Meanwhile, who else has noticed that MMM amd Buhari both have some things in common? 1) Both have Ms 2) They are both ponzi schemes 3) Their ardent supporters are so deluded. Even when everything has "crashed" or "frozen", you hear things like: it's a worthy risk or it's gonna get better soon. Meanwhile, they're suffering as a result of their action. 4) Fans of both are Suicidal. Very risky set of people to jokingly "bully". |
Lol @ whatever Allah lays in your heart. Meanwhile that brother would come over here on nairaland shouting "MMM is coming back and better, MMM has helped me a lot" bullshit Who else has noticed that MMM amd Buhari both have something in common? 1) They are both ponzi schemes 2) Their ardent supporters are so deluded. Even when everything has "crashed" or "frozen", you hear things like: it's a worthy risk. Meanwhile, they're suffering as a result of their action but would pretend otherwise publicly. |
This one is just one of the very few people who isn't consoling himself like others with statement like ; " is it your money" Meanwhile, who else has noticed that MMM amd Buhari both have something in common? 1) They are both ponzi schemes 2) Their ardent supporters are so deluded. Even when everything has "crashed" or "frozen", you hear things like: it's a worthy risk. Meanwhile, they're suffering as a result of their action. |
That moment when you discovered your brain is empty and you felt growing complicated hair would fill it up only to discover that you're still as empty as ever.

Trump, see wetin you cause. |
Some people would just open mouth "gbaga" and exhale rubbish. That you're PRIVILEGED shouldn't make you call another person a LAZY man. Why wishing evil on people cos you think (just as of this moment), you're better than them. So many of the so called illegal immigrants, esp from Nigeria have through this sojourn, turned the fortune of their respective families around. Some youths are in higher institution of learning right now just because their brother/sister took that risk and became that "illegal immigrant". Some fathers have been saved from hypertension, mothers high BP (that could have been as a result of seeing their children still struggling without hope in Nigeria after several yrs of joblessness ) cos their offspring took that decision and have become so responsible that they never joke with their parents wellbeing/health. Majority of Naijas that travel both legally and illegally have in no immeasurable ways become great source of blessings unto their numerous friends and families. Its so so annoying seeing many people right here condemning them. Just same way I see some e.diots condemning people people trying to stay away from crime by hawking gala and beverages in traffic. Live and let's live. I agree it's a crime or whatever definition its tagged, however, we should not be too fast at wishing woes on people who aren't fortunate to be " citizen" but have been law-abiding as they could. Don't let us forget the economic impact of diaspora transactions on this our staggering economy. The billions sent home (Remember through either legal or illegal stay) could not be wished away. So far you're not engaging in any criminal activities, I don't wish you evil. 'nuff said. |
Terry G dey learn where this man dey with those his chains..... By the way, what's it with the combo of cross and walking stick used by Ifa priests. |
After all the epistle still couldn't see where you affirmed he was with security detail when he came to Nigeria. I'm not sure anyone argues he's without none, ever over there. He sure could even have Navy SEALS guarding him around in his country, But the bone of contention is " who protected him while he walked around here in Nigeria"? (Which your epistle still fails to reveal) A sort of invisible voltron? He could have even come with couple of Guards over here. Very possible, but it still doesn't change the fact that he was most times seen alone without any, probably elected not to go with any in some instances. |
This government is more confused than CONFUSION itself. So Unsettled and Undecided! Same way they withdrew case against Saraki and his deputy. So much Trial and Errors like Kazeem the Mechanic. |
Twizzy30:You said not only that security died and failed to tell us who this new person was. A student or Lecturer? |
jacobjamie:My brother, I tire ooo. I even know the vehicle sef. Ilupeju. |
calculusx:But how do you then explain the sudden deviation from the pencil and fish light camry that was trending then? As at that time, this particular corrola was not as prominent as it is now. I believe just like the daewoo of the 90s, the opel of the early 2000s, it's a matter of time before it goes into oblivion. Sometimes, I also wonder why Prius which has got a better fuel economy is not well accepted in the country while the Camry(ies) are. |
san316:This got me rolling on the floor. Are you for real?

