economia: As Evangelism is to Christainity, so is Jihad to the Islam. You are only partially correct, Jihad encompasses Dawah (Evangelism) and a host of other activities, the most important of which is the fight for the control of your soul (internal struggle). |
bubadaniel13: I don't know what is wrong with us in the country, can't we even appreciate a good thing. This is a landmark at least something is done, but some myopic people are still criticizing, oya go make your and bring gam make we use....Criticize? dude are u high on something? There's no landmark here, just another mockery of our security apparatus. |
As Mr. President continues to deliver, evidence terminates arguement. Vote GEJ in 2015, that's the only true-choice.
This statement just shows the inhuman absence of your conscience. How can you call him the 'only true-choice? You must be high on something. |
Acidosis: Fashola oya go and beg the military to save Lagosians.Like they saved the people in Yobe, Kano, Borno and Plateau abi? Abeg make una keep una military, we no want. |
Sagytarius: wrong use of words. It's DEFUSE and not DETONATE. Haba!It could be a controlled detonation. Like the type they used to clean up Ikeja Cantonment after the blasts. |
I love the song, a wonderful feel good yoruba song. D'banj is growing as a musician, more african and matured. NB: for those saying d'banj can't survive without don J, oyato trounces every song on that trashy album called 'Solar plexus'. |
Billyonaire: GTB, that bank. They have several unhealthy policies, one of them is, you cant transfer money from their savings account to another bank. And I try to raise draft to pay into another bank, they say, you cant raise draft on a savings account. (Meanwhile other banks I use do it ). And when I move the funds to checking account and apply for draft, they charged me 85,000 for a 8m draft. Imagine First Bank charged me 46,000 for 27m draft. I tire for GTB. I no get power to fight these corporate thieves. What the hell are you talking about? Why the Bleep do you think its called a Savings account? |
Do you have HTC Sensation? |
antitpiah: POC: Yoruba bank. On this one, let each person answer hin papa name.@ all PLEASE IGNORE THIS PHOOL. I am so ashamed to call him my yoruba brother. |
Thank God least he his a live issue of insecurity in nigeria is beging to take dangerous dimemsion.
This is worse than a 'gbagaun', its totally incoherent. Abeg no tear my belle oo ![]() ebamma: i hope say dis guy no plan him own kidnapping?how he wan write ransom letter? ![]() |
FXKing2012: OK, I accept no pix watsoever shld be used cos no one has a true knowledge of what our Lord Jesus looked liked while He was here on earth. Pls I need the Muslims to help my ignorance, is there any picture depicting Mohammed?Yes, there are a few but very graphical description of Muhammad. |
post pics for the sensation. |
redsun: How on earth can a bigoted minded person like u become a moderator in a suppose impatial and progressive forum? No wonder this place has turn to miniature nigeria,a place where intolerance and primitive tribal sentiment thrive over reasoning and collective progress. So criticizing a fumbling govt. and singing praises of a hard working governor is bigotry? Grow up dude. |
Dangote is not a tribalist, he's just a very savvy businessman. Allowing IBETO to import cement and sell at lower or at the same rate with a locally produced Dangote Cement will be suicide for his investments in his local plants. Why should the FGN give import waivers to ibeto when we have local plants employing thousands of Nigerians? |
owobokiri: Mr Chika should be FORCED to deliver the baby through his joystick! If you are in favour of this motion say 'aye'. .AYE!! AYE!! AYE!! AYE!! AYE!! AYE!! AYE!!AYE!!AYE!! Someone should just send this guy to Israel already and let him taste what the jews do with gays. |
Innalilahi wa ina illahi rajihun. May his soul rest in peace. |
Iranoladun:As long as there's no law that stops the CBN from granting licenses to islamic banks in Nigeria, that is sufficient for the 'Board of Directors' of the CBN to go ahead with it. |
ceejay80s: Have u heard of saint anthony bank, saint dominic bank, saint jude bank, saint charles bank? Then why will there be a mohammed bank?So because the christians didn't start it makes it illegal? BTW: Christian laws forbid ursury in business transactions. |
violent: What evidence do you have to prove that the Judge's statement must be very flawed? He's a Federal High court Judge and must have spent several years of his life studying and debating issues in Nigerian Law, what grounds do you have, either through experience or knowledge to challenge his claims? The fact that you choose to hurl insults at me rather than bring up a counter argument to the points I raised shows your level of bias and bigotry. I'll ask again; what part of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria forbids the CBN from granting license to a religious bank? How does Islamic banking affect you? |
