Which election? There might be no election self. We are just seeing the beginning of the unrest, noone knows the extent it will go. This one may be worse than endsarss self. And If there is an election self there will be mass protest votes against APC.

If truly some people have warehoused the old naira notes for vote buying, why not deploy adequate intelligence to burst them like recover the warehoused money?

Why not adequately equip the security agencies to track, arrest and prosecuted vote buyers? We have laws to deal with such crime and criminals.

There's absolutely no sense in plunging the entire country into crisis with this Nzogbu Nzogbu policy implementation that has been chaotic at best.

Buhari should be wary of those urging him on because the perceive their political opponents may be affected. The truth is that they'll be the first set of people to turn around and castigate him if the crisis deepens.

Buhari hurriedly approved the proposal without due consultation with the economic team, Minister of Finance etc. Why was naira notes not redesigned when Buhari was going for his second term. Is it now that they suddenly realized that politician do engage in vote buying ? Obviously, he knows he has nothing to lose because this is his last tenure. How can you adopt anti people policy during an election season. You are indirectly plotting your party's failure at the poll. Buhari is definably up to something. We are watching.

That's the fact. Most of the banks in Nigeria today don't have the adequate network infrastructure to handle this traffic. The idea of cashlessness is good but the implementation by CBN is horrible. Las las it is the masses that will still suffer

As good as it sounds, unfortunately Nigeria is not ripe for this laudable goal. Just see our Telecom and network infrastructure and you will appreciate that we still have a long way to go. Have you tried to do online transfer via ussd code or mobile app or airtime topup recently. You will understand what am talking about.

Very poor implementation indeed. The CBN governor is a typical example of a failed Project Manager. Good intention from Buhari but poor implementation by CBN is an absolute failure and may not achieve the intended purpose eventually.

No politician is a saint. All of them do vote buying. It's just a matter of who is smarter. The governorship election in Osun state is a typical example. No politician is to be trusted, everyone of them is fighting for thier personal interest.

Intelligent move by the CBN, however, Most rural farmers and traders can't even make transfer with USSD, they deal with Cash, especially the livestock market in core north of Nigeria. Most banks have network issues especially weekends. How does the government intend to manage such? Our technology is not vast like that of India. It's really going to be challenging.

It's going to lead to serious chaos. The quality of service from Telcoms in Nigeria will make the whole idea very frustrating. It's a good idea by CBN but we don't have the right IT infrastructure yet to support it considering Nigeria population of over 120million people

This life is full of uncertainties. Many factors could be responsible for poverty at old age. The only way for them is to upgrade to business account then they will have access to 500k across the counter weekly.
This policy will even help them to gain more because there will be an increase in their withdrawal charges.

Even if they upgrade to business account they can only access up to a max of 100k in a day. They can only attend to 10 customers in a day(Assuming each customer is making a withdrawal of 10k each or just 5 customers with 20k withdrawal requests.). The reasonable thing the CBN can do is to review and increase the withdrawal limit. It may likely be reviewed after the election.
