peterphd: Hehe...I don't know about the African gods o.They only know how to make their own people mad.Mad over what? I hope you don't mean mad about defending them, because they can do that themselves, speaking for some of ours, wouldn't know about yours in Idoma. Or might you be referring to Clifford Orji ? |
Don't you think the problem with Nigeria is it hopeless addiction to foreign religions: https://www.nairaland.com/961735/nigeria-better-off-leaders-swears |
@Wiegref Guy....I appreciate everything science enlighten us with, one of the worthiness of scoence is its willingness to change its views. I just don't think its has all the answers as you've also indirectly agreed ^. Now, I want you and I to investigate what is it that unknown to science that could be responsible for.... I am inviting you along with others (to witness) where you specifically will be asked to place your palm on the ground and certain mumbo jumbo will be said, afterwards asked to remove your palm. Claim is you would find it impossible to draw off your hands no matter the strength you apply, unless it is undone. After you are convinced, hopefully, let you and I now come and reason together on what kind of force unknown to science is involved. Plot a way in which such feat can be channeled to something useful with our scientific mind. Please don't reply statement like: "why wasn't such power use by our ancestors to chain down the invading Europeans" or "use it to go chain down bankworkers and rob the strong room" |
jayriginal: ghosttofsparta please clarifyGuy, I don't know why you all, after all these months, still haven't grasp what I mean by YAS. YAS, an acronym I coined to mean Yoruba Advanced Sciences referring to tested and confirmed native means of achieving certain extraordinary feats. Ctrl+F YAS in most of my past post to read more about it. YAS as it is, still need more scientific |
macof: yes of course. Igbo and Other ethnic groups have theirs. It is nt as if only Yoruba knew the secrets of the worldIn some of my posts in other threads have I acknowledged that Igbos, the Ijaws, calabars etc too have it. I just happen to be a Yoruba, seeking to study more about Yoruba esoteric knowledge in Yorubaland. |
@rudedough But guy I too have a 'to hell with Abrahamic gods' attitude, however do you believe in what I have seen reason to have termed YAS(Yoruba Advanced Sciences)? Because I think YAS should be the actual term for the erroneous naming 'juju'. I'm referring to feats like native metaphysical version of bullet proof, invisibility, teleportation, resistance to cuts. |
You people no go fit vex @ all. Make una come na. Logicboy03 wtf are you? |
rudedough: What do you mean by "cheat this God"?Perhaps he meant science can do much better than cloning. Create a human being. |
rudedough: Hahaha You've been watching too much ghost raiders LOLGuy you've been cracking my ribs. These religious black converts. Let them be jor. Indoctrinants are extremely difficult to re-fine-tune. One can't help hut to admire the power of religious brainwashing. However, I think I would like to know what your respond would be here: https://www.nairaland.com/1510778/all-atheists-once-all |
macof: nnofaith and wiegraf are just foolin themselves on this thread. I wonder wat their aim isIt seems their aim is to remain atheist forever. It's fun been one I must say. |
nnofaith: we asked a very simple question and they couldnt answer and they want to be taken seriously.okay let me say: I don't have answers, don't take me seriously. Can you come take a look yourself, then afterwards re-ask your questions, after the answers draw your conclusions. nnofaith: the question is, if yoruba pple had all these super natural powers how come oyinbo pple conqured them?!what makes you think it's all Yoruba clans belonging to their respective tribes had access or possess all these supernatural jazzes?. It's like a Japanese bragging to me that there exists among their various tribes, members of clans belonging to the Ninjitsu cults who can vanish and me asking if it so why didn't they all use it to vanish and kill their external invaders. Even Ifa stated in a particular odu which suggests that they have been skeptics existing ever since the beginning. It's been a waste of time. nnofaith: i am sure some of these nitwits believe sango used to breathe fire when he was alive, that oya actually turned into a river as stated in yoruba mythology. if i want to watch cool magic tricks i will tune to Criss Angels. From your above statement, you are not different from our black religionists who believe their pagan ancestors are burning away in hell for not knowing Jesus or the Almighty true God (Yahweh). Keep it up. |
