PoliticsRe: Saraki: Tinubu Will Support Buhari On Hospital Stretcher To Succeed Him In 2023 by getukudo(m): 6:39pm On Aug 20, 2018
A lot of in house secrets will be out in the open if both parties (APC & PDP) don't caution themselves. Saraki would have kept this to his chest but I understand when one is pushed to wall.

APC & PDP should keep their house in check. A lot of agreements must have happened up to the 2015 elections. Tinubu has been eyeing the seat of the President for quite sometime. Its obvious, the presidency will be zoned to the South West in 2023.

The Ademola Victoria too is on my list as well. The person has been sending me advertorials on auto clearance.

Its an old scam though. There are similar profiles like this using innocent peoples picture to defraud people. Atiku Abubakar, Toyin Saraki, Donald Duke have sent me messages asking for financial assistance to help the Benue flood victims. Each time I ask for account details, they keep sending different account names...Hahaha.

That one dey Sha.

But do you think fraternities outside Nigeria are these violent?

The Buccaneers, De Norsemen and NBM are all portraying a different picture outside. Hypocrisy to me.
IamaNigerianGuy:
Leave that thing bro.
There was a guy killed in front of Omega Restaurant at Uniben a few years back. He had just arrived from home and did not know 'kasala' had burst in school (this was before GSM). He walked into a rival group on patrol and was killed. Ordinary students don't die like that.
CrimeRe: Notorious Cultist Killed By Rival Members In Delta On The Eve Of Christmas(pics by getukudo(m): 9:43pm On Dec 25, 2017
True!

I've met some frat men who lived a quiet life devoid of trouble. They kept a cool head, graduated and are doing very well.

Inside confra, soji boys dey. The ones who go about oppressing, intimidating people never end up well.
IamaNigerianGuy:
Cultism is for losers. When I see small boys joining cults I just laugh. They aint seen nothing.

Uniben was a war zone in those days. War in BDPA. War in Ekosodin. War on Ekewan campus. I lost many many friends and acquaintances. Only when they have been hit will you know they were cultists.

I Remember one guy called 'colors' killed in front of hall1. Fine tall Ibo guy. Always well dressed, yarns full im mouth, babes dey die for am. He was killed like a chicken. Apparently, he was a hitman in a school back east and transfered to Uniben pharmacy or mcb (can't remember which) but his sins found him. Many many stories like that. I personally know at least 10 people who died in cult wars. Wasted their lives for what ?

Cultists have no peace of mind, cant sleep in one place, cant go out at night, miss their tests and exams. The cultists I knew are all managing to make ends meet. The Jew men are bank managers, doctors and Engineers in Shell and Chevron.

There is nothing to gained from cultism. Nothing.

So, I am made to believe that the listed things are of major concern to the average Muslim living in Nigeria. This is quite sad I must say..very sad.

That MURIC is not talking about education for the average Muslim living in the North and even those moving about polishing, mending shoes etc down here in the Southern part is something to be of worry to the organisation.

MURIC should talk about education, education, education & more education for the average Muslim living in the North. This should be of major concern to them the most.

PoliticsRe: Unrest In Abia: Ikpeazu Meets Army Commander & Traditional Rulers In Abia (Pics) by getukudo(m): 9:01am On Sep 14, 2017
This is what happens when miscreants intrude into rallies. The speeches at he rallies should have been solely about Biafran sovereignty and not hate on other tribes, I didn't support his statements about burning Nigeria down. Two wrongs don't make a right like the always say, if Buhari supporters or Buhari himself had made a statement about baboons being soaked in blood that doesn't mean the IPOBs should also match them with same words of hate.

IGBO's are intelligent & wiser than this, they're always and will remain so. Don't rope all Igbos into this, they're plenty Igbos of integrity, dignity and respect who are living peacefully with their neighbours across Nigeria.

I can tell you vividly that not all Igbos support this.
PoliticsRe: Ipob Goes Violent, Clash With Hausa Community In Rivers State, 4 Killed (photos) by getukudo(m): 11:04pm On Sep 12, 2017
Just like any organisation, let's leave whether they have gone violent or not. Their ranks have been infiltrated by miscreants. This is where the BSS should come in and get information on how to curtail the crises before it spirals out of control.

They are different groups clamouring for Biafra Republic and no one can say Nnamdi Kanu knows them all and their leaders.

That aside, everyone should be safe out there and try to stay away from angry crowds and stay out of trouble too. Quit the hate talk and tribal bashing, it's not in anyway helping anyone. You people sound like children when you start all these 'ipob pigs', 'zoo army', 'slaves', 'zoogeria', and wishing someone dead or extinction of a particular tribe. Abeg! Quit all that talk.
PoliticsRe: Reasons Why I Can't Support Biafra As A Nigerian by getukudo(m): 8:03pm On Sep 12, 2017
Well, your reply says it all.

paschu:
I do not give a hoot what you believe or think. I said, MENTION another tribe. Simple. The fact that you could not do that underscores your hypocricy towards the agitation.

