not end up like their mom. |

Business › Re: Making Regular Income Publishing Amazon Kindle Ebooks by generationz(f): 8:15pm On Oct 01, 2019 |
HeliosHay: People seem to be getting this confused so I'll try and clear this up.
When you publish on Amazon KDP you have a choice to earn 70% royalty or 35% royalty. How much royalty you earn with kindle books depend on the price of your book. If its between $2.99 and $9.99 then you earn 70%. Anything outside of that range and you earn 35%.
Now let's assume that you price your book to earn 70% royalty and the cumulative sum you earn in a month is $1000 (70% of total sales)
If you publish from a country that doesn't have tax treaty with the USA, then Amazon will take out 30% for withholding tax
So you will have $700 paid into your Payoneer account
You get $700. Thanks for the explanation. |

realitybaba123: hello guys,i am so down emotionally right now and i think i need to share this to at least hear your advice too i met this lady during my service year, and we have been so cool together,i love her so much and she loves me too..fast forward to this year,i took her home to meet my parent, and they really like her so much, that my mom confessed her spirit works with her,my mom and i went to her pastor and we prayed about her, pastor said shes good and we are cool together,i gave her name to my bro and sis to help me pray about it too ,they said we are cool together. Her mom called her she wants to meet me,but before that she should send my name to her, which she did,i just called her sometimes last week and i can feel shes not sounding well from her voice,i asked her what happens and she said her mom said where she went to,they told her we are not good together,i was so surprised and asked her if God has becomes two...because i think we were suppose to hear the same thing all over...now her mom keeps telling her she should breakup with me,and that she doesnt want to hear anything about me agaiin...she has been so down and said nothing can make her breakup with me..please guys, kindly advice, what do you think we can do in this kind of situation..i am so tired and depressed already please matured mind should only advice here...if you have never been in my shoes, you will not understand what am passing through right now It is a pity your girlfriend can't pray for herself but has to depend on someone her mother knows to give spiritual revelation. This is how people miss out on good things. Tell your girlfriend this is coming from someone who has experience in the field of prayer.i Before you go to meet anyone make sure you pray yourself and receive the answer. Going to two or three pastors and asking your parents to pray on your behalf is just for confirmation. That is why they are called witnesses. Sometimes some revelations are so clear you don't even need confirmation from anybody. |
