Akpos The Comedian Must Read (True Confession By Akpos) I was a Candidate at a JAMB Examination. We were writing Use Of English. I shaded the ones i knew and was waiting for manner to fall from Heaven when i noticed a very beautiful girl sitting beside me. She was shading and was not looking up. Through the help of my long neck, i peeped and checked her work, she was on number 65, i was still on number 21 and time was running out. I quickly thanked God and started shading along with her. We got to number 98 together, suddenly, she looked up, caught me and shouted in a low tone, What are it? Why is you dey copying me? Copys! copys! You is not shaming! As big as you dey! You is a dull boys! You are a disgrace to your manhood. Na so i shout; heeeey! heeeeyyy!!! heeeyyyy!!! I am finished yay, who has eraser eeeehhhh!!!!!!! ! Bad Market..... Happy Weekend Pals. |
ferdimako: Migrant. He won the 2013 edition.@FERDIMAKO...How did you send the tracking command? What did you write and to which site/email address? |
ferdimako: Migrant. He won the 2013 edition. You know the strange thing, when I tracked that passport number you submitted, it said it's not ready for collection. Why would staff at GSS say immigrant visas cannot be tracked? This whole thing is becoming really annoying. |
ferdimako: U can track.I did it for my pal.View the attached.Ferdimako, this your friend you tracked for, was it migrant (DV lottery visa) or non-migrant visa? I'll appreciate a prompt response. Thanks. |
faithman2020: Happy new month to every member of the house. Thanks brother. I'll do that on Monday. I believe so too. The time lost is so disorganizing. |
faithman2020: why don't u go with your WAEC certificate instead |
nkkystel: I did, to info.seagategroup@gmail.comLet me check my bulk mail then. I'll respond as soon as I see it. |
lateefdauda: Alhamdulilahi...Thanks to almighty god for this success. Also greatful to my Nairalanders omiessss.Want to say Thank u very much...Nah gods favour ooooo.interview experince will be shared soon...Congratulations Lateef. I am so happy for you. |
nkkystel: Hello Gentiger, pls I dropped you a mail and haven't heard anything from you.Really? I haven't seen any mail. Pls go to my profile. You'll find the right contact with which to reach me. |

I am glad you said not DV. British visa procedure won't require your physical presence unless of course it's immigrant visa application. America standard procedure demands your physical presence whether it's immigrant or non-immigrant visa application. |
idriez: And this will happen(her interview) without her paying for visa at "first instance"?She'll be cross-examined because the principal winner is claiming her as his spouse. It's a standard procedure. |
ferdimako: They can be interviewed at separate Embassies. They need to inquire though. I have seen a guy interviewed in london while his wife and kid did in lagos.I hate to press so hard to avert a catastrophe. This was how majority of the people here asked that couple to add individuals who weren't in the original eDV application to the DS 230 form. Some even claimed to have seen those who did it and succeeded. Well, the rest is history now. |
Nuru231: I can convinced the CO with my marriage certificate. In you opinion Every couples (husband or wife) must be there even though one of them (the beneficiary)don't want to travel to US,Do as you please. Do not say you were not told. Maximize this once in a life time opportunity. Goodluck buddy!! |
Nuru231: Gentiger, I don't understand what you mean by, "She MUST be physically present"? but I will make interview in Europe. I have to claim married because I'm married, you know I have to fill the truth. what if she can't to appear, why should I loose. I'm the principal. You said you're married, right? To who? How can the CO be convinced you are married without actually interviewing (cross-examining) your wife along side with you? She CAN choose not to travel with you but she CANNOT choose not to be interviewed with you. |
idriez: Gentiger, is this "She's not interviewed again. Her visa is merely issued since the principal has been issued" possible? If affirmative, then people would have been doing that or don't you think so??She'll be interviewed along with her husband at the first instance. That is, their interview if successful is the reason the principal is given a visa. Technically, she already has her visa in principle but not ready to physically collect it since she hasn't furnished the necessary consideration to necessitate immediate issuance. |
Nuru231: Thank you Gentiger, so you mean I can go alone at the very last minute, If I don't pay for her and tell the CO, my wife is not included but latter, the CO will accept? and this doesn't bring a visa deny? That's the correct position of law. She MUST be physically present. For goodness sakes, how can you claim married when your wife cannot be cross-examined for dissenting views? Don't approach the embassy without all your derivatives EXCEPT they are already permanently resident in the US (Green carded) or Citizens of the States. If you try it, others will learn from your mistakes. |
adesojiaderemi@:That's correct, always two sides to a coin. It's always either head or tail. No middle ground. |
adesojiaderemi@:Egbon, ejoo ema binu. I don't mean to tackle you. It hurt me as much as I know it hurts you too to see people denied their visas because they weren't well informed. The case of the family who added their twin after the lottery was played is one of such experiences. Coming here to tell us it was how God wanted it is a soft landing pad. It's purely an act of ignorance and ill-preparation. |

