To think that with all those qualifications and yet they cannot understand the difference between the old and new covenant in the Bible. Indeed religion blocks your mind to critical thinking. So you claim spirit for common things which basic knowledge can reveal

petra1:
He is the father of everyone who is of faith .

It’s from Abrahamic under abrahamic covenant we first learned of tithing . It came before the law . We are not children of law but children of Faith of Abraham .

Romans 4:16
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

The book of Hebrews only emphasized that the priesthood of Melchizedek in the days of Abraham was higher than the priesthood of Levi .

He added 2 more tithes for the Jews making it 3

Tithe and offerings are spiritual Oblations

My guy, u r just repeating what your pastors told you. See read the Bible yourself to get more insight.
When Abraham gave melchizedek tithe was his name Abram or Abraham ie did he have a covenant with God or not as at that time? Food for thought.
What happened to the remaining 90.%? Do you return your 90% back to your employers? Was Abraham fruitful already before giving that tithe? Was it money? Was it Monthly? Was it from his wealth?
Pls I beg of you read your bible. If you do you will realize that paying tithe is a sin.

Our greatest mistake in life as Christians, will be and has always been, walking without the help and leading of the Spirit. Anyone who walks with and in the Spirit, will always be victorious.
In you, I see why the Spirit is restraining me from making any further comment over this issue
Please, find those in your class and grade to banter with over tithing. I'm done with it.

LOL.. Spirit ko spirit ni.. That your spirit does not even know common book talk less of understanding simple Bible. U need knowledge after which you should repent and ask God for forgiveness. If u understood the letter, you would have known that tithing is the letter.. But mbanu, you are possessed by a spirit that does not know book talk less of Bible.

Read this small piece and learn. Mr letter kills and spirit gives life. De quote wetin ur illiterate pastor or Bible school de tell you.

Question: "What does it mean that the letter kills, but the spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6)?"

Answer: Second Corinthians 3:6 says, “He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” With these words, Paul summarizes the key difference between the Old and New Testaments: the first covenant was based on obedience to the written law (the “letter”), but the second covenant is based on the blood of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

There are two parts to this answer, as we look at both the letter and the Spirit.

First, what does Paul mean by “the letter kills”? Simply that the Old Testament Law, which is good and perfect (Psalm 19:7), reveals all people as law-breakers (Galatians 3:10). The law “kills” in that the penalty for breaking God’s law is eternal death in hell (Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:. As God told Moses the lawgiver, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book” (Exodus 32:33). Even if you sin only once in your whole life, it’s the same as breaking all of God’s laws (James 2:10), just as breaking only one link in a chain breaks the whole chain.

The written law—“the letter”—was chiseled in stone by the finger of God and is the unchanging standard by which all are judged. The law cannot give us righteousness or eternal life in heaven (Galatians 2:16). It can only condemn us as sinners, and the sentence is death. Heaven is where perfection is required (Matthew 5:20, 48; 19:16–21), and “the law made nothing perfect” (Hebrews 7:19).

Second, what does Paul mean by “the Spirit gives life”? Simply that the Holy Spirit rescues us from our hopeless situation. God saves us from death and grants us eternal life when we are born again through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit” (John 3:6), and, later, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are Spirit and they are life” (John 6:63).

The Holy Spirit was active in the Incarnation of our Savior (Luke 1:35). It was through the Holy Spirit that Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice to God for our sins (Hebrews 9:14). The Spirit is the cause of the new birth (John 3:3–. It is the Spirit who lives in believers (John 14:17), seals them (Ephesians 1:13), and sanctifies them (Romans 15:16).

Jesus came to give us an abundant life, or life “to the full” (John 10:10). The Holy Spirit living in believers is how Jesus fulfills that promise. The abundant Christian life is marked by the fruit of the Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22–23). The Old Testament Law could not produce any of that fruit; only the Holy Spirit can, as He lives in us.

The Spirit gives life in that He enables us to reach God’s ultimate goal for us, to be transformed into the glorious image of God’s own Son (2 Corinthians 3:18; also see Romans 8:28–30). Until the day that we see Christ, the Spirit intercedes with God on our behalf, ensuring our continued forgiveness and preserving the promise of God (Romans 8:26–27).

“The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6). Elsewhere, Paul teaches the same truth: “But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code” (Romans 7:6).

