This stems from the robust security threat analysis carried out using global best standards to ascertain the trend of expectations for the electioneering processes. In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Force Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stayed that, "The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, has stated emphatically that there is no threat to the 2023 General Elections in the country. This stems from the robust security threat analysis carried out using global best standards to ascertain the trend of expectations for the electioneering processes." According to the statement, "The IGP disclosed this during the United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit (UNCOPS) in the United States of America and during his meeting with Mr. Todd D. Robinson, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, U.S. Department of States as part of events rounding up his attendance at the UN summit. During the meeting, discussions centered around enhancing support for the NPF training and capacity building programmes particularly the training of tactical units deployed in the North East and other conflict theatres across the country." Similarly discussed is the achievement of cascading the ongoing election security management training across the six geo-political zones in preparation for the 2023 general elections and support for police recruit training in modern policing themes such as forensic investigations, human relations and cyber security. www.trekafrica.net The Management of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has debunked the social media reports allegeding that, the Chairman of EFCC, Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa and former Chairman of the defunct Skye Bank, Mr. Tunde Ayeni are travelling together abroad on clandestine self serving mission. In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Agency's Head of Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren stated that, "The attention of the Commission has been drawn to a so-called “exclusive’’ news report making the rounds on social media to the effect that the EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa and former Chairman of the defunct Skye Bank, Mr. Tunde Ayeni, are travelling together, abroad, on a clandestine, self-serving mission." According to the statement, "The story, which vainly tries to push a certain malodorous agenda, is absolutely FALSE." If it were not for its potential to confound and confuse the unwary, the Commission would have ignored the story. However, there is every need to set the facts straight. To start with, there was never a meeting and certainly no “plan” between the EFCC Chair and Mr. Ayeni to go anywhere together. Furthermore, while the EFCC Chairman is at this time on an approved mission abroad, Ayeni, whom the fiction-turned-news story says is on a clandestine trip with Mr. Bawa, is, from checks, right here in Nigeria. A cursory check would have confirmed that. If the design is to get the Commission to compromise its mandate to investigate and prosecute all cases of economic and financial crimes, then the purveyors of the tendentious story have failed. Woefully. No matter what, the Commission will be guided only by that mandate and its very clear Standard Operating Procedure and WILL NOT be blackmailed or act in any way predetermined or teleguided by private interests. The EFCC WILL ONLY pursue the public interest as defined by the law establishing the Commission.

Oyedepo, who is the founder of Living Faith Church, disclosed that he became a billionaire by obeying God’s word. He disclosed this while addressing his members at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State. Oyedepo said no one would ever have made it happen without lining up with God’s word. He urged members to be committed Kingdom promoters from wherever they may be. According to Oyedepo: “God is not a taskmaster. Sir, from N1 position, you are taking a strong position in obeying God. The tithe of 10 Naira is 1 Naira. What is your problem? “He won’t give you N10 and ask you to bring a tithe of N2. No! When I say such, I say it as God leads me. My friend, instead of dropping N10 in a service and you are going to be in two services, divide it into two: put N5 in the first service, put N5 in the second service. God knows your level, don’t pose. But to now look it is not fair on yourself. It is not on anybody else, it is on yourself. "Do you know my tithes were part of what we counted in Kaduna when our income was N18,000? But He never failed once. He never failed once! I was giving testimony of N1000 a week. How many years ago? But when you just sit down and watch, God will open the windows of heaven.” 0813-538-4574
