God be praised Therefore, let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap For obvious reasons during rainy season, there are some environmental issues, such as flooding, erosion, waste and pollution thereby creating some potential for disease prevalence in terms of contamination and pollution of water systems leading to waterborne diseases. Managing these issues requires joint responsibility of the government and the people. The government sets the regulations, policies and guidelines for environmental protection and waste management, its the responsibility of the populace to comply with the requirements for environmental protection. Responsibility begins with knowledge and awareness on the impact of some of those actions or inactions regarding environmental protection and waste management This is because when everyone becomes aware of the impact of environmental degradation, indiscriminate waste disposal and pollution on their health, everyone will realize that protecting the environment is actually protecting lives. Therefore, let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap- so if you are aware that what you are doing is protecting the environment and invariably saving your life, then you will take responsibility. Of course government takes the leading role in providing policies, laws, framework and infrastructures such as landfills, dump sites, corporate organisations and individuals can invest in waste treatment facilities and advocacies in environmental protection and waste management to promoting sound and sustainable environmental management initiatives. Government plays the leading roles by creating the enabling environment and enforcement of compliance with regulations and guidelines to ensuring the goals of sustainable environmental management are achieved. You dont just dump waste carelessly. There are ways to handle the different categories of waste. Some can be hazardous, while some are domestic/ non-hazardous, some can also be inert waste while others are radioactive. Meanwhile some of the people who generate these waste dont give attention to the category of waste or know if it's within permissible limits for discharge into the environment. For instance you see people discharging spent hydrocarbons products like lube oil, waste oil into open drains and soil with impunity, they discharge it anyhow without recourse to the impact of those substance on the environmental media such as soil, ground water. This is where government and corporate bodies come in to create awareness on waste management and environmental protection. It is expected that the people will take responsibility once they know what the law stipulates, and information regarding waste management facilities. There are private-public partnership initiatives just like we have in Lagos. This provides the leverage for people to keep their wastes in their homes where waste trucks will come and pick them up to the dump site or landfill. In that wise, people have confidence but If that is not in place the significant population will have no choice than to dispose the waste in their most convenient way. That's how and why it is shared responsibility between the population and the government. In relations to the rest of the world, we know our institutions are not matured, our systems and processes are not yet strong. Take for instance In other parts of the world where you build per approved design and those designs will incorporate the plan for sewage disposal, so you don't release your effluent into the drain. There are sewers, septic tanks that will aggregate those and transport them to a sewage treatment plant which is central, here we don't have such facilities so people have no choice than to release their effluent, like wastewater from the bathroom going into the drain because there are no systems or structures to aggregate those effluent to the treatment plant. This is a remarkable difference between us and the developed world where these systems are in place. Same thing can be applied with solid wastes. Such an interesting experience knowing that our work at Principles and Application of Environmental Impact Assessment (EiawithBenard) is saving lives and protecting the planet Earth. Very interesting to know that what you are bringing to the table goes a long way to protect our support system for living. You too, can let your contributions add value. ABOUT EIAwithBenard The expression Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), is a globally accepted tool used by environmental experts to systematically assess the cause-effect relationship between development activities and environmental sustainability as man continues his widespread and almost unabated development of his immediate environment. Dr. Benard Omoyeni is the Author of the renowned EIA book titled: Principles and Application of Environmental Impact Assessment, a book that is widely circulated among the tertiary institutions of learning in Nigeria and accepted for sales on Amazon.com Jesus is Lord!

GODSPOWERPROJECT If you try to hide your sins, God will reveal them. “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Num. 32:23). I remember an incident that occurred when I was a boy that serves as an excellent example of this scripture truth. A man killed his neighbor, wrapped a chain around him, and dropped his body into one of the log ponds at the saw mill. The man who died was named Mr. Rice. There was no explanation for Mr. Rice’s disappearance. Because his body was not found, his wife thought he had run off and left her; so after a period of years she was remarried. Ten years went by. Then one day the murderer, who was working at the log pond, said to a fellow worker, "I buried a grain of rice in these waters ten years ago, and it didn’t sprout.” The man he was talking to began to think of how his friend, Mr. Rice, had disappeared ten years ago and had never been found. He went to the legal authorities with his story, and a new investigation was begun. They decided to drag the pond; and when they did, a man’s skeleton was found with a chain wrapped around it. After all those years, the man who killed Mr. Rice was put in prison. His sin ultimately found him out. I don’t know what happened to him, whether he received the death sentence or a prolonged prison term; but he paid a penalty for his actions. The devil won’t let you keep quiet. That man had to make some remark, even if only in jest. If you try to hide your deeds, you will never make it. Your sins will find you out. The Bible says some men’s judgment goes ahead and some men’s judgment follows after. (1 Tim. 5:24.) If you don’t confess and ask forgiveness, you will have to stand before God and answer for it. So many unsolved crimes and uncontested sins will be accounted for at the great Judgment Seat of God. Many hidden mysteries will come to light at that time. My friend, if there is anything in your life that is hidden, I want you at this moment to ask God to forgive you for it. Ask God to come into your heart and into your life. Excerpt from Unprovoked Murder by Lester Sumrall.

