Even the north itself admits that it is backward. I've been following your dishonest and unreliable posts and as soon as I read the nonsense about how Hausa Fulanis are amongst the wealthiest and most educated in Africa, you made me realize that your lack of principles is even greater than your lack of intelligence seunolu7: |
President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerian leaders and politicians to imitate ex-President Goodluck Jonathan as he felicitates him on his 64 birthday. According to a statement by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, on Tuesday, Mr Buhari believed Mr Jonathan’s profile should remind those in position and all aspiring leaders that ”serving the country and humanity requires sacrifice, and ultimately placing the interest of others above personal gains.” He congratulated Mr Jonathan for serving Nigeria and working for the peace and advancement of democracy on the African continent. Mr Buhari noted that the ex-president had continued to expand the boundaries of leadership, teaching many in the country the power of focus, consistency and diligence. He also noted with delight that Mr Buhari had served as deputy governor, governor, vice president, president, African Union envoy and now, chairman of the International Summit Council for Peace Africa (ISCP-Africa). ISCP-Africa is an association of incumbent and former heads of state and their deputies, established in 2019 by the Universal Peace Federation, an organization in general consultative status with the United Nations. The president prayed for Mr Jonathan’s continued good health and all-round well-being. You see, Bubu has always been a serial failure. He couldn't pass any of the promotion exams in the military. But Bubu was never the kind of man to let his lack of intelligence stand in the way of his ambition. Even after he staged the coup against the Shagari regime, it was actually Tunde Idiagbon who was the brains behind the operation. This is one of the the reasons why Bubu is so loyal to Sanni Abacha and such a useful errand boy. It was because Abacha was willing to overlook Bubu's intellectual shortcomings and appoint him to the high profile role of being in charge of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) which helped both Bubu and his benefactor to become overnight billionaires. In a way, you have to acknowledge that Bubu is the luckiest man ever to have president of this country because his low IQ and poor academic credentials should at best have qualified him to be an office messenger or driver, but somehow he became president of country twice on the basis of sheer luck. It's one of the most remarkable stories of over-achievement in the history of the world. |
The best that you and I can do or anybody else is to just tell them the truth. If they reject it, that is their own funeral and they will answer for it on judgment day. SarutobiEky: |
Yes o! It is even worse than that. It is a satanic religion created by the devil to lead millions of people into hell fire. They stole a few things from the Bible to make their religion credible, but they added a lot of lies and garbage. Very filthy religion. SarutobiEky: |

In the koran, a story is told of how Muhammad humiliated one of his followers, a blind man called Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum who interrupted him when he was meeting with the rich and powerful leaders of the idol worshippers. And what did Abdullah the Blind Man want from Muhammad which was so bad? Abdullah was only begging his prophet to teach him islam. Abdullah stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me of that which Allah has taught you But because Abdullah was blind, he could not see that his beloved prophet was entertaining some distinguished and high ranking visitors at the time. As can be seen in the relevant tafseer, Muhammad was embarrassed by Abdullah's presence because he thought that the rich and powerful rulers would see Abdullah and conclude that Muhammad's followers were made up of "poor lowly and blind slaves." The Tafseer actually says that "signs of annoyance" appeared on Muhammad's face because he was deeply embarrassed by Abdullah Bin Umm Maktum's presence. When Muhammad's followers heard about the incident, resentment began to grow among them over the mean and callous way that their fellow muslim had been mistreated for the benefit of unbelievers. So how did Muhammad get out of this predicament? Did he perform a miracle and restore Abdullah's sight like Jesus would have done? No. Instead allah (who was also powerless to restore Abdullah's sight) revealed a very convenient koranic verse which made excuses for Muhammad's crude behaviour towards Abdullah: Surah 80:1-12So rather than punish Muhammad for his behaviour, allah revealed a verse which said that whenever muhammad sees Abdullah in the future, he should just say: “Welcome to the one about whom my Lord has rebuked me!” This is simply more evidence that Islam is a joke masqurading as a religion and it cannot be taken seriously by anyone with a functional brain. |
