i sent Dsp-122 form and DS-230 to KCC IN EARLY JUNE,
I HAVE CALLED FOR AN INTERVIEW IN FEBRUARY, BUT IAM WORRIED ABOUT SOME QUATIONS ABOUT DS-230 THAT I HAVE ALREADY FINISHED.

QUESTION 31.B,IN THE DS 230 I ANSWERED, I WROTE THE NAMES AND ADDRESSES OF MY SIBLINGS INSTEAD OF MY CHILDREN AS I UNDERSTAND.

BECAUSE IAM SINGLE AS I MENTIONED IN QUESTION 9

SO DOES THAT HAVE ANY IMPACT TO MY INTERVIEW?

If you're not already scheduled for an interview, I'll advise you send a corrected form to KCC letting them know your uninformed error. Five credits is minimum eligibility requirement. You are qualified. I do hope you have at least a credit pass either of maths or English, in which case you have nothing to worry about.

Your result is perfectly ok. Most guys who encounter problems are those who don't have both maths and english and O'level being highest qualification.

ferdimako: My guy just told me that the Embassy called him and others back to review their documents oh. His case is that the NPC birth cert he has doesn't have the same signature with earlier people from Jos. Again they were telling other folks of their O'level English and Math not being credit. I will call him back to find out more. Because he was heading to the Embassy today for his second meeting when he should have picked up his visa last Monday.

Very similar to the case we're handling now. I laugh when people ridicule my opinion on result combination, no maths/english saga and so on. With time, I'll encourage these guys to come and tell their story.

Spoondar: That is very sad for her, but its better to say the truth. I know of a guy who applied for the eDv as single but when he sent the forms to KCC he included the wife and son. He was married when he applied but wrote single. At the CO he was asked how come he didnt include them he explained his reasons and voila he is in the US right now with the wife and son. Kindly include your son please.

After a short moment the CO came back called me holding a green paper and I was like........over enjoyed..........She told me n' ma family to register with DHL to get our passports and visas and also welcomed us to USA.

Spoondar, this is an entirely different case scenario. From all I can read from your post, he was not legally married to the woman at the time of eDV application and the girlfriend/fiance was pregnant at the time, meaning he couldn't have listed an unborn child.

If he marries his pregnant fiancee/girlfriend after eDV application for that year is over and subsequently includes her and the new born child as derivatives, that's very logical and possible.

In this other case there was an omission. If she must obtain her visa, she must maintain status quo. She must remain silent on the kid.

If she files for the child after she's settled with her green card in the US, she risks deportation. Her immigration records is already in a database. If she's already a naturalized citizen then files for the child, she risks having her citizenship revoked on the grounds of fraudulent acquisition. In any case, that child must be left out.

What she could do is to travel out, get her papers then return home to legally file for adoption of the kid. She can now file for him to join her ONLY WHEN SHE BECOMES A CITIZEN. I do not counsel this. I am only showing the legal options open to her.

I have tried so hard to seperate EMOTIONS & SENTIMENTS from my posts because I am trained to say things AS THEY ARE and not AS THEY OUGHT TO BE. Others who show emotions mean so well. They are empathic but that can get you into a lot of trouble.

The explanation given by Ifeanyi.Abdul is most reasonable. I can't think of any other reason for the delay other than what he pointed out to above.

That's early enough and quite worrisome. I encourage you not to be worried. Keep your eyes glued to the entrant check page. Yours will definitely land much sooner than you could imagine.

If you are current and are sure you submitted early enough, keep checking the entrant status page. Their notification mail directing you to check for your 2NL may go to your spam folder as a junk mail. Keep your eyes on the entrant status page.

From my observation, 2NL is sent out to all parties simultaneously. If by now it's not there, it may not likely be there until the next release.

My dear friend, you may be current with others but still not receive your 2NL. The major deciding factor is period of submission. Those who submitted early enough will surely have their 2NL immediately. Those who weren't as early as others in submission will usually have a carryover to the next most appropriate date. It's left for you to find out if you did early submission or not.

adzovia: she should add the boy to the forms she will fill and send it to kcc. it does not matter that the child was not included at the initial stage. she should tell the co if she is asked that someone played for her. she wont have an issue

If the child was newly born, it's acceptable. If it's a new entry other than by birth or marriage, chances of automatic disqualification is high. Thread with caution.

I was call at window 8, there i met a local person who request my documents and finger print for both wife and myself.I was then ask to be seated until i was call again. i was call again to window 9 now where i met another local who give me paying slip to pay the cahier. The charge was US330 + US$230= 560. I had only walk with 330 each for me and my wife. I enquire why the additinal 230, i was told it is for processing fee. The woman give me 30min to get additinal money. After i receive the money i join the cashier line to pay. After making payment i was again told to sit an wait for name to call. Finally my name was call. i was interview my a woman.

Me: Yes i am.She then turn to my wife, telling her she like to ask some question.

I will advise you get as many pictures as you can lay hold on. Please don't buy a new album. It will give you away as fraudulent. Since you got grown up children who obviously must share some resemblance with you and your spouse, you are on a safe side. A certain guy was denied because he claimed that his freshly issued B.sc certificate was issued some years back. They have the technology to detect such. Simply say you lost valuable assets over time including pictures if that is your true situation. 2001 is a very long time. If you doubt it ask prisoners serving 11yrs jail term.

We don't have all to agree to what people post, but our differences make us unique. Check out for two prominent names that features in her profile then you'll understand you are dealing with cloned copies of the same antagonists.

These individuals never admit they are wrong when wrong forgetting people truly look up to their advice and opinion to make their all-important decision. Read through my posts since I joined this forum, I am a lone voice because I advise people TO GO THE EXTRA MILE. It's perfectly okay to be a lone voice. You are in trouble when the whole world agrees with you. DV lottery is an opportunity one might never see twice in a life time. I preach caution and due diligence.

Finally I add, most people get denied and you hear from them no more. Some who got denied came in contact with me for solutions if any. You may never know what transpired at the embassy and why I remain consistent in my ways. I have had to refer people to Newspaper publications to dispel some cheap opinions which were not thought through.