GODSPOWERPROJECT 4 NAONSP The remains of Mr. Oluwashola Kadiri, late husband of the Director of Public Affairs of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Folashade Kadiri, were laid to rest on Friday, 12th of August, 2022 at the Private Vaults, Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos. Mr. Kadiri, popularly called ‘Solar,’ an accomplished businessman, died on 28 July, 2022, after a brief illness. The funeral service held at Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, commenced with the processional hymn, ‘Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia! The strife is o'er, the battle done; the victory of life is won; the song of triumph has begun, Alleluia!’ In his message, Vicar of Christ Anglican Church, Oworoshoki, Revd. Canon Garba Ibrahim Rika who presided at the service reminded the congregation about the inevitability of death for every human being, adding that individuals should endeavour to make positive impact on people and leave the society better than they met it. He stated that Mr. Oluwashola Kadiri touched many lives meaningfully and should be emulated by all and sundry. He, however, charged the congregation not to be found wanting in rendering assistance to the less privileged and downtrodden in society. In a tribute, the wife of the deceased, Folashade, described him as a great family man, personal friend and confidant, a workaholic and good-natured fellow, who lived a rancour-free life and held no grudge against anyone. In her words: "Dearly beloved, as you take those glorious steps, down the long lonely road, towards the waiting hands of our Lord, please remember to look back at intervals, to your loved ones you left behind, and assume your new role of a guardian angel; watching over and praying for us without ceasing. "I must also inform you ‘Solar’, that it is not all tears upon your early transition. We got consolation from numerous testimonies of friends, acquaintances and others, all affirming your eventful life that permanently impacted humanity." According to her, "I am deeply filled with immense gratitude to God Almighty, who made it possible for Oluwashola to have lived a life worthy of emulation. It has been a long journey of over 25 years together with him and I find it difficult to say good-bye here on earth. “I am, however, consoled that my beloved husband has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord and has fulfilled the desire of every Christian which is to one day leave this sinful earth and meet our maker in heaven just like Oluwashola has done. “I am also comforted in my hope and prayers that Oluwashola and I would one day meet again to part no more, at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.” The children of the deceased, Olasunkanmi and Olamide, also extolled the virtues of their father. According to them, “we thank God for your life, as I remembered days we argued about football, world politics or random days I just chose to challenge you on a random topic because it was one of the best ways to get great insights from you. We even shared mutual interest in our love for cars and art.” According to Olamide, “I can’t bring myself to write this because a part of me is still waiting for you to come home and say “Olamide Kadiri” while rubbing my head. I never could have asked for a better father, you showed me I could achieve anything in life if I could only put my mind to it. You worked hard and played even harder, never failing to be there for your family and friends." Scores of LAWMA staff led by the management team to the service, which commenced at 10am., joined wife of the deceased, her children, family, friends and well wishers to pay their last respect to the departed business tycoon. In the tribute, e-Signed by the Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni described Mrs. Kadiri as a woman with rare ability to combine traumatic personal pressure, with demanding official responsibilities, without portraying negative emotions. According to him, “She is the kind of woman I would describe as the real amazon, having the uncanny ability to cope with tense personal situations, yet found not wanting at work. "The management and staff of LAWMA stand firm with you at this profoundly challenging period even as we unanimously pray that God will comfort you, your children and the extended family of your husband." The two days programme commenced on Thursday, 11th of August, 2022 with the wake-keep which was held at the Beehive School Hall, Alausa CBD, Ikeja and it enabled family, friends, associates, partners, well-wishers and mates from his Alma Mata pay their tribute. The wake-keep and interment were attended by notable dignitaries, including present and past Permanent Secretaries, Special Advisers, Managing Directors, Directors in the Public Service, business tycoons, among others. e-Signed Michael Joseph Asst. Director Public Affairs, LAWMA 12th August, 2022.