Jega: "Major indices of development show that the North is backwards on all fronts. He attributed the “terrible statistics” to poor northern leaders" Story by AHMED OLUWASANJO • NOVEMBER 15, 2021 Former chairman of INEC, Attahiru Jega, says Northern Nigeria is the headquarters of poverty, insecurity and host of other problems in the country because leaders from the region are selfish and lack vision for development. “The major indices of these crises manifested themselves from the northern part of this country, whether it is poverty, youth unemployment, security challenges, maternal mortality, out-of-school children, lack of girl-child education and early marriage as well as the challenge of reproduction of our females,” Mr Jega said. “Anything you can think of, the terrible statistics come from the northern part of this country. And why is it so? That is the key question.” Mr Jega made this statement on Monday at a lecture in honour of the late northern icon, Maitama Sule. The event was organised by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) and was held at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, Katsina. While eulogising both late Mataima Sule; a diplomat and politician, and Premier of Northern Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello, for their selfless leadership, Mr Jega berated other leaders in the region as selfish and visionless. “Today, we remember the Maitama Sule, the Ahmadu Bellos, Isa Katais and many others. These were people who led and protected the North and ensured that the North developed in accordance with its ability and their own abilities as leaders. While we cherish the memories of what had happened in the past, what kind of leadership have we got from the Northern part of this country?” Mr Jega said. “We have so-called leaders who are selfish, who are not selfless, greedy, who have a narrow vision in terms of how this country can develop, not to talk about the region where they come from. They really lack intellectual capacity to be classified as leaders.” President Muhammadu Buhari, former military dictators, Sani Abacha, Murtala Mohammed, Ibrahim Babangida, Yakubu Gowon, and even many contemporary northern leaders have in the past been criticised for not doing much to emancipate the vast population of poor and illiterate masses of the North. https://gazettengr.com/norths-selfish-visionless-leaders-made-it-nigerias-region-of-poverty-problems-jega/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost |

There are indigenous Yorubas in the Niger Delta such as the Ilajes in Delta State or the Akoko Edos in Edo State and their are indigenous Yorubas in the Middle Belt/North such as in Kwara and Kogi States. They also exist in Benin Republic and Togo. Likewise, indigenous Igbos in the South South don't have to prove their status because they are already accepted as indigenes and natives of their respective localities. For example, in Cross River state, Liyel Imoke who is an ethnic Igbo man was elected as State Governor. Over in Rivers State, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi and Nyesom Wike are ethnically Igbos but they identify as Niger Delta within the context of Nigerian politics. The question is, if they are given the choice of either forming their own country or remaining in Nigeria, which one are they more likely to choose? tsdarkside: |
In addition to listening to your own advice, maybe a functional brain and a basic understanding of history will help you. For over 300 years before the First Crusade, muslims had been trying to to conquer and islamize Europe. The Battle of Tours was just the first attempt on a large scale, but it ended in a disastrous defeat for the Umayyads. After their defeat, they limited themselves to small scale attacks on isolated Christian communities to avoid a recurrence of what happened at the Battle of Tours. This went on for many years and the muslims became emboldened to commit worse atrocities. This was what led Pope Urban II (pope 1088–1099), to call for the First Crusade. In fact in his letter to the Crusaders, he describes in detail the evils inflicted by muslims on Christian communities in the Middle East and they sound a lot like what ISIS did more recently: From the confines of Jerusalem and the city of Constantinople a horrible tale has gone forth and very frequently has been brought to our ears, namely, that a race from the kingdom of the Persians [in fact, Muslim Turks] . . . has invaded the lands of those Christians and has depopulated them by the sword, pillage and fire; it has led away a part of the captives into its own country, and a part it has destroyed by cruel tortures; it has either entirely destroyed the churches of God or appropriated them for the rites of its own religion. They destroy the altars, after having defiled them with their uncleanness.... What shall I say of the abominable rape of the women? To speak of it is worse than to be silent.... Next time actually pick up a history book instead of telling sensational lies. engrchykae: |
It is not uncommon for muslims to make the claim that Allah has no partners. |
