I don't understand why some people think because LP and PDP didn't follow the normal process of calling up witnesses from polling both that they do not have the polling both results and didn't tender it to the tribunal. With the time allotted for the parties to make their case, that would be a waste of time. Those polling both evidence is contained in their written address. Inec and apc hopefully wanted the petitioners to approach the case from that angle so that they would use technicality to kill the case but the petitioners choose to attack from the flank Parachoco: |
From this witness statement, it's obvious LP has the polling both results. Interesting times ahead quote author=IfnobeGod20 post=124102673] I'd there anyone among the presidential candidate, that is bearing Pandora? You people would never have discourse intelligently but prefer to throw bile about and denigrate always. By the time same people return in the same measure, you will start shouting that Obidients are abusive but you will never say, you started it. Now, let me behave that unsolicited nickname you gave up there I didn't see it. Here below is the cross examination of the LP witness where he alluded that the results on EC8A weren't the same with what was uploaded. I hope after reading the cross examination, you will stop confusing people that LP didn't claim manipulation of results. "[ Prof. Eric is reminded that he is still on oath ] 1st Respondent [INEC] Cross-examination : [N:B Q=Questions the first respondent cross examiner is asking the witness. A= Answer of the witness] Q. Where were you on election Day? A. I went to vote Q. You voted and it went on smoothly? A. Yes Q. You were commissioned to produce this report by the LP? A. I was requested to produce the report. Q. You were paid for it? A. Nobody paid me Q. You acted as a patriotic Nigerian? A. I'm a patriotic Nigerian, yes. Q. As a disinterested party? A. Yes Q. Going by the terms of reference mentioned in Para3 of your WSO, primary source of data was the IREV Portal. A. Yes Q. In your witness statement, you made reference to Forms EC8As as well as results uploaded on the IREV Portal, I assume you were referring to the same thing? A. Not exactly Q. What did you mean? A. It's because they are different Q. What's the difference? A. Forms EC8A is different from what's uploaded. Q. The Form EC8A uploaded on the portal is the only document you could see on the portal? A. Not really The Court: what is not really?that's not a definite answer A. His questions did not require a definite Answer. [ The initial question is repeated by the first respondent cross examiner to the witness again] A. No Q. What else can you see ? A. There were blurred images and some that were not related to the analysis done. For instance, results of Senate replaced for House of Reps. Q. When you refer to Blurred images of Forms EC8A, you did not mean the physical copies could be blurred? A. I didn't see physical copies. Q. In all your review, you did not see anything on the portal that suggests there is an electronic collation system? A. The IREV portal is an electronic collation system Q. Are you suggesting to the court that the portal is capable of collating and tabulating results? A. It's not capable of doing that. Q. In Appendix E, you made reference to Labour Party agent Forms EC8As A. Yes Q. Did you attach them to your report? A. It has been tendered to the court. I did not. Q. You're not an election expert ? A. It depends On what you mean by election expert. Q. I suggest to you that there was no way you undertook the task in Para3(c) of your Witness Statement, not being an expert. A. If I understand you clearly, the electoral act and guidelines for conduct of election requires online... [ The first respondent [INEC] cross examiner then interrupted him ] Q. Just answer the question. Are you an election expert, can you determine compliance? A. I can determine compliance. Q. Look at Exhibit PCB1 series, for Rivers State. [He's shown the report he tendered that was marked as Exhibit]. What LGA is that? [ The court officials are trying to get the document in question which have been marked, looks like they didn't bring it into the courtroom earlier ] Q. Confirm to the court when you concluded your assignment. A. 19th of March Q. Back to Exhibit PCB2. Can you read out to LGA ? A. Degema Q. In Ward 7, the Polling Unit you see is? A. 002 Q. Accredited Voters is 40 correct? A. Yes Q. Number of voters 40 correct? A. Yes Q. To be able to do arithmetic, are you suggesting that? A. youre correct, (any level of mathematical knowledge) Q. Your choice of Rivers and benue, was it as a result of random pick not informed by any theory? A. Random pick. Q. You're aware that at the last presidential election PDP, APC and LP all won a number of states in terms of majority of votes. A. My job have nothing to do with who win and who did not win. Q. Did you know? A. What you heard may not be correct. Q. Confirm you did not hear anything about the evential outcome of the election. A. I heard something Q. Who won the election based on what INEC announced? Q. Who won in benue state based on what INEC declared? [Witness is dragging in answering the question ] Q. Do you now recall which party won in Rivers and benue? A. I can't say for now. Q. Those two states were won by APC is that correct? A. I told you can't say for now. Q. In your report, there's an element of statistics involved. A. I dealt on exact data. Q. What you did was to sample and extrapolate ? A. Sampling have to do with forecasting, I used exact data Q. How many polling units are there in Rivers State? A. I don't have everything by heart. Q. How about benue state? A. Same answer my Lord. Q. The total number of polling units in Rivers and benue does not amount to 18,000 blurred results you want the court to cancel. A. Since I do not know the number of polling unit, how do I know? They will not add up. Q. Admonition for statistics: Researchers should be aware of statistical error and sampling error arising from random sampling and bias. A. I'm not a statiscian. The data is an exact data, there's no randomness in it. Q. So your choice of two states was not a random choice? A. The data is an exact data but when it comes to selection of sample space, the selection is done randomly The Court: you said you did random sampling? A. No, the choice of states is random but the sampling data is exact. Q. Your interest in this exercise is for educational research. A. Yes, not a paid job Q. Will you teach your students based on this and states APC won ? A. It has not got to the point of engaging my students. Q. If you have opportunity to do research on other states, you'll get different results? A. Each state will come up with its own results. Q. In your report, you analyzed Forms EC8As on the IREV, nowhere did you allude to what was on EC8Bs and EC8Cs A. Once it's wrong at the polling unit level, it will be wrong up, so the most important form to analyze is Form EC8A [ That's all for the cross examination of the witness by the 4th respondent ] [ There's no questions in re-examination. Ikwueto SAN now asked that the witness be discharged. The court discharges him from the witness box". Note, if you reply me rudely I won't dignify you with reply, this I promise you because I don't dwell in abuse.