Wema Bank recently released its second quarter unaudited financial result for the period ended June 30, 2022, showing a 50 percent increase in its Gross Earnings from N39.82 billion recorded in 2021 to N59.59 billion H1 2022. 'With a transaction value of N131.5 billion, USSD recorded over 58.6 million in transaction count (+55%), reaffirming our focus to grow channel usage. "Mobile banking users completed over 42.8 million transactions within the review period, further driving the financial inclusion initiative. "With over 50% growth in agent acquisition, our agency banking base increased to 140k accounts, at the end of the six months review period (H1 2021: >102k). This helps to further enhance performance across our financial inclusion initiatives. The value of agency funds transfer closed at N7.59bn in H1 2022, a 34% y-o-y growth. The stellar growth in agency transfer volume by 550k% was driven by signing-on of new partners", he said. According to the Wema Bank MD, the bank's agency banking solutions will continue to provide support to customers mostly in the rural areas and hard-to-reach regions of the country. "So far, we have over 21,000 agents attending to the financial service needs of these customers," Mr Adebise added. The bank's Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Tunde Mabawonku, said the results point to the resilience and growth trajectory of the bank during the review period. According to him, the bank has achieved efficiency in its balance sheet by managing growing deposits and rising interest rate. He also disclosed the bank has achieved an efficient mix of its deposit portfolio by bringing down the cost of funds. Mabawonku hinted the bank's N40 billion rights issue would open and be concluded during the year, a development he said would deliver more value to shareholders. ###

GODSPOWERPROJECT You & Your Kid- STAR When it comes to family life we all crave an ideal parent-child relationship which is not an easy feat but for the grace of God. Positive parenting is every parent's dream. As such, parents, as 'gardeners' should try to recognize children's personalities and find ways of nourishing them. There's a balance of where to set boundaries, encourage and discourage. Parents should be a child's best friend so as to earn the child's trust and boost confidence in the parent, which will enable good rapport. There's no hard and fast rule about parenting due to individual differences in both parent and child. But with good rapport and understanding, parent-child relationship can be strengthened Moral values, good manners and discipline should be instilled as the child is growing. A child should be raised with and in love to have an all rounder. Parents should have listening ears, it is then that the child can talk to the parent on matters of concern. Children are bound to make mistakes but they should be corrected with love. Parents need to remember that there's a generational gap between themselves and children. Also remember that children learn whatever they see in the parents (they learn by observation)- the more reason why parents need to be good role models. To qualify as a successful parent requires the help of God and a lot of qualities. Being angry most times is not the best. Even when angry, one needs to be calm and rational. Physical and verbal abuse is not a good way of bringing up a child if they are not to be demoralized. Children improve when they are led by example, i.e. being shown the right way to act. They should also be made responsible when they are young. Teach them responsibilities, make them accountable for their actions. Appreciate them more. Ignore the negatives they might have done earlier. Reprimand them with love, let them know why they are being chastised. Children should be loved unconditionally. And problems should be solved with equanimity and compassion. Tips on raising good children 1. Teach them good manners 2. Nurture empathy in your child 3. Reward them (praise) 4. Be kind to them and respect them 5. Discipline consistently 6. Teach them to be thankful/ appreciative 7. Love your child unconditionally

GODSPOWERPROJECT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXQc20DErkI The Founder & Operations Director at Chariots PoP Works, Jude Odia, met with GODSPOWERPROJECT (GPP), and to the glory of God he featured on 'What is Your Exclusive Testimony'. Plastering back some 9000 years ago in between ancient history, the first documented use of the multifunctional plaster of Paris as a cast for injured limbs only took place some hundred years recently. However homeowners across Nigeria, especially the wealthy have just caught on the PoP fad. GODSPOWERPROJECT met Jude at a project location to discuss, among other things, PoP as well as opportunities -waiting to be explored- for Nigeria's creative youths. Talk about yourself and what you do My name is Odia Jude, from Esan part of Edo State, born in Benue, God has been taking me on a good journey so far. I'm into Plaster of Paris aka PoP, this is just one of our sites and projects. We have been working on this entire flat for a week now. I started doing this professionally in 2018. Long time ago I used to accompany my brother to sites and I just loved the beauty of the job. What attracted me was the fact that you can use PoP to create different things of your choice. You can use it to do ark, pillars, even construct a human figure. You can use PoP for many designs and they are all attractive. Those things really attracted me to the profession. Has the Job been Rewarding? So far so good it has been rewarding and there's a lot of advantage in it that takes me to different places I never thought I would be, different locations, states, meet different people. So many opportunities, even working for celebrities, Pastors, journalists. I've