How that Police officer painstakingly check your car documents looking for one thing, just one thing to nail you with when they discover it's a new car, with long stretch of veins all around their head (Meanwhile when it comes to bursting crimes, they become so clueless) 58 Likes 1 Share

Almost rammed into one along Ilaro-papalanto Road. It was late in the night and this "monster" truck was with NO SINGLE REAR LIGHT nor any reflector. I repeat, nothing to alert you of a long slow moving vehicle. On a very narrow and dilapidated road. Meanwhile you'd see those FRSC and VIO disturbing other vehicles on the road while they neglect those trailers that kill and destroy colosally. 1 Like 1 Share |

kingreign: Lexusgs430: kingreign:Just imagine. A friend of mine few years ago told me he got a good offer for an LR and he was going for it. It took me much energy to make him realize his earnings might not make him a responsible Owner of that vehicle. I don't know why people find it difficult to "live within their means" in all sense of that. Another thing I have noticed is, some of the owners of these vehicles actually didn't buy it Tokunbo or brand new, some of them happen to stumble upon a Mechanic or "Panel beater" who gave them the common line of "the owner selling it cos he or she was traveling out hence the cheap offer" and they jump at it without due diligence on what it takes to own it. Meanwhile, the owner might actually have fallen in that category of "show off peeps" who bought it to "make a statement" but couldn't maintain it. It'd now unfortunately have another "unintended" owner who would only use it for the duration of its "manageability". Then the cycle goes on. Ever wondered how come you have a front page news of an Aston Martin found "dead" in an incinerator in Apete, Ibadan. There you have it. 1 Like |

Lexusgs430: Exactly! It's very obvious from the interior of that machine that the owner wasn't a capable one. It's one of those Naijas with the mentality of buying cars for "show". I used to see many of these cars in my mechanic workshop with those ones battling with the repair doing "trial and errors" and couldn't help but wonder how someone would purchase what they can't maintain. Do you know how many Hummers and Ranges that are being used as toolbox and dressing room at many Kazeem's out there? 1 Like |

nurey: Breaking News!!! Sequel to our earlier report on attempted suicide of an expatriate, Prof. Porsche Cayenne , Sahara reporter has exclusively obtained documents linking the heinous act to one of the cabals of overzealous Mechanical Engineers popularly called the Kazeems. Our source told us the culprit, by name Engr. Baseje Apa pulled the trigger using a V6 1997 model of pathfinder. After further investigations, it was discovered that the suspect was in a habit of ingeniously corrupting and murdering High end automobiles especially expatriates. When the police stormed his office, they found cache of weapons criminally employed to assassinate the treasurables. Among which was a Mercedes S500 which was having a 1990 Peugeot 504 engine sandwiched. We promise to bring you more details as they unfold. 4 Likes |

However, I believe since it's been established that it's genuine, we should do something and not put this guy through some additional trauma more than he's managing already. RIP to him. It could have been an assassination as some people rightly said. But in this case, a self-inflicted assassination (more like one-man assassination) . We should not forget we're in a country where we are capable of using "advanced technology"(spiritual drone) to control others. Perhaps a hi-tech spiritual drone was deployed to the man ordering (convincing) him to put a gun to his head. |

Simitrendy: That's the point! You listen to it, we all do, though not deliberately . Whether you like it or not it's all over our face. You hear it everywhere and by chance, it might have even unfortunately become one's anthem. Does it change the fact that they're wack? That's the point most people are missing. |
Celebrities / Re: Five Most Overrated Nigerian Artistes by GetUmad: 9:14pm On Mar 31, 2017 |
Adiwana: Stop being ridiculous! I googled and pasted Eazi and Tecno's Lyrics here not cos I jam them and know them but because I have accidentally had opportunities (sometimes, helplessly) of listening to different songs they offered without being able to align with just a particular one with meaningful lyrics. Same thing with the people that pasted Chris brown's or whoever. It doesn't mean we all listen or admire them. What the guy up there is saying is factual only if you could reason with him. No one is hating anyone, that someone do drugs, get rich and empower his immediate community doesn't change the fact that he's into drugs. No matter those people's achievements through their acts, it's still doesn't change the fact that they are wack. Lil' Wayne is one of the richest US hip hop artist. Does it change the fact that his lyrics are lewd? Who's now hypocrite? |