Hitman 2's gameplay is similar to that of the previous installment, being an action-adventure stealth-based game, as players control Agent 47, a contract assassin working for the International Contract Agency (ICA). he travels to various locations around the globe to eliminate high-profile criminal targets. The game features eight missions, which are set in distinct locations. Summarily, the missions of the game take place (in order) on Hawke's Bay in New Zealand; at a racetrack in Miami; the fictional area of Santa Fortuna in Colombia; the slums of Mumbai; a fictional Vermont suburb; the fictional Isle of Sgàil somewhere in the North Atlantic; the fictional Milton-Fitzpatrick bank in New York City; and the fictional Haven Island resort in the Maldives.
Let's talk about the first mission at Hawke's bay

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZgcq69ADRk

Hawke’s Bay mission
The mission begins as a straightforward infiltration job on the beach house of terrorist cell leader Alma Reynard. You’re there looking for information on the “shadow client” – the mysterious figure who orchestrated all of 47’s contracts in the previous game. Though it’s not long before it escalates to a full-on assassination mission when Alma returns to the house to lay low after a recent job.

A handful of tutorial popups will first guide you towards the house and show you how to break in. From there you’ll have a chance to wander around, learning a little more about the less-than-tasteful activities Alma and her cell get up to. Once you access the computer that triggers the return of Alma, her lover Orson Mills and her security entourage.

Once the deed is done, sneaking back out to make your escape can be a little tricky due to all of the guards. If they’ve found your boat, you’ll need to make a distraction to lure them away – if not, you have to kill them too.

Why I love hitman 2 is that there are many ways to execute your mission. Killing Alma Reynard in this case requires you to study the environment and decide which option to take.
To kill Alma reynard
1.you can strangle her and her lover at the bathroom
2.you can poison her drink with lethal poison
3.you can suffocate her while she sleeps
4.you can pursue her, scare her and she will commit suicide by drowning
5.you can poison the ventilation system
And many more. As you can see, the choice is yours but the objective is more to eliminate her and escape unnoticed.
Finally, the array of weaponry at your disposal is so exciting. From stealth guns, rifles to loud shotguns, swords, grenade, knifes etc. You can even eliminate mission targets with non lethal instruments like a screwdriver.. Lol

My friend, on other social media platforms, I have said alot over this, for more than 3yrs now.
I really would have loved to engage you or any other person on this issue, but on the inside of me, there is a very serious urge for restraint.
I know where you are coming from and i know you likes and have dealt with them then
I will not like to go any further on this issue
All I want to tell you, is simply be a man or Christian that is of the Spirit rather than letters. For the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life. 2 Cor.3;6

My friend, I have read all your BS. You sound exactly like the charlatans called pastors. The letter killeth but the spirit gives life. Do you know what the letter is? U think that it means reading letters of the Bible.. Like your dumb pastors.. Now lemme teach you. The letter is the law of Moses. The old covenant laws of sin and death and not letters as in ABC. Read in context next time. Read 2nd cor 3 7-18 to u understand what the letter and spirt are.. Thank me later

THE LEGENDS

New Legend: Loba
Master assassin Revenant has a target on his back. After looking on as Revenant killed her father, Loba became the top thief in the Outlands. Now she’s appeared to pursue her revenge. And appearing unexpectedly is what she does best. Loba uses her Jump-Drive powered bracelet to teleport to hard-to-reach places. Add that to her uncanny knack for finding hidden treasures, and she’s a formidable (and fashionable) addition to any squad.

Revenant
A human-hitman turned into a nightmare simulacrum, Revenant has been dealing death for centuries. Now his synthetics sights are set on the company that created him and any Legends who cross his path. He can disable other Legends’ abilities and even rescue his squadmates from death itself -- as long they’re useful to him.

Crypto
Crypto is a brilliant hacker with plenty of secrets to keep. He uses specialized surveillance drones to stay in the fight and out of the spotlight. Cool, calm, and collected, Crypto won’t ever break a sweat -- but approach with caution, because he’s got a purpose behind the hacks.

Wattson
Daughter of the Apex Games’ lead electrical engineer, Wattson discovered her passion for electricity by studying her father’s manuals as a child. Although she may be distracted one moment and hyper-focused the next, she’s not one to underestimate in the arena.