Wiegref, truth be told. I'm truly polaxed by your brute reply. In fact, I'm weaken by some of your points, points that have been clawing at me ever since. Don't get me wrong as I do not imply lack of answers to address your posers. However, you typed something that, even my parent sometimes says, which I've always find undeserving. wiegraf: Anyways, picking some bits, for one, you're asking us for a pass because we're black. That's silly. If anything, we should be harder on you since it's our society we're talking about. Those oyinbos that might have derided you would be a lot harder on their own ranks if they smell this kind of folly in their midst. These your beliefs are responsible for a lot of CANCER in our own society (note: not theirs), unquestionably. Good people doing bad things, yet you expect us to give you a pass? No, you don't deserve a break. Not at all, in any language, shape, form or manner. And considering that, it's rather risible of you all to think you somehow have the moral highground here. You have assumed to not only know what I believe in but also to have presented yourself as someone possessing scholarstic view on our ancestral believe system. Well, never mind, just want to point that out. My beliefs are not responsible for any Cancer in our society. However which, it's actually the other way around in terms if its lack and thorough understanding. wiegraf: If your jazz works it's really simple, really.simple; use it (to succeed). What in the world do you care what some online community thinks? If your jazz objectively works, you really do not have to waste time here convincing anyone. Just as with xtians and their god, considering those claims if yahweh really existed do you think we'd be debating it?^ yeah you're damn right but what makes you and my parent think I haven't figured a way out for me (and people in general) to use it/them to succeed? wiegraf: Feel free to not believe in the physics behind your computing device (and you actually somehow don't....) but guess what? It works regardless of your opinion. You're using it right now, no? And oyinbo will continue to make a killing, not to mention enrichen lives. This is ABCI believe in Physics and science, but it's obvious you misunderstood my earlier points, which is ofcourse my fault. Again, what I mean is that science need to stop acting as if it got answers to everything in our reality. Another scholarstic discipline need to be carved out to cater for certain things undetectable and unanalysable with the empirical based science. Yes, I know majority are still yet to convinced of this things I speak of, which is why I'm inviting you or other equally strong Nairaland atheists to come see with your eyes, afterwards we can collectively plot a way in how to properly understand what type of forces makes them so, hence realizing how they can be apply for benevolence purposes (ofcourse, for those who're interested). It's almost impossible doing it alone. wiegraf: And your talk of being in an African environment therefore we should have noticed these things, I'm tempted to ask if you're on drugs. Look at what is patently obvious; Nigeria is at the very bottom of the food chain. Life here is utter $hit for most, nothing works, our ancestors were enslaved, etc etc, yet you claim we have some super duper secrets that makes the pain go away.......You are so so right my friend, for instance there has been no electricity supply for almost one year in this town. I know for certain that, there exist a YAS such that when, provided that person is an attacker with the intent to harm you, the instant you are held or touched, no matter how many they are, they get shocked with....I am not sure but allow me to call it....electricity. Please don't reply me that why would one need to harm another through grabbing when you can blast the person with arrow/grenade/firearm from far, because my point is, if I were to possess or knew the formula to create such jazz, I would do what a whiteman would, that is to figure a way on how it can be channeled towards generating electricity for, if not to the community who would think it source must be from the devil or what have you, because it's not from the whites, but for at least for myself. But it is only you atheists I can team up with to achieve such things collectively as blacks to show the world, we have stuff to contribute to world's growing technology. wiegraf: If it worked, then why the hell is 9ja $hit??!! Why are you even using a scientific method powered device to read this rather than your jazz?? The hypocrisy, from so many angles, befuddles.Nigeria is $hit because of its helpless addiction to foreign religions. Why am I using a scientific method powered device? I don't see how such question imply why you wouldn't accepting the opportunity to witness what seems to far-fetched superstitious claims for yourself. |
Mr Troll: see man, this here is why you guys will never be taken seriously.if our sides were switched, I would say the same thing. ^ So don't worry, I can understand. If you don't want to participate, no one is forcing you, I can only hope that one day you get to experience |
Mr Troll: GhostofSparta is one funny dude. It's because of this sort of thinking ^ folks keep obscuring and hiding these esoteric knowledges from knowledge seekers like me. My pal who I've spoken of on this thread also told me that because of his sudden burst of interest after the teleporting demonstration her Christian convert granny showed him yesterday, she immidiately went further to burn whatever remaining parch books she has written on her own YAS. I told him why she did it. In my hometown, from our lineage, it is said to have lived one old powerful YASist who just before passing on, went very far away to bury his box of juju powers and knowledges, when asked why, he said youths of nowadays (then) lacks the required patience (suru) and the necessary understanding of knowing when to use extraordinary powers at such dire a moment. I'm sure you are among the type of youths he was referring to. No offense. |