|
I would be personally disappointed if PDP and LP do not have the original copies of form of the polling both result sheets(EC8a). Technically they would loose the case if they don't but something tells me they do. They may want the respondent to open their defense first before bringing out the evidence that are in those forms in their written address |
An office with no occupant? Quote author=Gajagojo post=123599242] AGF is an office
|
I want to ask who is the attorney general of the federation? He was mentioned as one of the petitioner |
I think the NLC don't want to strike but want to force the government to initiate and implement some cushioning initiatives to ameliorate the hardship.. The challenge they are having is who to take responsibility from the side of government. It's still a new administration but there are things you don't leave to linger or else it's an admission that you accept the conditions and in this case, it is the workers welfare |
Can you differentiate between election results being transmmitted according to the headline and the ruling on over voting brought up by oyetola, The BVAS quoted by the judges in this instance was on the incidence of over voting, accreditation Nothing else to add.
|
Wasted ticket Bros wait ooo, no be the same Obi rule Anambra for 8 years with no achievement? I don’t really get this again oo, no be the same obi whey just comot from pdp. Where did this overnight messiah come from? Omoh! I fear who no fear una
|
So what's exactly your problem with Peter Obi as you have been lectured today that tinibu operates account also in one these tax heaven. I guess you didn't know but you are now trying to sound woke. Maybe you need to go and read up how the rich hide and safeguard their wealth. If you leave it in places like Nigeria, inflation will eat it up,in countries like uk and the us, be ready for extreme taxation. Tinubu does not parade himself as holy saint, that Tinubu was mention in pandora shouldnt be a surprise especially to Obedient family .. is that not the expectation Pandora goes beyond tax evasion, its an exposee into secrecy havens and money laundering According to pandora Peter Obi had various businesses he clandestinely opened and he has various account he never declared use to launder funds. Peter Obi crimes is Tax evasion and breach of code of conduct bereau, his next int'l company in UK was also short down by uk govt becos he refuse to declare his financial statement, these are clear moves of Tax evasion Peter Obi is not as transparent as he paraded himself, a transparent person would have declared all his assets to code of conduct bureau instead of feigning ignorance another LIE.
|
So na him get zenith bank? I de wonder for some of una seriously.quote author=jahsharon post=121464889] He will definitely be jailed by Tinubu and his bank Zenith Bank brought to it's knees. As for the whereabout of Eko Bank whose Chairman Tunde Ayeni played politics. Tinubu has closed the bank and renamed it. Tinubu's boys are the ones currently running the new brand name
|
[b]Then where did Peter Obi get all the votes from southeast from if election was not hold there? You now the reason every Nigerian that has spoken on Inec transmitting the results from every polling unit real-time. It was the reason Inec got a huge budget for the technology and the reason why majority registered and got their PVC and voted because that results would have shown the majority will of the people. I don't want to begin to prove to you how labour party got their votes in the South East, the crux of the matter is that the whole process is flawed and every votes were doctored by Inec whether for or against the candidates that stood for the election. |
It remains a legal tender only in words, how many people are collecting it exchange for goods and services?quote author=Tflex01 post=121133389] You are right. E come be like na only you get sense for this thread. Old notes remain legal tender till March 3 the next hearing date.
