A friend just got a UK MULT visit visa to travel from July. He intends to side step into Germany from UK for a weekend to visit a friend at Aachen, Germany. Pls will it be easy for him to get the German tourist visa from Naija to enter Germany from THE UK? WILL the German consulate be amenable to his application for Shengen since he has a live valid UK visa on his passport? Also what does he need to present in this case (esp this Insurance cover thingy)[/size]

It will be easy offcourse,He still need to provide financial means and its much more easier if he is a frequent traveller who has been to usa,canada,uk or any schengen state within a year or so.This kind of person does not even need to book an appointment just make sure you go to the embassy as early as 6 30 am.

Yeah just normal interview,Do not stutter,Be sure of every answers,offcourse be confident too,Just normal questions and answer but most important reasons of going and prove that you will be back.It doesnt take much time.

Yes because once the shipper can issue you an invitation letter,It really would make alot of sense and show your seriousness and honest.Offcourse the shiiper must have registered his company in deutschland/Germany.You can pay them through bank transfer i guess.Then you can book your hotel too.

Bro it would have been good if you can get the shipper that helped you to send 2 cars from Hamburg then to send you an invitation letter since you are going there again for business.

Among the list that i gave you earlier.Kassel universitat is a uni assist member nd uni trier is not uni assist but charge 50euro for processing document.Other you can apply by sending your applications directly.

You cannot boycott them,That is the ministry of education for free state of bayern,They need to make sure that your WAEC RESULT OR TRANSCRIPT is recognized,You are not going to be the one to send them the documents,It must come from either the university or waec office.Waec send directly to that ministry in bayern.The ministry issue the letter but you must apply to a university in bayern first,so as to get the annekenung stelle forms with their address in punderplatz.The main thing you need now is the recognition letter from the ministry of bayern and its called bescheid,Take note that english and yoruba/ibo/hausa is very important in your o level result,without any of these subjects your chances are low,The embassy still there oo cos they also make this important.

Your questions can be answered here and its very easy to apply to schools,You do not need to e mail them,They mostly welcome e mail messages once the school received your documents and confirmed everything,They will create a file for you and you will be given file number,That way you are known by the school international office and you can always e mail/call them everytime.You can not send them e mails and ask silly questions sorry,Because they have all informations that you need on their website.


1 Check the school deadline most schools January 15, and june 15 for both winter and summer
2 check does the school belongs to uni assist or not
3 check do they have your course,If you are applying as an undergraduate you need to also make sure that the school have preparatory course( studienkolleg)
4 Have you found the course that you need (Go to download and get their application form)
5 Fill correctly and attach to your supporting documents with a copy of your international passport(Information page) Make sure you certify them maybe at the german embassy preferably.Its free every mon- thur 8am-11am.
6 Does the school belongs to uni assist (Go to uniassist.de) for more info
7If the school doesn't belong to uni assist,Send your applications to them directly but only using the school international office address,Once its delivered they will contact you right away and you are already on your way to sucesss.
8 Take note that schools in free state of bayern do not use uni assist but getting the admission in that state is good but really a long way to go.Just FYI

holuphisayor: The reason is that the course i applied for in germany starts by september,2013 and would require a year language program before starting the degree program. Whereas,i applied for another school in austria that would start by february,2014 but doesn't require german preparatory course. So,my main point is if i got the admission to the school in austria i might decide to forfeit the german language class if i find it difficult to learn.

My advice,Do not create problem for yourself oo,face Germany first oo and before you can even decide on moving around stay focus before switching and dont mess up,You only leave naija with 3 months visa,I think passing your exams should be your main priority,If you should go this way to the interview room na gbege oo if you are not careful you might still write exam during interview self,so still stick to your german language.

My brother I wouldn't advice you pay for flight ticket yet please because of the below listed reasons..
1...if you don't get the visa(God forbid),you might not get your money back
2.,,the consular/vo might think you are desperate for the visa, that's why you bought the ticket cos its written on their site that you must bring flight itinerary NOT ticket

also i want to book for the hotel online with my credit card details showing all my names as it is on the passport.. but they wont reduct the cash until i arrive there

Bro for you to be at the safer end yes i advice you pay for your airline,You know they dont believe nigerians anymore most especially tourists,Yes booking with the hotel through their websites personally,Just pay for at least 2 days or so,If they ask you during your interview why you paid for just 2 days,You can easily tell them that you might arrive at the hotel and not like there service and you might have the option of changing the hotel.I am not just saying but its experience,Like i said if you do not have all these stuff the consular 1 at the gate will spoil your day.Thats the truth.

If you can afford Lufthansa go for it.

whats your means of finance? You can also get traveler cheque showing that you have budget of 60 euro per day for the few days that you're gonna spend in Germany.

You better prepare and listen to me

1 ,You need a booked hotel for at least 3 days which shows your name as its shown on your passport,If not you wont even meet the consular,Hey there is a guy at the gate i gave him the nickname consular 1,He is so harsh,You must arrange your documents and once again,your hotel confirmation must show your name corresponding to the names on your passport( Contact any hotel for that,you can pay them by bank trf or credit card dont let any agent deceive you oo dont listen to touts on walter carrington street oo

2. You must have booked your flight ticket confirming that you are coming back home,It must also show your name corresponding to names on your passport,If not these guy at the gate consular 1 will disgrace you early momo.

3.You must have a valid insurance before going to the embassy,contact aiico insurance or maybe mutual benefit or so.

4.Make sure you go there with 2 photocopies,original documents followed by photocopies each,don't separate original from photocopies if not consular 1 will disgrace you.

5 Be well composed and be sure that your documents are intact.Once you pass consular 1 at the gate to the entrance then,it means your documents are intact then you are on your way to visa room,As for your visa fee,make sure you go there with change ooo.Do not forget biometric passport photograph,check the german website for the size.fill your form and anti terror form.Please be punctual if not the mopol be abokis oo..