Why have you derailed my thread? wiegraf: I never said I was in lagos, that's what the 'no' was for. And I repeat, please, if you're going to be there do have an exit strategy. And use a goat or something. To be fair though even if I were available I doubt I'd be anywhere near them, for various reasons. My brother, all you Nairaland atheists have a cogent point. But, please don't assume whatever we claim is as easily demonstrable as described. I know the burden of proof is on us. I am very young guy who strives to make ends meet, and who just so happen to be interested in the supernatural from the get go. I cope with everyday challenges in Nigeria in terms of it hardship as I believe most of us know. If I have a token of Davido's wealth, I'm off to Fort Lauderdale to engage Randi's paranormal challenge, perhaps also to live in a society where I wouldn't bother about other problems so as to comfortably complete and publish my book. My curiosity began with my affixation to science at a much younger age. Its attempts to always provide answers and its propensity to accomplish the implausible had always intrigued me. I've read Isaac Asimov, Von Daniken, C. Clarke etc, however all through the years as I gradually realised of how handicapped the same science I so hopelessly admire and respect find it difficult to explain several phenomenon such as the Death's Valley sailing stone and the Bermuda Triangle mysteries among others, so have I been bombarded with similar paranormal happenings here, though diametric in scope. It took quite long to completely shed off the handcuffs of Christian religion before deciding to investigate these local claims given my scientific curiosity. I, started off by really asking and analysing these claims, and as I confirmed I gradually leaned more on our ancestral believe system, of which I came to realize an aspect of it popularly but erroneously known as juju, it is this misunderstanding of juju that I saw reason to be deemed; Yoruba Advanced Sciences, or all altogether. I stumbled from one forum to the other searching for similar stuff found in ours or possible explanations to this bewildering discovery, especially at where topics bordering on the supernature were frequently discussed. Given how defensive I was to my claims, some at Atheist Republic believed I myself is susceptible to those kind of what to them is a whole different kind of false and ridiculous claims without any evidence or proof to back myself up. Later, I realized how stupid I was to be claiming before foreigners living in a clime different to ours , but what about my fellow blacks here who happened to be atheistic, you all seem to be as dogmatic as the Abrahamic religionists we all love to debunk. I wonder if atheism has a decree that states no atheists shall ever offer the slightest attention to any demonstrable claims of the supernatural. Guys, you are here in Nigeria, and those of you in Yorubaland, I dont see any reason why you cant from your cocoon of jujuphobia/juju-ignoramus visit a Babalawo and ask to know whether jazz exist or not, and yet here I am offering how the strongest atheists here can meet up with me to witness any selected one out of some few listed jaz I am willing to make preparation for, instead you all are busy trivializing everything rather than man-up and take up the gauntlet. For those of you mocking Kanoko, its obvious you know nothing. In this town where I am they have it in many variant. Only if some of you mocking Kanoko knew how I am controlling myself from insulting you base on your ignorance. You all view all these stuff like you think of a torch light device that you can switch on and off just like that, Kanoko doesnt function as some of you comically falsely presume. It is different from Egbe that teleports human from a danger spot to a safe zone. What Kanoko does is to reduce time taken, by shortening the distance one is supposed to walk. It works but has a mild consequence which I believe can be perfected which is where I need you black atheists to focus your intelligence on after hopefully convincing you. Kanoko nor Egbe arent meant for such long distance as from Lagos to New York. I haven't heard of any tangible YAS that can do precisely that, but I am aware there are other deeply supernatural means that can achieved what you jokingly talk about i.e. Flying to overseas, let's leave that for now. |
@Plaeton and those who think if modern science can analyse and replicate feats achieved by the application of 'YAS', therefore therefore there is some sort of scientific tricks behind whatever is purported to be juju/jazz : First of all, How I wish I had the funding to finish my book. In it, I explained that science as we know it is inherently incapable of breaking down feats, if proved to be 'Supernatural'. Often times I weep inside knowing what I have seen and yet skeptics, atheists and scientists like James Randi, Carl Sagan, Lawrence Krauss, Richard Dawkins etc, with their volcanoes of knowledge strongly believe science can provide all answers to our reality. Ofcourse religion can't and so is modern science as we know it, is inherently incapable of explaining all phenomenon. I so wish the whole world sees the kind of supernatural feats mastered by ancient pagan Yorubas