Is it to think they are just there for the sake of been there which would b a religionists' responde, or for curious minded people to study them under Archaeology, Anthropology, Palaeontology, Evolution and Genetics in order to know how they got there, why they have such structures. Have you heard about carbon dating before?

My candid question to you and all religionists and their ignorant defenders is..........if those of you smart enough to at least accept the fact that truly do these fossils exists including the ones of Dinosaurs...then who/what put them there in wherever they are been excavated today? There really is a huge gulf between micro and macro evolution. the reason atheists like to cry about it being an "artificial distinction" is solely because their only "proof" for macro evolution is MICRO evolution! Once you make that separation, all of a sudden their "empirical evidence" claims fall to pieces. They are clearly unable to justify macro evolution without micro evolution.

2. Micro and macro evolution rely on the same principles? Not really... micro evolution is provable in the lab, macro evolution is a speculative assumption that what happens on a micro scale is responsible for the macro evolution of man from primordial soup...

3. To accept one and reject the other is actually VERY PLAUSIBLE because both are not dependent on each other. Micro evolution is a very independent biological process that does not require macro evolution - a phenomenon that has absolutely no proof.

Anyway my opinion: Religion thrives largely on faith not logic so it would not be right to apply logic alone when answering a question like this.
According to religion, omnipotence is something that can only be applied to a Creator that lives in a realm that is greater than the earthly realm. As a result of this, the explanation of omnipotence or the definition of omnipotence would be different/much greater in the realm in which the Creator lives.
Understanding what omnipotence truly means is likely to be limited to those of us in a world in which intellectual processes are limited and not as great as what is taught by religions, to exist in the higher realms.
So my opinion is that we can only grasp part of the real meaning of omnipotence since we live in a world where it is not possible.

First if all,
the ancient Yorubas never sought for the origin of the universe hence your usage of Cosmology doesn't apply. Notice I used 'Yoruba Cosmogony' - been that the ancient Yorubas understood the world and beyond according to the extensive verses in Ifa.

It is somehow odd to use 'scientific cosmology' because Astronomy itself is branch of science wherein cosmology branches out as an area that strictly deals with investigating the origin of the universe and how its various component relate to each other, what laws governs them, etc point is while cosmology is exclusive to science, cosmogony isn't. Chinese cosmogony is different from Hindu cosmogony i.e. the way different culture, different cosmogony. Whatever the degree of knowledge of the universe to the ancient Yorubas is, it is from Ifa. Science too entered the 'cosmogony' fray with its own theoretical contributions fed from Cosmology. I hope you understand the difference.

Have you been ignoring the debates on evolution vs creationism? Creationism/intelligent design are not scientific. Evolution has more than enough evidence (transitional fossils, current human evolution etc). I laugh when you bring up "missing link" because it is an outdated idea of evolution

1)Majority of scientists- the same people that provide us with innovations in medicine, laptops etc

2) The catholic church; the oldest and most powerful christian denomination
