Politics › Re: Enough Is Enough Nigeria Should Break Up - Fani Kayode by Goke7: 11:27am On Apr 19, 2017
The way folks talk about Nigeria breaking up is so funny, how many people are ready to apply for visa to cross the river Niger or process work permits to work in places and cities they once called home.
Politics › Re: 2019 Rivers State Governorship: The Rivers Ijaw Position by Goke7: 11:19am On Apr 19, 2017
TonyeBarcanista:
Not really but one has to align with the aspiration of his people you know. If Ijaws say they want power to return to their land after 20 years of it in the hands of the upland, then I have no choice but to align. This I believe is even in the interest of Justice.

Is it not funny that both Governor and the Minister representing Rivers state are all Ikwerres?
oga, it was bound to be so due to the outcome of the 2015 elections, but I think this should be no problem as there are senators and house of rep members equally representing the interests of the ijaws from rivers state.

I wish you guys well in your quest but pls enough of the wars and destruction in rivers state. It's time for my ss brothers to be more politically aware and know the consequences of political choices at any given time. You can't be joined together to fight for a particular candidate against another and then in few years time starts fighting against that candidate you almost gave your life for previously. We don't want to hear wike saying that amaechi is planning with the ijaws to unseat him. You guys need to get your politics right for the sake of peace. One love sir.

The enlightenment must go on. I pray the Ijaws present a strong candidate in 2019 because it is funny that we keep playing second fiddle in spite of our majority status
oga, wike don offend you?

Nigeria de play with world cup qualification, no wonder rohr said he will take a walk should Nigeria fail to qualify. That rohr's statement was pregnant with lots of issues.

something is missing here, I thought there is a cash limit for withdrawal according to anti-money laundering laws.

Can any Nigerian just withdraw 100,000 dollars raw cash from any bank? Someone pls explain o!

Politics › Re: Sanusi: Zamfara Started Sharia In Nigeria, Today It Has The Highest Poverty Rate by Goke7: 9:39am On Apr 11, 2017
don't know why folks are surprised with sanusi's comments, sanusi had a prolonged banking career which ended up as CBN boss. He had seen the projections in years to come and know that the north is just living in self denial. With the agitations in the east and silent agitations in the west, the future of the north is so shaky and sanusi himself is becoming agitated hence the regular outbursts from him.

The day power will shift back to the south again, the north may be in serious trouble as the fulani herdsmen issue has placed the north in a bad light which will continue to affect their economic fortune. The only thing the north has right now is political power and in this century if you can't convert political power to economic advantage then you are at a disadvantage. This is what sanusi is crying about. The north keeps living in denial.

This is very disheartening, Kingdom Africa is one of the reason Gospel music artistes have been making bigger waves in the last few years, I heard Nathaniel Bassey first on Kingdom Africa.

Those that do not know from where rain started to fall on them do not know where it stopped. you seem not to know, but Wike and Fayose are destroying PDP simply because they don't like its chairman- Amodu Sheriff.
Goodluck doesn't seem ready to make peace as you don't make peace by taking side with a faction rather than recognizing the legitimate chairman and request that makes peace with his estranged members. That is inversion of standard- QED.
That is why he is Mr clueless nah

Politics › Re: Jonathan’s PDP Peace Meeting Ends In Disarray by Goke7:
wike, fayose and others who don't like sheriff should please leave pdp for sheriff and go and form another party. is it a must for them to remain in pdp? I dare the likes of fayose and wike to go form their party and let's see how mighty and strong they claim to be.

My conclusion is that all the folks in pdp are all paper weight including the so called hero GEJ. They were all hiding under the shadow of obj. Even a whole david mark looks lost in the whole scenario. haba!

Mr, you too would have done the same, stop being hypocritical, politics is all about interest, and you have your own interest.

Focus on mobilizing folks and convince them about your party [if its still exists] and leave others to do their job, ok?
Politics › Re: Abandoned Flyover Projects In Ogun State - YMonitor by Goke7: 11:38am On Apr 04, 2017

factsandfigures:
So the question is why is PMB still keeping the Head of DSS...Do we need another definition of not being in charge?
The DSS head is PMB's cousin or uncle sef, He is actually the biggest influence on PMB. It will be impossible for PMB to sack him. The DSS guy is actually unofficially the man in charge of the nation. Remember Aisha Buhari crying out the other time? This is it
Christianity Etc › Re: Assemblies Of God: Police Chase Pastor Out Of Church Secretariat In Enugu (Pics) by Goke7: 12:32pm On Mar 31, 2017
Its a pity what the once highly regarded assemblies of God has turned into. So very sad as the bottom line of this crisis is about money, position and nothing more.
Politics › Re: Senate Gives 5 Conditions For Peace With Buhari by Goke7: 1:43pm On Mar 30, 2017
kolmart:
PMB camp is stronger than himself, PMB camp cant witness any peace with senators without removing people like Aba Kwayari and Daura those are the people selling out PMB. Those 2 people are the dead wood destroying PMB camp and needed to be removed but PMB himself didnt see anything bad on them but i bet you without their sack PMB can never make any headway in his administration.
the administration is already deadlocked with those two niggas, they were the reason aisha came out to shout the other day. PMB really messed up appointing folks who were never part of his political campaign or even have voters' card. Damn!
Politics › Re: Senate Gives 5 Conditions For Peace With Buhari by Goke7: 1:40pm On Mar 30, 2017
Eruditor:
The NASS are not enforcers of laws. They merely legislate which essentially means they make laws. There is an executive to execute and the judiciary to interpret. They are overstepping their bounds but I blame PMB more because he is the one over-indulging in separation of powers thereby giving these illiterates the wrong conception of their primary function.

They don't tell the president what to do, neither is he bound by law to accept their resolution. They only recommend to him and it is at his discretion to accept it or not.

God I weep for Nigeria!

Don't worry. We are waiting for you people in 2019. Eediots.
Honestly most Nigerians don't know this, they feel the legislators' duty is to be inviting people and their wives 'upadan' grin awon oniranu

That #1 condition killed my urge to read the epistle any further.

That is technically admitting that Saraki is guilty.

Is the court not where cases are supposed to be judged guilty or otherwise?
lol before nko, the senators themselves know saraki is guilty of course!
Politics › Re: Nigerian Lawmakers Could Override Buhari If He Vetoes Peace Corps Bill – Dogara by Goke7: 12:33pm On Mar 30, 2017
seunmsg:
Buhari should blame himself for the rubbish the national assembly is forcing down his throat. He had the opportunity of ensuring that reasonable people who will support his vision emerge as leaders of the national assembly but he messed things up because some people thought they need to cut Tinubu's influence. I just hope it is not too late for him to retrace his step and take control of the situation.
oga it's too late, the senate has taken over governance from the Executive, only a stiff opposition from the Nigerian masses can stop them now but surprisingly they have lots of support from many Nigerians especially those that are PMB haters. Even the APC as a party has lost control over their members in the senate. Saraki is now President with Dino as VP grin