of old, of esoteric knowledges still in possession of us few who have returned or returning back to understand our ancestral believe systems. If they see and experience, then surely will either science be redefined or left to cater for the physical world. Those of you invoking the vague and incoherent science of quantum to explain a term I hate to use 'spirituality' or 'spirit' (there's no such thing as far as I can be concerned), can quantum mechanics and other useless scientific theories such as that of gravity and conservation of matter/energy explain a coin tossed up and when grabbed in mid air becomes another object, mostly weapon such as ida (native sword) and at times gun. I have my metaphysical explanation for these deeds, borrowing very little of scientific explanation sometimes. A human moving through solid wall live in front of you or changing to an insect. (yeah another crazy claim abi). Okay, plaetton explain to me why gravity accelerating at 9.8ms^2 failed to bring down a jazzed gourd staying still in mid air after been thrown up? How would their foolish science that claims to have every clue on how the univere operates proffer a theory to explain an act inwhich during a school football match turned freefight, one of the local student traced a gun symbol on the sandfield, spoke some abracadabra and tapped the drawing and a locally made pistol emerged from it? How will any Albert Einstein explain many many of these jazz in action. There are people who have done jazz to such extent that when their photograph s taken, they will be missing against the background. How can Chemistry explain fire lit and placed on top of our normal drinking water. Even if the US military somehow developed a pseudo-invisibility tech with the costly application of their understanding of quantum, photons and whatever, how can they achieve teleportation? A feat that native pagans here have it in various versions, thing is they hoard these knowledges, and at times render for those who always turn out to apply it towards crime. @Folykaze Remember I told you, that you lack certain level of interpretative insight in responding to these rigid lots. Ofcourse I too can dismiss Osayin on the basis of someone throwing his/her voice towards the carving from a distant (VR BTW, Osayin is not carving per se. I wouldn't go into that now. But |
FOLYKAZE: Lets understand one point bro. Spirituality can be reach only through quatum physics, advance mathematics and chemical science. In science worldview, spirit is force/energy and like I explained Orisa in one of my thread, I called them natural force base on their patakis. So the manipulation and usage of this thing are base on critical observation and analysis. To be sincere, I'm not convenient with your usage of electromagnetism to explain ayeta. Afobon is different from the one I'm talking of, which is called tidijo. It has several variant as well....one of which is to reverse the direction of the bullet. Yeah I know it sounds crazy, which is why I came up with Yoruba Advanced Sciences instead of juju or jazz. There's another type wherein the firer would be the one to feel the impact and pain which is quite similar to the latter in the sense that the projectile doesn't change direction. I respect your Ayeta hypothesis but it's clearly much different to mine. I would love to share it here but doing that would spoil the element of surprise in the book. Perhaps, we may work together. |
alfaman1: Why is it so hard for you to get a video camera? What Photoshop is to static images is what After Effect and Premiere is to audio visuals created with cameras. |
MonsieurCoder: ghostofsparta i am waiting! where do you reside?I can't disclose the exact address of where I am on a public forum. If you are on BBM, add me and you will be sent a group invite where the address would be later announced. My location is Lagos. |
jayriginal: Let me introduce you all to a certain gentleman with an unusual diet.Have you seen anyone literally vanished in front of you before? *a friend just called me now to tell me how her grandma (she used to be a core pagan traditionalist but now a deep Christian convert) just teleported a medicine box from her room to the outside gate now, he sound so intrigued on the phone* Have you seen a little pagan secondary pupil walked through wall? All these I have seen and many more. So stop trying to equate what me and Folykaze is claiming here with explainable Sai Baba tricks or Criss Angel illusions. We are waiting for logicboy03 to join the BBM group I created, there are now 8 Atheists there now. I need one more strong atheist like logicboy03 or you or wiegref to join, then we move on from where we last discussed, which is about where, when ANF which among the supernatural feats I listed on the group chat should I be preparing demonstration for. |
Everyone, wait a minute...going through MonsieurCoder's post, I discovered aManfromMars is religionist presenting himself as an atheist here: https://www.nairaland.com/1506288/dear-christians-how-did-devil So I'm right to have joked you - martian pagan hunter aManFromMars: Update yourself Bro. The old testament is all about the Jewish God Yahweh and is a lesson for us Christians in this new dispensation on how willing The New Testament God 'Jesus Papa' is willing to fight and protect those He loves. And yet his signature is: Igbo|Gamer|Atheist Lots of fakesters on nairaland ever since. |