Joavid: You correct my guy. Majority of these songs most people that are now advocating for it would never have fallen in love with it for the very first time. But got fond of it as a result of serious jamming everywhere you go. Especially if you go clubbing or hang out you can't help but know all these songs. That you know the song or you jam it doesn't change their lyrics from being either creative or otherwise. It's still whatever it is. |

NeeKlaus: Bro, I never in my whole statements said at any point that their foreign counterpart is better. When one criticises our indigenous mediocres doesn't mean one is placing preference over the international ones. That's the mistake whole lot of you are making. Let's call a spade what it is. I don't give a hoot whoever the artist is, Nigerian or foreign. I'm allergic to senseless songs. However, my point still remains if you give me 5 songs with a relatable lyrics then decide to shun out 3 below par, I would easily excuse you. No one is perfect. But how do you want to rate an artist as Eazi and Tecno that if we are to copy all their songs lyrics here, without any form of sentiments, one would agree, though they may have danceable vibes, nonetheless they're wack. You get? And back to your issue of Lil Wayne or whatever you call it, let me disappoint you, I am not a fan. As a matter of fact I don't listen to him with any admiration. Not only him, many of them out there, so so many of those new international lil-Wayne wanna-bes. What is Panda panda panda? Isn't it popular worldwide? Does it make it any less senseless? I only chose to reply you cos I found your response matured compared to others. Someone was even asking me if I ever bought any Nigerian CD in my life? Just imagine that kind of question. I have Adekunle Gold, Phyno's Album in my car. Also got all classic collections of Asa, Tu face, Style-plus and many other talented Artists. For those of you who still wish to quote me. I repeat, if you can't have at least 40% meaningful or averagely sensible songs in your entire production, danceable beats or not, YOU'RE A MEDIOCRE. Is it all 2 faces songs that are sensible? What is " enter the place" compared to ifune ibaga? But of course we can easily excuse those ones. For every rubbish songs Tu face, Phyno, Olamide, Asa, Timi Dakolo, Praiz, Bez, Brymo, Wande Coal and host of others might sing, one would still be able to bring out few other ones that are sensible in their name. 1 Like 1 Share |

freaklesschild:Pls don't quote me next time if you don't have your fact or I Get you mad. Where did you read in my post claiming wiz kid to be better? Even if I were to tow that lane I would still place even the rubbish Daddy Yo lyrics as less incongruous than those rubbish ones up there. If you don't understand my point there's no need engaging you in any intellectual discourse. By the way, quit your conspiracy theorems. That someone created a thread to air his opinion about talentless Artists and people decided to contribute doesn't mean the thread is all about Wizkid. I was embarrassed when I saw your post claiming the thread was anti-Davido by pro-Wizkid fans. I was more embarrassed seeing you quoting me. Why should you have to attach an unintended conspiracy to such a nice thread as this. OK, have it below. But I won't help you if you can't seem to understand that if you read at least 5 lines in the lyrics below, you could make a sentence with little or no irrelevant words in between. And by the way, it's a dance hall, hence the lyrics format. I got a lotta song, she sing so I make her meter blow uh-ooh-oh Na my song she dey sing so She never ever dull uh-ooh-oh When we dey, nobody dey She dey like to wan dress, you know She dey do the durty dance, you know Valentino she dey wear, you know She call me Funkmaster Flex, you know Everything I want, she gimme She tell me everyday she wanna see me, ooh-yeah Bad-boy Wizzy, StarBoy Wizzy-boy I make her dance, I give her mwaan And make you know my girl nice And I swear, she dey dress, you know Valentino she dey wear, you know Gucci be the dress, you know I no dey let her stress, you know [Efya:] Wizzy boy, make me dance Daddy Yo, make me dance StarBoy, make me dance Daddy Yo, make me dance Wizzy boy, make me dance Daddy Yo, make me dance StarBoy, make me dance Daddy Yo, make me dance [WizKid:] 1-2. I like the way you dance I love your kitty-dance, I love the way you dance am 3-4, knocking on the door FYI: I am not a fan of Wizkid. I don't dig him. The guy is blessed and doing well in his chosen profession just like others I was referring to, no doubt. The fact remains majority of them can't sing a song with meaningful lyrics. It's excusable to me, if you flop in 3 or 4 out of 10 songs but not ALL. 7 Likes |