Octane
Octavio Silva is an adrenaline junkie that entertains himself by performing death-defying stunts and posting holovids of them for his fans to gawk over. One day, Octavio decided petty online stunts weren’t enough: the ultimate adrenaline rush, the Apex Games, was calling. Now, he’s going to become an Apex Champion doing the most incredible, death-defying moves anyone’s ever seen.

Bloodhound
Bloodhound is known across the Outlands as one of the greatest game hunters the Frontier has ever seen – and that’s about all anyone knows. Bloodhound’s unparalleled tracking skills are a boon to any team they join, helping them root out hidden opponents and tracking the enemy’s movements. Bloodhound’s tactical and ultimate abilities make them a dangerous opponent in the Apex Games.

Bangalore
Born into a military family where she, her parents, and her four older brothers all served in the IMC Armed Forces, Bangalore has been an exceptional soldier since she was young. She is the offensive powerhouse you want on your squad. With her Smoke Launcher and Rolling Thunder artillery strike, Bangalore is a force to be reckoned with in King’s Canyon.

Wraith
Phasing between dimensions has shown Wraith the outcome of every single choice. A side effect of the technology, the voices in her head will warn her of incoming danger. By dropping Into the Void, she is rendered nearly undetectable while avoiding all damage. With enough energy, she can even open a dimensional rift linking two portals.

Lifeline
Better known as Lifeline, Ajay Che has devoted her life to helping those in need. This combat medic is the ultimate support element to any squad. Her healing drone is key during intense fire fights and her care package is perfect for getting your squad the best gear. Though small in stature, Lifeline’s always down for a fight.

Pathfinder
A scouting specialist, this modified worker bot can use his grappling hook to easily get the drop on enemies and access hard to reach places. Pathfinder can also hack survey beacons to reveal the next ring location and his zipline gun can provide your squad with a quick escape out of a dangerous situation.

Gibraltar
Gibraltar’s presence on the arena floor can always be felt, in both his might and personality. A gentle giant at heart, he lives by the SARAS search and rescue motto: to be the shield for those in need. Whether its dropping his protective dome, taking fire with his gun shield or unleashing his devastating orbital strike; you’ll be happy when he is in your squad.

Mirage
Mirage doesn’t take himself too seriously, but don’t be fooled, he is a master of deception. Equipped with the most advanced holographic technology, his illusions can trick even the most focused competitors. Mirage is now the life of the Apex Games, outwitting opponents and charming audiences across the Outlands.

Caustic
They say not all Legends are heroes and that’s truly evident with Caustic. Many would call Caustic a sociopath. Immune to his own chemicals, he calmly stalks his subjects. His toxic gas traps and grenades can quickly ambush an entire squad.

Hi guys, I need an Uber or bolt trained driver to put on rental. Am in Abuja. Hyundai elantra

sreamsense:
Rubbish talk! Are you holier than people you are abusing or you are even worse? Talking is cheap, anybody can talk. If you know they are not doing well, why not try and setup your own church and correct all the anomalies you observed Mr perfect master? You read and quote Bible but you are blind.

Even Jesus the owner of the church warned his disciples what will happen in the end time; he already foresaw that sins shall multiply and false prophets will arise from churches, but Jesus never told you to leave the church or stop fellowshipping with brethren. Let the bad and good people be growing together, the time of reckoning is comming:

Matthew 24:10-12 “And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

Just measure up your life with spiritual thermometer by taking your spiritual temperature reading. It is cold, I guess! why? because of lawlessness you see in the churches? because of false prophets in the churches? because of increase in crime rate?

"So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—"
Matthew 24:15

My brother, you are not the first person to observe many wrong doing in and outside the church, Jesus prophesied it many years ago that they will happen, but didn't tell you to leave church as the solution. You are only one of the foolish virgins in the Bible if you allow yourselves to become cold and lukewarm because of what is going on. Read Mattheu chapter 24 or Mark 13

None of the pastor's is accountable to you, leave judgement to God and face your own life issue. And if you think you can correct all anomalies you assumed, be involved practically in the church service and correct the anomalies instead of staying afar just to cast aspersion and talk theory.

Your being "cold" because of all these your assumed anomalies you see in the church is a sign that you have spiritual problem yourself which you should deal with first instead of correcting others. Remove the logs in your own eye first before you help others to remove theirs.

