Finally in the USA, after getting my Visa in February then to booking a flight to leave in August just to be told not to travel as all my courses were online. Then to leave again and miss my connecting flight, had to reschedule again at the airport.

Guys in the house, please help me as i need help and advise here. I tried to get emergency appointment in Lagos but was denied a new date came on the calendar as April 8th 2021 which i picked. My Original date is April 9th. After picking 8th April o noticed i cancelled the 9th and have a new appointment date.

Now I'm thinking of filling a fresh DS-160 for Abuja to see if i can get a closer date. Will i have to pay a new Visa fee for abuja or i can still make use of the one I'm on? Please remember that i went ahead to pick 8th April. Thinking i would have emergency option if i pick 8th of april. Please also see attached

Just keep your options open for defer. It’s not a do or die affair, it hurts yes but when something is out of your control, what do you do? Ask yourself that. I am also checking when new dates drop as well. Weight all your options right now and don’t let this affect your state of mind. Better days ahead.

My Friend applied for emergency appointment this morning as early as 8am and got an approval mail few minutes ago.

I'm surprised cuz mine took 9days before the Abuja Embassy got back to me.

Please I was denied an emergency appointment in Lagos. And would like to try Abuja and then request for an emergency appointment. Would this lead to the forfeiture of my current mrv fee? As I would first have to cancel my appointment in Lagos. Because trying to reschedule only shows me farther available dates in Lagos. What do I do?

Please how many times can one reschedule a US Visa appointment date? I was denied and emergency request date yesterday and I checked my profile to see that Jan 4 date is available. I reschedule to January but its too close to my resumption date and so will like a date in december. How many times am I allowed to reschedule before im asked to pay another fee