Islamic banking again? I tire for this islamophobists oo. The Judge's statement is very flawed and if he had ruled in favour of Godwin, the CBN would have had the judgement easily thrown out at the Supreme Court. The judge knows this hence his locus standii excuse, there is no law that states that the CBN cannot issue a license to a bank to run Islamic banking. I don't know what all the fuss is about, heck! There are Church-owned Universities in Nigeria that forces all students to take bible study classes, is that NUC approved? Nigeria is a secular state, where you're free to practice ur religion as long as it doesn't infringe on others, so unless someone can tell me how Islamic banking affects you now and not some conspiracy crap, y'all can stop making noise and let's move on to more pressing issues. |
You can write a webapp to monitor google alerts of articles from Nigeria containing certain keywords that relates to government spending and budget. my 2 cents. ![]() |
Why is this not on the front page yet? For Gods sakes this is more useful than all that Linda Ikeji crap that keeps popping up on the front page. |
Siga: Boateng na omo Ghana and Ozil born in Germany to Turkish parentsOezil's parents were also born in Germany, its his Grandfather that's a Turkish immigrant. Nuff said..#TeamGermany noni |
Torrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gomez is pure class |

#TeamBayern is really reping tonight. 8 starters!! |
achi4u: After over 55years of ww11 when Germans build a supersonic warship and a gigantic submarine boat to conquer europe and even the entire world.Una don start again abi? What aircraft did they build in Biafra? Are u talking about the refurbished french jets? What rocket launcher did they build? Can we please see pictures of the war factory in Biafra? Ogbunigwe is just a cluster bomb that can be built by anyone with a decent background in engineering moreover cluster bombs just like nuclear and chemical bombs are discouraged by the UN in wars because of its fatal nature. Please stop sensationalization of simple things. BTW: the title of this thread is an embarrassment, that clearly is a patrol boat not a warship. Kudos to the engineers and the Nigerian Navy in general for this modest feat, kudos to GEJ for commissioning our 1st patrol/gun boat but please let this be the launch pad for something greater, South Africa is already building helicopters don't embarrass us by making this a big deal. |
crusufixo: What would now happen to the newly employed doctors. This does not make sense. Would they now sack them ?, cos on the long run, the state government would still have to spend more in paying these new doctors, which is almost the same thing ( if not less) as the increment the doctors were fighting for in the first place. You still don't get the govt stance. Its not about the money, the highest ranked consultant will only get about 90k more if its implemented. Its about the selfishness of the leaders of the doctors union, most of the snr consultants do not support the strike and actually find it embarrassing, rather than fighting for improved medical facilities they're holding us hostage for their own personal gains. |
gregg2: The reinstated doctors were eitherStop peddling lies abeg, those on leave were never given query much less sacked. They are not part of the 788 fired for gross misconduct. |
Shareboyz! Shareboyz!! Shareboyz!!! So u're no longer a virgin now, you con dey use eye scope all the babes for your area abi? Buh seriously, how can you love someone you don't know, doesn't that go against the difinition of love? |
I read lines and lines and lines AND MORE LINES of blame but I couldn't find any line blaming we Nigerians. What have we as individuals done for our country? It seems the only thing we are particularly good at is complaining! So far what good has our complaints done? We are always blaming govt of corruption but the fact remains that we ourselves are corrupt in our own little ways. If you've thrown a pure water sachet on the ground don't argue this point with me. I personally feel that the state of the country is a MESS, however, i have given up complaining and have decided to do something about it. What about you?
Mr man, this thread is about GEJs performance in the past year not who to blame for Nigeria's problems. Its disheartening in the least to see the kind of govt that will rule us for the next 3yrs. God help us all. |
Who cares what new unilag will bear? It won't affect the shitty standard of education we have here. There are more pressing issues like the electricity price hike in a few days time and the plan to remove the subsidy totally. Silly students protesting over aesthetics while their future is been flushed down the drain. |