Oga, seems you are the only one here that doesn't know what Christianity is all about. And you don't know what a church is. You think it's a place people go to worship on Sunday. You aren't also aware that we are allowed to judge.. Even angels.i don't blame you really, u only spewed what ur pastors told you

CodeTemplar:
We gave to God what's God's(tithe) and to Caesar what's Caesar's(tax) so why should what God's be used to service Caesar's responsibility? Charity like these are for people like freeze

Guy they have fingered ur brain to think that tithe is more important than charity. Are u aware that giving to charity is a must for u to enter heaven.. Matt 25:31-46.
Are u aware that there is no place in the Bible where Christians gave or received tithe?
Are u aware that the only way to give to God is giving to charity?

zionmde:
Thats encouraging.

When will Daddy freeze share food to all his children or are they waiting for tithe payers' money?

Does daddyfreeze collect tithe and offering from members of his church? Oboy use ur brain na

Goodday all. How did u guys get 3yrs audited bank statement?

DWJOBScom:
There will always be the poor in your midst Jesus scolded Judas when you spoke like you just did and not as if we are even helping the poor self BUT Obey the important one - tithe and still help the poor.

The money to you is not even enough for you to even pay the tithe or give to the poor

Are u okay? Even Jesus in matt 23:23 said tithe is less important but u are saying otherwise

IamgratefulLord:
Pay y0ur tithe dear! No man can Rob God!!

What a hungry god that needs money.. It's confirmed that the God you guys worship is different from yahweh. U guys worship the God of this world 2 cor 4:4

ur knowledge of word of God is amazing. I love u bro

The Bible supports Giving to who? Pastors? Read Matt 25:31-46 check if ull see pastors there

I disagree with you. I am a Management Consultant in the IT industry. Everybody has their roles in every society. It's immature to say one profession is better than the other.

Do you problems with Pastore? If yes, God will help you, but if no, hatred kills faster than sickness. Leave Men of God alone and face your life wahala.

He that has ears to hear let him hear.

Sheeple spotted

Chinwees:
Wow... Congrats sir and ma.
Meanwhile Daddy Freeze and pastor bashers who instead of growing their Christian life are hell bent on insulting pastors cannot keep 5 years marriage.

And for those asking why pastors didn't predict the coronavirus.. When Jesus was here on earth, did he spend his time predicting the fall of the Roman Empire? Or the massive persecution by Nero? (He did talk about persecution) but Pastors are not there for predicting, pastors serve as guides to the spiritual needs of Christians. If you have met a fake one or you are one yourself, don't generalize. If you had a bad experience with one, don't generalize. Pastors don't save, Jesus does.

I respect Pastor Paul Enenche so much for his undiluted teachings on Christian living and Holiness. His songs cam move to tears too.

Marriage is only Important here on earth and for the world but is not in heaven. By world standards they have tried but by heavens standards nko.? Besides no Nigerian pastor has healed corona virus yet. What does that tell you? They are all motivational speakers

petra1:
That would be nice . Healing will take place ,Hod will be glorified

Ayt27:
My brother I agree with you, I believe JW were right when they said Christ was not born on 25 Dec, it was a worship of pagans to honor the sun god janus and it was put there to coincide with the festivity of that time. Even birthdays are not celebrated , the two instances of birthdays in the Bible there was a killing at the end. Now all these things of pagan origin but Herod was not a pagan tho.

The core of the matter is , if that day is sanctified unto the LORD by the choice of the believer to the glory of God, then the LORD has no problem with it. It is not lawlessness because man has coined it out as day to honor the LORD e.g Jacob building the Altar and calling it Bethel and still went to that place to worship God after 20 years, same with is father and grandfather.

Ishtar has no hold over the genuine child of God,because Christ has made a mockery of all demi, semi, pagan, god or goddess and made us sit with him in heavenly places, except you don't think all power in Earth and Heaven has been given unto Christ.

Another thing I would like to draw your attention too is that the fact that you are drawing your conclusions from the outside i.e origin of things, being behind the origin , the negative effect it may have on the Christian whereas I am drawing mine from the standard which is what the Bible says.

If the Bible tells me He whom the Son sets free is free indeed and the son has set me free, trust me brah the worship of Ishtar is none of my beeswax. If she has a problem with people corrupting her way of worship she should take it up with the one whom the people have turned to (Jesus) and tell him she doesn't want people stealing her holiday to worship me.