MonsieurCoder: @ghostofsparta and @folykaze where do you guys reside? As for me - Yorubaland Why? |
FOLYKAZE: If you were the one that made claim that eating razor blade is a common knowledge, wiegraf would have asked you to prove yourself and if you ignore him like he did, he will turn to bashing, insulting and praising west world including his lord Darwin. Now the ball is in his court, all he can do is searching helplessly for the common knowledge uncommonly and when he cant find help, he employed insults. Typical way of nairaland atheist. They are all losers and barking dogsI have huge respect for all those scientists atheists like the Dawkins, Tyson, Dalton, Krauss, Rutherford etc and the whole pack for their efforts to enlighten the world, I admire Randi too a lot for his persistent investigation into the paranormal. But why won't they try to check us so called primitive out? They are so certain about evolution and gravity and neurology and whatever their science can reveal, not knowing there's a limit to what science is entitled to figure out. Brb |
FOLYKAZE: which of your post are you refering to specifically?https://www.nairaland.com/1510778/all-atheists-once-all/4#19446220 |
@folykaze check up to read and reply my modified post. Ranchhoddas: Answer the call o ye atheists, stop running around, stop beating about the bush, answer the call and see that some things are just beyond science.Because an aspect of Yoruban paganism I termed YAS is beyond science doesn't imply to validate claims under Abrahamic religions in any respect. |
@folykaze check up to read and reply my modified post. dalaman: My question to all the juju proponents is this, why is it that every thing about juju is never done in the open, why must it be hidden? We have seen what science has done and every thing about it is out in the open, every body can learn about it, try it and modify it if possible. The same can not be said for juju. Personally I have never seen juju at work, I always hear people talk about it, but when I ask more questions I usually get unsatisfying answers. I really do not believe in all these here say stories because if juju is real then how come the white man was able to conquer our ancestors with their ancient guns and stop them from practising their juju tradition by replacing it with the white man's religion? If bullet proof juju is real then why were we conquered with ancient guns? Why didn't the bullet proof juju save our ancestors? Why didn't we use the juju to make the invaders drop their guns and start farming on our lands because some people claim they have the juju that will make you beging to work for them once you come to attack them. Why can't we use juju to develop our lands? We use science and technology to develop ourselves, why can't we use juju if its real?Guy you won't be the first to be asking such pertinent question. I provide answers for them in my book. It's will be too lengthy and disconnected if I post them here. |
Folykaze recheck my post above and would like to read you response, let me deal with martian pagan hunter. aManFromMars: Confusion, mass confusion.. black man is finished. So you accept that the black man is finish? What if you were to see as enough Nigerian sailors have seen on whiteman's cargo ships coursing through the high seas, if you were to witness whites sailors ordered by their captain to bring from the storage: gallons of palm oils and gins, etc just to initiate certain ritual in a bid to quell imminent obstacle ahead of them visible at the horizon. Such experience would be acceptable to you because they are whites. White doing African juju ritual. I used to have some videos I downloaded off youtube showing white ifa babalwo casting an for that week in Washington DC. That should be acceptable to you on the basis of cultural appeal to foreigners abi? |
@FOLYKAZE In as much as your hypothesis is a brilliant one, an explanation I find sensible, how can one explain a version of APB where the firer himself gets injured? What I mean is A man x grips his loaded pistol aimed at target y who is rendered with this type of ABP YAS. Immidiately man X pulls the trigger, the bullet will have it path reversed inside the muzzle, thus resulting in a catastrophe that get the firer injured. To me this metaphysics way beyond the league of science as we know it. |
druid06: @Plaetton ( Btw, I'm trying to fathom what that moniker means )^All what you saw or experience are common among those who know as e dey go. In my research I have confirmed a local native walked on river without using Criss Angel Plexi Glass deception A war veteran used anti-explosion to survive undetonated bomb. Several school boys whose folks are jazz lord walked through wall.....so so so many |
obi alfa: I never believed in rainmakers until I needed them.Mind sharing your rainmaking experience? There are schools to learn these things, thing is they are not getting any funding from our Abrahamic influenced governments. Secondly, Components of Abrahamic religons in our society are heavily influencing certain aspects of their teachings and core decodings. For instance, Ajule-Orun is not the same as the christian heaven, but you might find most Ifa scholars for the sake of explaining equating them as same. |