had the privilege of traveling to Port Harcourt, Ondo state, Ibadan, Osun state, Ogun state, Ghana, Benin Republic, passed through Togo, Glory be to God I attend a Commission that advises on studying- the Living Faith Commission led by Bishop David Oyedepo. How interesting is the experience? There are some well to do personalities in the society that I've had opportunity to get close to them because of this profession. I've been to some location that on a norms, if I was working in a particular place I would not know those locations. There are some Chairman in top estates that have like 5 houses and you will sit down with them and be negotiating due to this profession. Even top Pastors in Lagos here that you see their billboards everywhere, we have worked in their apartments. Worked in GRA, Lekki, VGC. Even one Chairman in one of the biggest estates on the mainland, after working, he gave me some extra cash. Even when he's going by and he sees me, he pauses and greets me for doing a nice job for him. It happens with other clients too. These are among interesting experiences on the job The locations that I've been going to are my interesting experiences and personalities too. There are lots of them. Or when a client took us out to a very nice eatery here in Lagos, and we enjoyed ourselves that day. Took a ride with her to the shopping mall, pictures, did some shopping and all that, client o, before even starting the work o. All these kind plenty plenty you understand as e dey go na. Experiences whereby you'll be working onsite and somebody will say 'wow, how do you people do this' and many more like when a client leaves a Duplex for you and travels out. You'll be taking care of the place while working. Beautiful experiences in beautiful houses. Most of all I really thank the Lord. What is Your Biggest & Exclusive Testimony? When I made a huge amount of money is my biggest testimony, my exclusive testimony is that there is never a week that there is no job for us. Every week by the grace of God we are always having jobs. My greatest testimony is that there will always be a building to work on and most interesting thing is, there are future testimonies still coming because every house you go nowadays you must find PoP. And that's just the trending thing, everybody wants to do PoP, because it is fine and as such we get jobs every week and we make sure to put in our best everytime, and people have been recommending us. What inspired the company name? By the grace of God when I read my spiritual book- The Bible, I see how chariots move people from one place to another, far back as ancient times as the first vehicular movement. Chariot cuts across different religions, everybody uses chariots, so when you are doing PoP everybody appreciates PoP. That's the inspiration. Most embarrassing moment? Was when my work knickers got torn while jumping from one scaffolding to another, and I had to go and get something elsewhere. This happened sometime last year. My boy was not around that day so I had to go buy things for myself, I was using coded to walk on the road. (Lol) Message to Public First of all, my advise to the young and coming up is that anything they find their hands doing they should do it very well. And again they should try to look for something that is self employed- like a handiwork or anything intellectual where they cannot be fired, even though they are working under someone. And anywhere you find yourself in a company, try to make an impact there. And try to look at something your Creator will support. The general public should patronize us o and everyone else who is into creative things, support us. And if there's anybody with the finance let them support creativity. People who are not into criminal activity but trying to make good things come to life. How would you be Remembered? As someone that carries others along to see the light. Despite this being my work, I try my best when I see a young man on the streets not really having a definite direction in life. I'll try to enlighten them in one or two areas with my personal experience, so I see that as carrying others along. And by the grace of God I have had the privilege of being able to do that and people have benefitted Hallelujah GODSPOWERPROJECT is a Kingdom Aggregator and Lifestyle Research and Development Channel, geared towards documenting and proclamation of GOD's Mighty Hand touching lives around the world in our millennium. https://www.instagram.com/p/CgTGD2zoe2M/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

GODSPOWERPROJECT-TV- What is Your Exclusive Testimony Generator Engineer Founder and lead engineer at Paul Engineering, Paul Abiodun appeared on GODSPOWERPROJECT-TV (www.fixit.ng) recently, as guest on 'What is your Exclusive Testimony'. While fixing a customer's generator, Paul had a brief documented discussion with GPP-pros (designated staffs) concerning what God has done for him to be where he is today. GODSPOWERPROJECT brings the excerpt "I've been in the generator engineering business like 15 years now. To start this business cost me some things, because before, I go to Ikeja go do house help before I see money to open shop. It really cost me some things but I thank God today. Lesson wey I learn, because I do farm, like dis sef I still dey do farm. Because Saturday and Sunday I go to my own farm but I thank God today everything is going smoothly. Before I am living there, my church is there and I was living inside that church before I see money to go and rent my own house, do everything. Naso d life go. My biggest testimony is I thank God for my life today because God has done so many things in my life because inside this work I get land, I never get moto, never build house o but I still get children I get wife I get everything, so we thank God.