Until then Whatsoever man santifies unto God regardless of it's origin pagan or otherwise it automatically becomes the LORD, na part of the mockery wey Jesus use mock the Powers of this world besides Psalm 24:1 sef dey. So still on still na Bros J still get am

Go home and call your wife the name of your side chick(the one she knows and suspects) . Or go home and buy birthday gifts for your wife on the day your side chick was born. Especially when u know your wife never asked you to celebrate her birthday .. Na that day u ko know say wahala dey.. Even when scriptures have made it clear that our God is a jealous God, you people find a way to mix the world and Christianity.. It's is called syncretism and are comfortable giving lame justifications.. Try it in islam them ko behead you.. Nonsense

Let's stay strong.

We are holding up well.

And this is why.

It's been 6 weeks since the Italian came with COVID.

6 weeks after Italy got their first case they had suffered 10,000 deaths.

We have just 7 dead.

In 6 weeks, Feb 26 - March -April, America went from about 50 cases to almost 500,000 cases.

We are just at 305.

Let me bring it into clearer focus.

On February 28 2020, we had one case. America had 60 confirmed cases.

Today we have 305 but America has about 500,000.

Okay let's use Untited kingdom that is about a third our population.

On February 8, Uk had 16 cases . We had one.

Today Uk has 70,000. We have 305.

We have no reason to panic.

God is on our side but we must not let him down.

Here is why we must not relax.

On February 27 We had one confirmed case and UAE had just 13. Both countries held up well. By March 31 UAE had 611 and we had about 131.

Today UAE of about 10 million people now has 3,360 but We have 305.

Let's be careful.

On March 6, 2020 Spain had just about 365 confirmed cases. Today they have 158,000 with about 15,800 dead.

We are doing well. But we have to keep our eyes on the ball.

Stay safe . God bless you.

Happy Easter

I take exceptions to stuff like thix, why stoop so low to insult the body of Christ. And who told u the church is all about tithing, stop displaying your ignorance and inability to learn openly, tithing is more spiritual than u think ok.

And nothing can stop the church from enlarging, growing and advancing not even the government, corona virus or Bill Gates... Get that into your head.

Nothing can stop the GOSPEL

And who told you tithing is spiritual? Is it not the same pastopreneurs that you revere? Did any Christian in the Bible even pay tithe? Can u mention one? OK, mention any gentile in the Bible that gave tithe

alBHAGDADI:
I recently read that a very popular pastor in Nigeria spoke against the arrest of pastors who disobeyed the social distancing order by the government by holding services of more than 50 people. His argument is that the pastors were arrested just as Jesus and his disciples were arrested for doing what government warned against.

Both instances are quite different from each other. Jesus and his disciples were arrested by the government for upholding God's commandments and testimonies. These pastors on the other hand were arrested for disobeying the government who hasn't stopped them from upholding God's commandments.

The lockdown and social distancing order by the government is not a persecution of Christianity as some are trying to paint it. It is truly what it is - the protection of people which is by curbing the spread of COVID-19.

If some people say Christianity is persecuted because Churches aren't allowed to hold services in the regular manner, what about night clubs, sports stadiums, concert halls, restaurants, buses, schools etc? Can those ones also cry of persecution?

The government is simply trying to protect the citizens by ensuring that the number of people infected with COVID-19 doesn't increase. Perhaps, it's when people start dropping dead that stubborn folks will understand the government's effort.

Any pastor that tries to cramp his church with a crowd is wicked and should be arrested for endangering lives and aiding the spread of the virus.

Some may say "God will protect us, so we must have faith in that by gathering as usual". That is a wrong thing to say because it means you are tempting God. God steps in when there's nothing else you can do to protect yourself. But when you have measures or escape route and still decide to walk into evil because you think God will protect you, then you will be punished.

Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Don't tempt God, obey the government's guidelines towards battling this virus. It is not compulsory you gather in a build before you worship God. You can worship God individually at home because God is everywhere and can see you.

Proverbs 15:3
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

The only time you can disobey government's order as a Christian is when they are telling you to disobey God's word. Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego were told by their government to bow before a statue. They refuse because it was against God's commandment.

Exodus 25:4-5
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

The three young man refused to obey the government's order because it goes against God's word. Then knew the punishment the government would visit then with. They knew God could deliver them from it because they couldn't deliver themselves. The only other way out of the punishment is by disobeying God. They didn't want that route so they trusted in God.

Daniel 3:17
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king