Double post |
vivalaurel:So educative. Nice one.... But let me ask you, have you used Kia or hyundia before [pre-07 models] ? Do you think they are any different in terms of fuel economy, speed and maintenance? I actually have d manual corolla, wanting to get the auto for my wife cos I like it but I'm not finding the price funny. Thinking of finding her an alternative esp in the class of Kia. |
Majoroperation:Hmmm, I think you've got a point. I guess that's one of the reasons Toyota is so costly. Easy to resell with lil' or no loss. |
stjsd:Wow, very neat. Guess you just bought it. You can imagine this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3299679/neat-2004-4runner-1.200m for an SUV with price lower than that of corrola same year. Saw a guy advertising a corrola on this section for 1.530m. How is the second-hand ( third-hand at this junction since its tokunbo) value of this car and like how much does it go for presently. |
stjsd:Pls do you mind sharing the pix and the experience. |
pafra:My sentiment exactly! Dealers in the country are smiling to bank with this particular vehicle, while some of them are selling a refurbished accidented as a first grade. The car is so hotcake now that hardly would you get to any showroom and you'd see a first grade without neck_breaking amount tagged to it. |
Dear Gurus in the house, Pls I need some clarifications on this craze about Toyota corolla (1. 8 ) esp 03- 06 models. Nigerians believe that particular brand and model of vehicle consumes less fuel compared to other vehicles in its class, hence its now so so expensive. A clean Toyota corrola (03-05) model is now costlier than some SUVS. Pls, I need the Car gurus on this forum to enlighten more on car and fuel consumptions. Which other vehicles out there do you think one could consider as (better) alternative(s) to this corolla in terms of FUEL ECONOMY AND ease of MAINTENANCE on Nigerian roads. This would help some of us to make an informed decision when hunting for one. This does not of course exclude other Car users who can share their experience on good fuel economy of their brand of cars. Thanks in advance. Can this be pushed to frontpage. Really want to get more enlightened opinions. Lalasticlala Password; snake, python

yommen:You should be more concerned about 1} The chemistry between you too. Do you love your partner? Is he or she also so much into you? 2} How about the Parents. Both Parents? Have they given their assent to the union? The earlier you discover this the better. Of course, some might tell you it doesn't really matter, truth is, it does, esp for an inter-tribal union, else, it becomes too frustratingly complicated. 3} How strong are you to take the bullets for what you believe in? Believe me, its inevitable. It'd mos' def' come in one form or the other. |
You are on a very loooooong thing. You wanted a candid advise for a serious decision on Nairaland of all places, involving the online Cain and Abel tribes. Fact; These two tribes easily cohabit and have great families way more than any other tribal combo in this country ( I.e you'd easily see 10 SE-SW combo homes before you'd see either of them with the North). Yorubas and Ibos marry almost every saturdays contrary to what they present to you online. how do I know that? Well, I'm a first class Witness and I must tell you its been so great. |
This is a litmus test for all Nigerians. Fact: MOST Nigerians are hypocrites. They would do worse given the same condition they readily chastise their Leaders for. |
pacino26: BeeBeeOoh: GudluckIBB: fmc1: GudluckIBB:Can't you people see the information is kinda distorted? Isn't it obvious there's omission somewhere. |
Haba! Nigerian youths ona nor dey fit just take time to verify things before commenting. It's obvious that's a mistake. How could he have finished secondary school in '86 only to bag his degree 13yrs later. Besides, when did they start awarding WASC certificate in primary school? Make ona dey reason small small nah. It's free! |
This is just the perfect opportunity some wicked employers have been waiting for to lay off. If you know you've not got another offer letter somewhere else, it's better you let the strike update meet you at your office. My 1 litre of PMS (or 145 naira). |