PoliticsRe: Reasons Why I Can't Support Biafra As A Nigerian by getukudo(m): 5:10pm On Sep 12, 2017
State singled out massacre? But I want to ask, is it only Igbos that are singled out for killings? I believe we have other Christians from the South who were killed in this massacres you have knowledge about.
You should state facts and not engage in insulting anybody who doesn't agree with you on Biafra.
paschu:
I did not ask for your falsehoods and vain explanations. I said MENTION other tribes that had been continued to get singled out for state sponsored massacre since the last 70 years.

Justifying Bello's and Akintola's igbo-hating bigotry in your fake ONE Nigeria is typical of folks like you. And that's why you will never be in lack of equal nemesis in the forms of IPOB and Kanu.

I'm sure you also endorse the quit notice issued by Arewa Youths in furtherance of the anti-igbo growth that was institutionalized by Bello whom you so adore.

PoliticsRe: Reasons Why I Can't Support Biafra As A Nigerian by getukudo(m): 4:12pm On Sep 12, 2017
Okay. So if Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Benue, Bayelsa &
Delta state resolve to stay in Nigeria does that mean the will be no Biafra after the referendum must have taken place.

The referendum is an election like kind of process Abi?
attackgat:
I never said it is an Igbo agitation, I said it is for Igbos and the minorities who are comfortable with Igbos. Kanu can agitate on the Igbo side but only a referendum can say supports Biafra.
PoliticsRe: Reasons Why I Can't Support Biafra As A Nigerian by getukudo(m): 4:00pm On Sep 12, 2017
You've made your point.

So it's clearly and Igbo agitation. That's all I wanted to know.

attackgat:
I think you are mistaken the role of Nnamdi Kanu. Let me use the example Nnamdi Azikiwe.

Zik was a man who went abroad and studied. He returned to Africa and opened a Newspaper business in Ghana with which he used to attack the colonial government of Nigeria and insisted that indigenous Nigerians should be independent and running their own country. Zik later moved to Nigeria in the late 30's and carried on his fight for independence along with others and on the 1st of October 1960, Nigeria got independence. Nigeria still celebrates independence day.

The story of Zik and Kanu is not that different. Like Zik, kanu sent to study abroad and later opened a radio station from which he attacked the Nigerian government insisting that indigenous Igbos and the minorities who are comfortable with Igbos should be independent. Kanu later later returned to Nigeria to fight for what he believes in.

The job of Zik and Kanu is not to tell the people how the future will be or paint a rosy picture. Their job was to bring independence. Their selling point is self determination, independence and freedom. When you are free and in control of your destiny, you go and find a Rosy future.

Kanu's job is not to provide anyone with a vision of Biafra, Kanu's own vision is that of independence and freedom.

As an Igbo man, my duty is to look at Nigeria and ask myself if we Igbos can do better on our own or as a part of Nigeria. The 57 year old disasterous history of Nigeria convinces me that it is time for Igbos to be independent and manage our affairs. I believe we shall do much better outside Nigeria on our own. Nigeria for me is a complete disaster of a nation heading nowhere so it is time to try something else.

Kanu is only a freedom fighter, his job is only to get a referendum for Biafra. When the referendum comes, it is for us to choose which way we want to go. If we choose Biafra, we go with it and try to make it work.

Kanu's job ends with referendum, we then choose our future.

PoliticsRe: Reasons Why I Can't Support Biafra As A Nigerian by getukudo(m): 3:25pm On Sep 12, 2017
Very well said.
For me, I don't have any issues with the Biafra agitations. It's the timing. Why is it during the Buhari's administration? Are we saying that if after President Buhari has left government the agitations will continue? There is clearly a political undertone to this, as the PDP hasn't said anything about the agitations.

Obi1kenobi:
Plenty of violence in the North often ropes in any Southerner or even Northern Christians. We're all the same to almajiri, blood-thirsty savages. That is irrelevant to Kanu's cause. Your Biafran paradise wouldn't stop it either because Igbos will remain in the North. 40 million Igbos are not going to pack themselves in a combined SE landmass about the size of Oyo state.

Ahmadu Bello resented the fact Igbos dominated civil service in the Northern region and he sought to reverse that. I saw nothing hateful about his speech. Imo and Abia state sacked each other's non-indigenous workers some years ago. Far back in the 80's, Enugu state sacked Anambra workers en mass. I wasn't born then, but my mum who is from Agulu told me that's how she lost her teaching job in Enugu, so she proceeded to study law in UNN and spent the rest of her career in FIRS.

