Hmm ,..you are doing well for your self bro.20 HEC ain't joke considering the work on sesame seed.Ths best option though would be to evade planting this seed during heavy out pouring if one is not a PRO yet ,it can be very disastrous and make you run mad when it comes to lose. The August planting stands out as the best season to do .You want to tell me to apply PARAQUAT HERBICIDE ON SESAME SEED( that should be for consumption world wide) ?No white man Would encourage that sir and that's part of the major reason we advice people to keep away the idea of planting when the rains are heavy. quote author=Esude007 post=126544638]It does well during raining season, but it doesn't like been submerged in water... What affects it's taste ia rancidity... U can make it dry fast in two days after hervest by spraying paraquat on it ... It will dry in two days... I done teach u better thing o.... Sorry for the late response... I have a 20 hectare of this awaiting hervest in few days... I am very busy on the farm[/quote] 1 Like |

Hmmmm .. there are conditions to be met before you can start thinking of one bag and above. Now let me be very simple and adopt the market woman method. I have a plot of 100*120 around my house here ,planted or broadcasted a MUDU and Half (using Urea fertilizer on the fairly fertile land)amd got TWO basons. Lots of questions come up here ...I am..speaking like a northerner since I come from this part.the size of the bad been used in the said state matters too.I am here in NASSARAWA state were we use basically between size 30-31 (bag).this 20contains 4andhalf basons of the seeds. While size 31contaims 5basons of the sesame seed .That's about 25 -28 rubber painter. That size 30-31 is way more than the average 100kg bags you guys are accustomed to.so you can make your deduction on what you want to achieve. To be a bitore transparent, we do not just 'set target for our selves over this product,it goes way way beyond that as lots of factors come into play: adequate rain fall, planting at the right time and season, adequate manure to cater for the soil deficiencies, pest attack application at the right time , and harvesting at the right time too.A measure or 'mudu:as rightly called here costs about #1,600 at the peak of planting and can be more some times. bassdow: 1 Like |

Young kids of this generation. Very ignorant and arrogant ,we tend to take for levity what should be handled with total care and value.we just like showing up for comparism and vanity of purpose .if this one had succeded over this idea, it would now become a doctrine to be well practiced by all from the 'error of ballam' 2 Likes |

Sesame seed does not like excessive rain, so it's not planted during heavy rains, it will totally not produce to taste. The Best Season to consider planting this should be August to November /December and April-July (early season of rains when it's still quite light lest you loose it totally)is the other season ,though most famers do not venture in to this first season (April to July )as it is a high risk planting .I live up north and I can tell you none of us on this axis dare the April planting ,we rather go for the August planing as it gives us perfect yield with all factors been considered. Mine is already fruiting as we speak (planted using broadcasting method ) on 25th August so we are two months up or so.planting sesame seed is quite simpler compare to most of the other crops we look at, partly because "IT DOESN'T NEED WEEDING"! unlike maize ,Beans and even Egusi .It always try to compete with Egusi in market price so we call it Egusi's Sister ! 20 Likes 2 Shares |

Ahahaha, I like the 'Lecturing' part sir.I noticed this generation is gradually or rather swiftly loosing manners and decorum of social behavioural skills and relationship blaming introversion for this ,It's a blatant error. You need to enter the education sector and meet very depressed kids claiming introverts ,I laugh because I know parents are failing in thier responsibilities and we must air this out. I am a public speaker too, imagine 'forming introvert' with people that are supposed to invite you for workshops and symposiums ..ahhhh ,"you go dry with hunger at home with your family".This is not for me as I most times wanna drag issues because of my temperament like; I don't want to call /visit and even see anyone most times..I just want to keep inside my shell and face my internet all day but.. this won't help me and my future ,so, I dust out my poor inter personal relationship skill and get going all out to make contacts and establish good business and once in a while I withdraw back to gather back my lost energy (as a true introvert). That's how I have been sailing for decades . boladez: 1 Like 1 Share |

Thank you for quoting me ,I am.not of the opinion that been an introvert makes one dumb ,..I only said for the number of years I have spent as an academia I have found out that we Make contact with more introverts than any other sector of influence.Kids got bad grades and the excuse from the parents is that the child's introvercy is responsible ,..A mature child chooses to ignore adult rather than pay full respect as real Africans that we are ,but we get the "defence guard "that introverts don't just like to greet ! ! Those are slef destructive excuses we all must do away with in our lives if we REALLY want to move up the ladder of leadership..if most of us introverts can modify our attitude and grow in terms of social relationship and value adding ,we would likely have better speed of accomplishment than we do have now.An introvert working with a group at the office isn't expected to be a snubb or work alone ,such opportunity should be harnessed to improve on your interpersonal skills in communication, and social relationship which inturn makes you more ready to face the life battles ahead. boladez: 3 Likes |

Yes you are.honestly the risks of living up north is lower than that of the south ,it's just that people have fears and that is a very good factor to consider in ones life though.Life up north is relatively peaceful and serene than any other part of the Nig,no unhealthy competition like una people want die for money and unecessary fame over there ,but like I said people still grow here wit focus and vision like some of us here have and we are testimonies. Just know the barriers and keep at them, don't come and do "Deborahs" style here or" over sabi for religion" in Islamabad territory, you will def not make it out alive . Love800: |

Industrially ,North is at dis advantage , even when you have organisations like few offices around ,the pay is gonna be very poor due to the cost of living and patronage there.so if you are the type that love sharp growth and succes, you won't be patient to wait o.if you reside within Lagos/oyo/Ogun/port/bayelsa/ESO/etc, you are likely to get jobs with pay ranging between 100k to 300k and even way beyond, but for north ahahahaha!! You can only get that in your dreams. But the federal offices there like NNPC are the major ones that pay that much. But with your small pay say #80-100k ,you can grow into an enviable entrore if you have vision and focus.
