Politics › Re: Obasanjo Is Nigeria’s Father Of Corruption, Sits On Stolen Wealth - Fayose by Goke7: 8:13am On Mar 17, 2017
I agree with what Fayose has said about obj but the truth is obj has left power since 2007 almost ten years ago, what has the younger fayoses of this world done for their own generation to make us forget about the bad deeds of obj?

The same obj was able to hold pdp all the while he was a member, but after leaving pdp, the fayoses of this world have not been able to hold the same pdp together to prove that they are indeed better than obj.

Sometimes talk is cheap and is quite easy to condemn others because they are wrong and did not get it right but its better for those who condemn to also prove to the world that they are indeed better especially when they are in a position of influence to do better than those they condemn. This is where Fayose is lacking and he needs to match his words of admonition with good examples of himself.

Nigerians are very funny, they wanted magu out and he is out now a replacement is being sought and still its a problem to Nigerians.

What are we actually hiding from? I think most Nigerians don't want an agency like EFCC anymore cos of the way we romance and smooch corruption.

No EFCC chairman can be less aggressive than magu under a PMB's regime.

The matter will surely die off but let's hope his ministry won't, that is the koko, anyone who thinks miracles can make a ministry survive should go back into history and see countless miracle workers who don't work miracles anymore

Since all this nonsense dis is d only sensible write up I 've seen thus far.....again I know what investigation entails especially if Govt is actually or have hand in it u can be frame up ask those in govt and security agencies and that is why I call on the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) to first and foremost ask apostle Suleiman question privately if he maintains his innocence they (CAN) Show throw their full weight behind him nd fight those involved with CAN in d investigation I believe the govt if actually involve in dis will have little maniputions to do because CAN have their members in eventually every sector. But if CAN will not be involved in dis and d govt as claimed by the apostle have hand in dis forget proper investigation. Phone call record is not enough footage view may vindicate...bank transfer is not also enuf ask bankers in d house. So I call on CAN to be involve in dis is not a one man show but the problem of the body of Christ on this nation Nigeria
abeg leave CAN alone, they are not a law enforcement organisation. Even CAN needs to be investigated to know if some of our National yams are still in their secretariat.

I said it before and I will say it again

Apostle Suleman owes no human any explanation only God.

Anybody that gives offering in the name of the pastor receive the pastor's reward

I give my offering nd my tithe to God whatever my Bishop choose to do with the money is left for him and God.

If Apostle Suleman is guilty let God punish him in his own way.

After all we are all sinners. We live only by His Mercy.
You lie, the Bible says 'confess your faults to one another that ye may be healed' [James 5:16] and the same bible also says that 'he that covereth his sins shall not prosper but he that confessed and forsake them shall obtain mercy' [Proverbs 28:13]

Are you really worshiping God or man?
Christianity Etc › Re: Apostle Suleman's Sex Scandal: Why The Truth Matters by Goke7: 10:56am On Mar 16, 2017
In Western countries, pastors like Bishop Eddie Long, Ted Haggard, and Jim Bakker have all had cases of sexual indiscretions. When they were exposed, they apologised and recused themselves from the altar while they dealt with their sins.

That is how men of God in those countries behave, when they fall, they confessed to their wives and congregation who in turn show them love and life continues, but in Nigeria the men of God will claim that their enemies are after them. I don't know whether its an African thing but Christian leaders in this part of the world will always play the victim. me sef don tire, I feel so ashamed as a Christian. Even Pastor Chris with his oyinbo face and mentality started threatening his members and people during his divorce saga.

God bless you. I remember going for ZOE revivals in Surulere as a kid back in the day. The man was hot. And then he just disappeared. I wonder where he is now and what he is doing.
That is how most of these deliverance pastors are jare, they just come and disappear, only men of God who teach and build members of their congregation with the integrity of God's word seems to last all the way.

To all Christians reading this thread.

I don't condone any form of evil but it's high time we stopped condemning our fellow Christians and making caricature of them no matter what. It gives the Muslim brothers room to insult us.

Do you think if any Muslim cleric is caught red handed with a girl/woman in a hotel that the news will see the light of the day?

Do you think the Muslim Nairalanders are foo.lish when they put a creed on any Muslim thread which they refused to put on Christian thread? It is because they do not want non-Muslims to insult their faith but find joy in insulting other people's faith (some of them shaa).

Someone once said here on Nairaland that since we Christians joke with everything about us, they have no option than to join us in joking with it too, but since they don't joke with theirs, we should also not joke with theirs.

Let him that have ear hear the word.

Edited: For those quoting me... I am not saying we should cover up the sins of our pastors, but non-Christians shouldn't help to make jest of it. I lived a better part of me in the Northern part of Nigeria. I know how sinful some of these Muslims are, both their men and women, but you won't hear them broadcast it everywhere. You guys should remove the log in your eyes before removing the spec in another's eye.
Excuse me, it is the Apostle's arrogance and he threatening even his members and others with marine spirit that is making this whole issue a mockery. The Apostle and his members are not helping matters too as they keep talking in he media and attacking the so called enemies of their Apostle according to them. Let the apostle and his beloved members wise up and see if anybody will talk about the matter again

He did not say anything wrong op...Life is a game. You are either loyal, or break away and be your own boss.

You cant be in his church and suspect him. The appropriate thing is to leave the church if in doubt.

Mind you its still a media trial until proven guilty in a court of law.
He owes the church the truth about the story instead of threatening them. he is gradually killing his ministry, the miracles he is performing now will soon fade away if he doesn't come out clean. We have so many men of God who were bigger than him in the past but now where to be found today even though they are still alive. The man is going that route if he doesn't get humble and continue in his arrogance.

If folks start leaving his church if in doubt as you suggesting, how will his ministry survive?
Christianity Etc › Re: Apostle Suleman To Dismiss Members Who Don't Believe In Him, Calls Them Demons by Goke7: 10:14am On Mar 16, 2017
This Apostle is just too arrogant and may loose his ministry soon with the way he's going, am not deceived cos we had great men of God who did more miracles than this man but where are they today and their ministries despite the fact that they are still alive. e.g. Patrick anwuzia [Zoe Ministries worldwide who took Lagos by storm in the mid 90s

.... Honestly this country is something else in terms of governing and organisation.... I was discussing with my uncle lately as regards what a man who has travelled far and near said **some countries are already debating on how to start using electric cars to replace fuel and to stop depending on fuel but our useless senators and house will still sit down deliberating on some useless issues that need no debate .....i don't just know how to explain this.... We need revolution in this country .... Like I use to think ,though it may look stupid but honestly maybe whites should come and colonise us again and help us build the country ....cos all these black leaders are just dindinrin...
Trump was right, we need to be re-colonised again cos we no sabi, na party and chop chop naim we know.

ordinary electricity which many african countries no longer battle with, we can't fix

Our bishops should stay clear of political matters o!. I keep saying this cos the day Fulani herdsmen or boko haram criminals will be detained and some groups start calling for their release, I hope they can stomach that one too.

Sometimes its safer to stay clear of what is not directly linked to you! that's wisdom

Foreign missions ? That's one other aspect of backwardness .... You are not competent enough to carryout a simple screening unless you involve foreigners?? Am just speechless self.... Nigeria wake up now.... If you ask them the amount to get the foreigners now you hear millions upon millions ....oga o
if the senate has comported themselves properly no foreign missions will be involved. They threw out magu's name initially without hearing from him so what were they trying to hide?

We can't simply govern ourselves as Nigerians with all our noise so don't be surprised if foreigners will always come around to teach us how to behave.