Whatever grievances you may have with the Nigerian status quo does not justify the abhorrent behaviour and utterances of IPOB. And does absolutely nothing to improve your standing in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Reasons Why I Can't Support Biafra As A Nigerian by getukudo(m): 2:51pm On Sep 12, 2017
They are 300+ tribes in Nigeria and out of this we have only 3 major tribes, Yoruba, Igbo & Hausa.

Out of the three, they are only two prosperous amongst them in terms of Business, Education etc. Which are the Igbos & Yorubas.

The Igbos on the other hand have been the major benefactors of this Nigeria. There is virtually no where you go that you won't find an Igbo man. They've been at the forefront of business, education, healthcare, science & technology, name it. Likewise the Yorubas as well.

I don't think the Igbos have been marginalised in any government, from past senate presidents to ministers etc. If they say they are marginalised, what then would the Obudu man, efik, Ibibio, Oron, Itsekiris, urhobo, Bini, ijaw, ikwerre, idoma, nupe and others say.

There's actually something hidden behind this agitations and it will reveal itself. My thinking is this, it's POLITICAL because this agitations started immediately after the Jonathan's administration when Buhari took over the helm of affairs. Because, the level of hatred for the President is quite enormous, even IBB, Abdusalam Abubakar & Sani Abacha were not this hated by the Igbos.

Well, the agitations is purely Igbos vs Hausa/Fulani long standing hatred for each other and 5 generations to come won't see this feud ending. Because all I keep hearing the Igbos here on nairaland saying is 'Hausa/Fulani' 'Zoogeria' and Slaves. Well, the slave is the one fighting to be free...Lol.

Lastly, I pray the Biafra comes into fruition so we can see if it will actually be a solution to the Igbos problem.
PoliticsRe: Igbos Abandoned Philip Effiong Who Died A Biafra Rebel, Ojukwu Rewarded - Ekefre by getukudo(m): 9:45am On Sep 08, 2017
A point though.

Like I always would say. Biafra agitation is a long standing hatred between the Igbos & the North. After all, the coups were mostly executed by Northerners killing Igbos, and Igbos killing Northerners.

It will take years for this to heal and Nnamdi Kanu has even made it worse. Generations of Igbos & Hausa/Fulani to come will still hold this grudge and that my friends is evil at its peak.

Agitating for Biafra and saying something else to mean another thing. I'm not understanding my people again oh! Lool

Na real one chance we don enter. This is exactly what Buhari should have done, ignore and pay no mind to them. After all, they are not carrying arms and threating fire & brimstone on anybody.

MASSOB made so much money off the Igbos by telling them that Biafra was recognised by European countries and therefore with their Biafra passports they can enter these countries. Uwazuruike has a date with God to explain why he had to collect huge sums of money from innocent gullible minds (each time I remember this story, I start laughing for no reason). How grown adults would use naira to pay for a Biafran passport...smh! Loool

Biafra will definitely come some day, but let's be very careful in our dealings. A lot of people have taken advantage of this agitation to create wealth for themselves. I'm hearing of another passport printing again...Please let's be careful.

Hahaha...

This Buhari is making it easy for Nnamdi Kanu. The government fell for that trap in the first place by arresting him, he was too smart, he purposely did that.

Knowing fully well who a Hausa/Fulani man is, he fell for the forceful detention. He should have simply ignored him, after all I didn't know of IPOB until late last year when Nnamdi Kanu was arrested.

This guys will set another trap and Buhari will still fall for it...Hahaha.

SIMPLE!!! Just ignore him...
PoliticsRe: Idol Worshiping Faithfuls Are The Ones Delaying Biafra From Materialising - Kanu by getukudo(m): 12:37am On Sep 05, 2017
Buhari gave rise to the Biafra agitations, ever since he got him arrested and detained, also by flouting court orders countless times on his release. But like the soldier in him, he refused.

Biafra is larger than Nnamdi Kanu, he has started a cause greater than him and believe me you, he himself never expected it to garner so much attention. He can't turn back at this point lest he looses a lot (reputation, time and resources). Trust me, you can't stir millions of peoples emotions and leave them at the middle of the bridge hopeless.

How do you even tell people at this point that you had a revelation that you should stop the agitation drive?
No! He can't say such a thing.

These agitations should have been directed at the South East leaders for poor development drive in the region. It should have been used to woo back indigenes of their respective States to come back home and develop the south east. But mbanu! My brethren decided to seek for secession, as if that's our main problem at the moment. I beg to differ, our problem is far beyond secession.

Let's learn to LOVE ourselves first.

Probably kanu doesn't understand what we called anarchy. U are calling some endangered species freedom fighters. Somebody even needs to ask this fool what ipob are fighting for. There is nothing worthy in that enclave, and that's why they are trying to grab other people's land.