If you are referring to the interview hall I visited a couple of days back, then you are mistake bro. It's one big hall with different windows (Cubicles). If you choose not to pay, no one takes notice until you are the only one sitting awkwardly. Your payment gives you an interview tag number. If the principal applicant pays, he gets the tag. That tag covers every one of his derivatives. It's at the point of his interview he gets to tell the CO his wife is not covered in the payment because she would be coming much later. It's noted down after reasons might have been given. Whenever she's ready which must be before the expiration of the year visa lottery program, she can show up with her payment after she must have written the embassy to indicate her intention to approach. The new appointment given in response to her mail serves as the access key into the embassy. She's not interviewed again. Her visa is merely issued since the principal has been issued. This is the procedure bro. |
adesojiaderemi@:If her name is on the schedule list which I am aware of, that's her access key to the embassy. Payments are made within not without. |
Nuru231: Hey adesojiaderemi@, thank you for replay, I'm sorry, would you please more elaborate what happen to the guy, this experience might help me more. Does he play Married in first; what exactly was his reason during interview, is he already in US, can you provide me his email? Thanks bro.. this is too much for me, I hope u understand me how much I'm frustrated.NURU, I see you as someone who hates to confront the naked truth. Now listen young man, while I do not want to negate Adesoji's views on the matter, I always draw peoples attention to the laid down rules over which CO's do not have discretion. Let me ask you, if you succeed at the interview like you were assured you would, at what time and point will your wife appear for her interview for her Visa issuance having at the back of your mind that DV lottery for each year formally closes 30th of September each year and NO VISA can be issued after then? Change your interview location to Nigeria with KCC, come home and have your interview with your wife. Get your visa and continue your education in the states. Don't embark on fruitless financial exercise. Don't let others learn from your mistake. |
nero xp: @ Gentiger there was an ommision of a letter word lyk dis--NWOGBO instead of NWAOGBO--as u can see..'A' letter was ommited nd dis error is only in my school leavin testimonial, while evry of my documents has de correct spellin...I hav swore an affedavit of fact regardin de omission in a High court.my only worry nw is am I good to go 4 my interview wit only de affedavit or I shuld also publish in de newspaper,is de publication necessary in my own case? You don't need newspaper publication to correct that. Get an affidavit. Do not present it until it becomes an issue. You only need newspaper publication if you are changing a name, introducing a new name or correcting a serious defect in your name. An omission of a letter from your name is no serious defect. It's a typographic error. |
ojisalara: I have done the corrections at the Federal High court and what I was asking is how to get a National Newspaper to publish it, I'm in port Harcourt Nigeria, any one who has publish his name in the Newspaper should help please.Every national daily has advert agencies and liaison offices across the federation. Ask around you in PH. |
I Hate 9ja: @ Nuru.........so na europe u dey......God don butter ur bread o.....the guru'z in the house wld come in soon........u wld hear better from them on wat to doSpoondar has said all the right things to say to NURU. There's nothing more to say. You have two choices: 1. Forfeit the visa and continue your life in Europe because if you dare go to the interview without your legally married wife, YOU WILL BE DENIED VISA and waste the money. 2. Change your place of interview to Nigeria with KCC and return home a week to your interview to attend with your wife. This is THE ONLY guaranteed way to get your visa. The choice is yours to make. |
widelink: HERE IS MY INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE.Congratulations! The new born child brought you a truck load of luck. Please dont name him Goodluck Jonathan except you want him to go thru life shoeless and clueless. |

ferdimako: What of those waiting to know yes or no from KCC, from Software & from May1?The waiting is disorganising my schedules. I have a limited time within which to accept offers of employment. Well, other doors will surely open if I can't get thru this timely. |
