preprewow: Gentiger, i didn't appy with work experiece & I wish i could have applied with my 3 years work experiences in the sector of sales and marketing but instead i was applied with my education qualifications. I ve made a big mistake but Gentiger, can i go with my work experiences on my interview day while they only required my education qualifications?

In your forms to KCC, did you specify the kind of works you've done in the past 6 yrs.? Does the job you did require a specialized training? Did you indeed obtain the training from a reputable institution? Answers to these questions will help us assist you better.

junkerhill: my dear, they have told you what their requirement is which your are short of it. I doubt if you can convince them because their rule or standard is clear. It is either C+ or C- with 2 years diploma or D+ with university cert. And you are yet to acquire either the diploma or the university cert. Nevertheless, I won't advice you to quit but I will advice you to be more fervent in prayer. There is nothing God cannot do. Just ask for God's mercy on the day of your interview. If His mercy be with you on that day, the visa is yours. The members of this family will also be praying for you.

There's a place for prayer and a place for wisdom.I am a believer in the awesome powers of prayers but let's be objective in It's application. Prayers, No matter how fervent won't put manna on the table of a lazy man.

The DV rules are non-discriminatory. It's enforcement is strict unless otherwise specified. If you do not meet the academic requirements for eligibility, your next available options is work experience in which case you must demonstrate you are a skilled professional with at least 2 years of training in a recognized institution. If you cannot demonstrate eligibility based on these two criteria, I fear you may be sowing where you will not reap. Package yourself well for work experience if you got the skills and work experience as a professional. Goodluck.

lets say i don't win the lottery and i have a family friend in the USA that has been there for 11 years now(visa lottery as well)can they invite me over as one of their family members?
my main question is will i be paying the same tuition fees with american citizens or international student tuition fees.

If you arrive the States as a student or visitor, you will pay fees applicable to international students. Until you become a permanent resident or citizen, you will pay what international students pay. If you marry a citizen or a permanent resident in the States as a student, you will need to adjust your status to permanent resident. These are tge options available to you.

ME I TOOK THE LETTER FROM HER I WAS DISAPPOINTED AND LEFT WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. ALTHOUGH I LATER REALIZE I SHUD V GREETED HER. After waiting for 41days, I got a phone from the US embassy that they re tru with the administrative processing on my case that I shud come with my passport and those of my family. I felt I was dreaming. I was there to drop our e-passport and the lady that attended to me did not ask me any question. She just took those Epassport and input some data from it into her system. I was given the Visa pick up form and the instruction on how to pay d 165$ GC fee. House thanku for your support and encouragement. Please do not add family members to your original application if they pre-existed at the time of your eDV application. Read below for information.


Q:  How do I add a family member to my case?

A:  If you would like to add an additional family member to an approved petition stored at NVC, please contact NVC in writing to do so, and provide the petitioner and beneficiary's names and dates of birth, case number, receipt number, and a copy of the birth certificate. To contact NVC by phone, you must call between 7:30 a.m. and midnight, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (EST). It may be easier to reach NVC during the morning. Diversity Visa applicants may add additional family members to their case at the U.S. Consulate on the day of the interview. All normal DV fees apply for this family member. If a pre-existing family member was not listed on your initial electronic DV entry (for instance, if you were already married and/or already had children at the time of your entry, but you forgot to list your spouse and/or children), you will be disqualified at the time of your interview, and your interview fee will not be refunded.

House I need your advice,I need to pay 250k for my house rent this february ending and my landlord have decline collecting six month,though I'm not current yet, and I'm comtemplating travelling after my successful interview what do you suggest I do as regard saving this scarce resources.

My dear, before my interview date, my rent had expired. To avoid unnecessary embarrassment, I moved out to a family property still located within festac town. From there I had my interview and from there I'll be jetting out. Give him 6 months with a promise to come with the balance a month after your anticipated interview date.

Oh my God! Not again. I wish you could scroll back to a previous point in time for an update.

Well, go to a High Court and swear an affidavit for name correction/confirmation /harmonization. Ensure the names of both parents, places of birth and local government areas reflect. When done, take a copy with you to the press house for general public notification. Ensure you buy a copy of the newspaper and take along with you to the embassy.

Everyone here is a guru. Go to the High Court and do confirmation of name. Ensure It's published in a national daily.

Am live @ Atlanta sending this post,i really want to say a very BIG thank u to u all in this forum i got to US on Saturday.my experience ,left MMA1 on saturday 6.50am got to Casablanca morocco on same day by 10.50am ,took another plane to JFK by 12.30pm on Saturday took us 8 hours and touch down @ JFK by 4.50PM America tym,slept over @New York b4 taking another plane DELTA AIRLINE to Atlanta by 8.10am from New York the fligt lasted for 1hour 58 minutes.the weather in New York was verrrrrrry cold but the weather in Atlanta is cold too but not like New York ,as many that re coming to new york shld pls prepare very well and bring good and thick jacket my document was collected @JFK insted of Atlanta the immigration insisted collecting my document said it same process.

It won't be a problem. It's known to be a typographical error. Swear a corrective affidavit at the High Court

Your husband must be present for the interview. Please work it out. It's only a half day stuff.

Why not gather all those cash you would expend on police and offset some of the charges.

Your visa can't be sold. It's a bad market because your visa and e-passport are machine readable. It can only be you or nothing. Rally round and pay them if negotiations have failed.

If your 2NL says you are single without a derivative and your letter and attached documents says you are married, What's would you tell the CO you are? Single or married? Don't forget your forms and all attached documents will be in the bundle sent to the embassy for your interview. Your case is complex. Pray for divine intervention and go for a more elaborate and detailed immigration counsel.

Since you were never married to this individual nor is she your child, you have no legal justification to say she would join you later. All you needed to do was to defer the submission of your forms, marry her, include her as your spouse and send it over to KCC. To write KCC after you've submitted your forms as a single applicant now claiming to be married is viewed as a fraudulent act. That's Why they won't honour your request to add.

How did your passport and sealed envelope get to their possession in the first place? I believe It's personally handed to the principal applicant except otherwise specified. There's little you can do other than to pay up or prayerfully negotiate a downward review. If they tamper with the content of the brown envelope, that would void your green card. You will be denied entry at the port of entry and deported to 9ja.

That's not a problem.Write the embassy and defer the interview to a more appropriate time. Don't fail to specify the reason you gave us as the reason for the deferment.
