Hello all, I have gotten my passport and visa. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement.

Lesson: Do not waste your precious time tracking anything. My passport was ready for pick up since Thursday and the tracking Status kept saying not ready for pick up. Now I can book my flight. I love you all.

junkerhill: @Gentiger, I'm nt happy wit the way ur passport is going but all the same let's trust in God and allow him to do His work. I'm not against Femo that ask u to fast but everythin shuld nt be attributed to the dark side of FORCE. My Bible made me to understand that "all things work together for good of them that believe". So having not got ur visa myt be spoiling somtins for u or even delayn u from meeting up to a particular appointment but if God shuld open ur eyes to see the future, he is preparing somting better for u or even protecting u from som mistakes or danger.
This was what happened to me the day I was filling my DS-230 form. I made several mistakes and spent days just to fill a form. My mind kept telling me that God has a perfect plan for me, it was later that I found out that all those delay and mistakes was cos of Chirpywest cos It was d day I went to send my form to kcc that I met him. If chirpywest could remember the second thing I told him that day. I told him "so u are the reason why I have been makin all those mistakes". If I hadn't met him that day, I would hav made a costly mistake. If I hadn't met him that day I wouldn't have been aware of this forum. Then without this forum I wonder how my interview wuld be lik.
So my brother, let hope God has a perfect plan for u. Nobody is holdn ur visa but God Himself. Just learn to trust Him and other things will fall into place in due tym and season.

Just checking? Is it also possible to contact the embassy if your pickup date already passed and still no news?

They wrote Friday. I don't know if it's the Friday after my interview or the day before yesterday. I am asked to come tomorrow that it should be ready for collection. While some people collect within 5 working days, some others collect within 10 working days.

femsoj: To God be the glory. This is Oluwafemi posting live from Philadelphia. I left Nigeria on the 31th of Jan and I got to the United state on the first of Febuary. Hoston was by port of entry and another great favour I received from God was that I did not spentmore than 10minutes with the immigration. Someone took me to a room where the envelope was collected from me. My finger print was taken and also my picture. I was told that my green card would be send to me and that I should go the nearest social security office to register for my social security number. That was all. Nobody ask for the immunisation sheet and the x ray envelope I give thanks to the Almigthy God for what he had make me to achieve through the contribution of everyone in this forum and I pray that may everyone in this forum continue to receive the undiluted favour of God.I love you all.

God sent me a message to deliver pls do it. Fasting and prayer bt start .12pm til 1pm read psalm 35 x 3 and pray then fasting and prayer tomorw til 6pm then give begger 50 naira pls tomorw read psalm 23,35,51,107. Throughout tomorw just stay home and pray. I wil pray 4 u and i wil fast 4 u.

Imcool: I guess it can be tracked. I tracked mine and dat of my wife. I did it thru mail by sending each of our international passport numbers(mind u, only d passport number was used as d subject and d same passport number and no other thing was also used as the body of the mail) to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com. Initially d reply was PICKED UP but wen it was a day to d day i was scheduled to come for the visa, i sent d same e.mail and d reply changed to READY FOR PICK UP. My wife went there on the scheduled day wit the white sheet dat i filled @ d back authorizing her to collect on my behalf and she was able to collect our visas.

At the initial stage when I did exactly what you directed, it said picked up. Since then this is the message it displays:

'There is no status update available for the passport number submitted.'

Can someone tell me what's going on?
