when will this church keep quiet over this matter?

The immediate past leader of CAN was the one who politicized that body, he was also a past leader of PFN, before he came on board both CAN and PFN were very apolitcal. It was the way GEJ deceived CAN ad PFN that he was a christian that brought all this mess.

In the past CAN and PFN used to even caution pastors who make careless public statements, e.g. pastor bakare was cautioned by PFN when Bshop okonkwo was PFN president on bakare prophecies on obj then. That was how solid PFN was in those days. Even the likes of oyedepo have been admonished in the past by senior pastors and ministers on the way he was running his ministry back in the 90s. But Oritsejefor's leaership of both PFN and CAN had made those christian bodies a shadow of themselves all in the name of getting favours from the govt. of the day. Oritsejafor was one of my favourite pastors in the 80s and 90s but the man fall my hand as PFN and CAN President.

The present leadership of CAN was handpicked by Oritsejafor so expect no robust leadership from them now, even the present PFN president is a long time friend of oritsejafor [I personally know this very well] may be after some years down the line, CAN and PFN may get themselves back but for now forget it.

why can't apostle suleiman and his church just keep quiet, I thought he said no one including his church members should speak again on the matter. Even el rufai they have been accusing up and down has not said one word or given them any answer.

Why is the church disgracing themselves in the media, are they the only church in Nigeria?

church going down or up is dependent on God who is the founder of the Church, 'Paul plant, Apollos water but God gives the increase' so says the scriptures, no mere mortal can grow any church. Apostle whatever, he is a mere mortal and not a super human who grows churches.

the COZA guy only made one and I mean only one press statement [it was even on his church altar sef] on the saga and that was it, he never said anything again till today. He was so smart to divert people's attention away from the matter until all the noise died off but your apostle has made so many press statements, I can't even count again sef, even his wife did a youtube video, even last sunday, he was still speaking about the saga as he was ministering. The guy can't just keep his mouth shut and he is so full of arrogance even describing how ugly the girl is, haba a whole apostle. The man is the one making all the noise with all his members, he is the one getting tired as he is now telling all his members to keep quiet in the social media, something he should have done since.

When he's done talking, no one will talk again and I don't know how he will stop the noise as the likes of Fayose media aide, reno and ffk don put their mouth join. God help your apostle o!

I had always thought I was the only one who noticed it and this has always been my view, Pastors in Nigeria only speak out when there is a threat against their church or person. They do not speak for the church or Christians in Nigeria.

Pastor Adeboye only spoke out against a particular law and the state's interference in church affairs just because it affected his position as RCCG overseer, the southern kaduna crisis happened around this time and he never said a word about this. Even Bishop Oyedepo only spoke out when there was threat to attack his church in the north.

Anyway I feel its the duty of CAN or PFN to always speak for the body of Christ or the church in Nigeria as this will bring some decency and sanity into our polity. Let our pastors stay clear of politics in Nigeria for their own good and for our good too.

most of these unis are used to settle folks politically across the state especially since they want to make it a multi campus thing, meaning the uni will be sited in different towns across the state or in all the senatorial district like the case of uniosun.

Do you remember the days of Bendel Line that later split into Edo Line and Delta Line? I think Edo Line became more fun to travel with than Delta Line. They had a larger fleet of cars with more interesting drivers who would criss-cross from Lagos to Port Harcourt with admirable driving skills. The way those guys used to dodge potholes at Ore and Patani express, no be for here. Even their downshifts will make you feel like you are in a rally race. Every road trip was more like a competition.

o boy you took me way back memory lane, chai, the days where Lagos-Benin by Bendel line was N20 then for a pleasurable ride. yea those bendel or edo line drivers were really experts not the touts we have as drivers these days. mhen I truly fancy those days as I grew up in benin so I can relate to this very well.

does CAN need to be coming out to respond to even beer parlor gossip all the time. This present CAN leadership need to grow up. The SGF is even a pastor. If they've got issues with him, why not pay him courtesy call!

CAN needs a special adviser on Political and Public affairs, you don't come out and slam pubic officials as an organisation that is supposed to very accommodating of both Christians and non-Christians or what is the essence of the gospel we are preaching. The other time CAN came out to slam the minister of information and now the SGF, is CAN now an opposition party? Please CAN needs help fast.