|
I understand how you feel. The politicians from the south east knows what to do to solve this problem; However they are still in denial.Hopefully they might come around before things gets out of hand.quote author=Sergio104 post=112887846] Asin ehhhh. Bro, I'm so sad whenever I think of how our dear Onitsha is loosing it Loosing well to do business Men All in the name of sit at home. May thunder fire the person that brought out this idea
|
If Jonathan becomes the APC flagbearer,Tinubu's best bet will be to support GEJ to dismantle the North hold on power by restructuring this country or at best bet implement the Confab report. I knew Tinubu believed in restructuring somehow before. This game of North versus south for presidency is no longer exigent. Nigeria should be talking about competence, development not from which side of the country a President should come from. |
Lol.am loving this game.I want Jonathan to come back under any guise to implement the confab report. This country needs a reset asap |
[You are not wise by thinking that the FG is the one the sit at home is intended to spur them to act first.let me stop here...quote author=DaddyFabooluz post=111638713] Have you heard of the sayiy "silence is the best answer to fools"? That is the answer the FG is giving. What do you expect the FG to do for people who decide to take orders from one of their own who is enjoying his own life outside the country. It is same tribe who takes order to kill their own people, who takes order to destroy their own communities, who take orders to distabilize their own regions and they obey the orders then you except the FG to respond to people that cannot call their own brother to order. If the FG respond and bring in soldiers it's the same people that will start insulting the FG and still take orders from their master to attack or kill security agents. So tell me, is the silence from the FG not a good sign of how to treat people that choose to be foolish?
|
I expected you to puncture people's contribution to the role Michel played in Chelsea as a defensive mid fielder playing according to instructions...in relation to players like Busquet in Barcelona. Or have you accepted that your understanding of football needs an upgrade.lol Revolution2022: |
[And you believe because Jonathan didnt implement it before,he wont this time around?quote author=anonimi post=111439263] Because he and the geopolitical interests he represents don't want it. Can you do something that you don't want when no one is forcing you to do it? The same reason clueless Jonathan can't do it- the Fulani/northern geopolitical block won't let him do it.
|
Of course the court will make their pronouncement but how much do you think any pronouncement made against the MNK and the biafran struggle would suffice and douse the revolution going on Silently in the east? FYI the first stage of the struggle is against the political class from the east. Let me stop here first JAMO84: |
Do you the difference between monetary and fiscal policies? You are actually right, buhari is weak,he has no well defined fiscal policy and emefiele is doing both his job and buhari own. Buhari is weak... Keeping the criminal IPOB terrorists emefiele as a governor for this long is so foolish. Fire Emifiele. enough is enough. Dude doesn't know anything about his actual work. What he knows best is bending for the Kaduna Mafia and Katsina cartels
|
shehuAO:Do you mean Salisu buhari? I think he was the speaker who was convicted for certificate forgery in 1999. |
SaintHilary:Lol thanks but It's not 2015 camry I wanted to quote o! its 2005.it was the auto correct error |
deedee44:Thanks for the advice, though it was 2005 camry not 2015.Using it on rental is totally different from the owner using it by himself I suppose, because obviously you are not be on rental. Am concerned in the area of having something left after remitting to the owner his weekly payment. |
izzou:my mistake, I mean 2005 camry |
SaintHilary:Bro I would love more input on this because I am considering embarking on the hustle with toyota camry 2015 on a rental. The ride is a 2.4 litres engine, though not a v6. To be honest it has been doing me double mind considering the fuel consumption but was trying to avoid the tag of supposed lazy man quarrelling with his tools until I saw this question by cheddaz |
May the fame of our college last forever! Three cheers for CKC!!! |
I am of the opinion that if we desire a change, then let it be holistic. The current government is spent and are still spending money outside the appropriation bill because of the weakness of our laws. I expect the APC government in fulfilment of the change/next level they promised us to pursue/abolish the security vote of a thing both at the federal and state level instead of witch hunting the previous actors of the last government while they are committing the same crime/corruption presently. |
You think it is legal for the President to give a private individual 400m of Taxpayers funds? Why do you think Metuh keeps mentioning GEJ? He knows GEJ has been given de facto immunity by PMB, so he's a safer subject to rope in than Dasuki [/quote it's not what you or anyone thinks, it is outcome of the presidential system of government we practice in Nigeria and in particular reference; the security vote that the president is authorised to spend without any check and balance I bet you what the current government under president buhari in its re election is no where that sum |
I am trying to understand whether the CJN actually has a case to answer considering a report that he wrote to admit non inclusion of the accounts in question. It is always good to argue on a side of caution. I saw a copy of the law establishing the code of conduct tribunal. In Part 1section 3d,The CJN flouted the rule by not correctly submitting his assets declaration but there was an exception that if such a person admitted in writing to such oversight, there would be no need for the tribunal to try him/her. If such is the case, then why are people supporting illegality. Lawyers in the house please help on this. ..

Stalwert:me I was like what was your view and input when your president refused to submit his waec certificate as a prerequisite for contesting am election obviously because he doesn't have one. Instead he lied on oath that the waec certificate Was with the military |
