Judas betrayed Jesus to fulfill the scripture, me question is what happens to him?
They will go to wherever the scripture they fulfilled say they will go, that is, the consequence of their act as written in the scriptures.
Christianity Etc › Re: As Many As Are Led By Fear! By Gbile Akanni by golddare(op): 10:19am On May 31, 2020
That is why the most frequent single instruction in the Bible that God gives His servants is "Fear not". And God struggles to remove fear from the man He plans to use. Dealing with the fear of death is another principal reason that Jesus went to the Cross. (Heb. 2: 14-15).

I am not ready for any arguments this morning, the statement is correct, stop twisting it. "fear not"occurred 365 times infact fear was mentioned 500 times while obey occurred 113 times.

Finally I stand with my statement that fear of situations etc has made many to disobeyed God .

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind .

I obey God because I love Him, it's easier for me to serve God out of love and reverence or honour than fear.

Even God did not say fear me when He gave the commandments and Jesus arrested to that..

He said, “Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?” Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and most important command.
Matthew 22:36‭-‬38.

It's a personal race, you are free to run it as it pleases you but it's good to comments on issues like this with facts so as not to mislead people. Fear not is the most singular instructions in the bible.

Nah! The most frequent instruction in the Bible that God gives His servants is "Obey me". grin
Can you obey if you are afraid? If Abraham was afraid of leaving to an unknown place he will not obey.
Fear of tomorrow, situations etc has made many to fall. Remember Joshua, God reechoed it severally to him, "fear not". Remember Saul too. The truth is fear has been the bane of many of us to the total obedience to God.
God bless you.

As Many As Are Led By Fear! (by Gbile Akanni)

From time to time, you get one of those mails warning you not to stop on the road to help people who seem to be in need because it can be a trap set by hoodlums and robbers. There are stories of women who stopped to pick up a baby car seat covered with a blanket on the roadside in what appears to be an "abandoned baby" situation, only to be molested, raped, beaten and left for dead. Someone else stopped to help what appears to be a victim of a hit-and-run driver only to become the victim himself.

I admit that these mails often also contain helpful information on how to recognize such traps, yet, I usually have real conflict in forwarding them around . . . . even though I sometimes eventually do.

For one, I am never interested in spreading anything that will spread FEAR!
Fear is the age-old principal equipment of enslaving people . . . . and God is demobilized in any man's life once he gives in to fear. No matter how much God planned to achieve through any man or for any man, He cannot, once that man gives in to fear. Fear robs us of courage and renders us impotent in the things of God. That is why the most frequent single instruction in the Bible that God gives His servants is "Fear not". And God struggles to remove fear from the man He plans to use. Dealing with the fear of death is another principal reason that Jesus went to the Cross. (Heb. 2: 14-15).

This kind of fear-instilled carefulness is probably what prevented the Priest and the Levite from helping the man that fell among thieves on the way down to Jericho (in the story of the "Good Samaritan" which we have learn from Sunday school). It will keep us today from reaching out to those genuinely in need.

However and truly, these are difficult times . . . . Perilous times and many children of disobedience will stop at nothing to fulfill the will of their master. The checkmate, however, is never still to be moved, motivated or ruled by fear but to be led, motivated, moved and ruled by the Spirit. As many as are led by the Spirit, not by stories they have heard . . . are the sons of God.

True disciples are never afraid of death or bodily harm. They are more interested in doing the will of their Master than saving themselves from harm. They are also well assured and rested about their own personal safety . . . leaving it all in the capable hands of the Lord! They know that HE that keepeth Israel neither slumbers or sleep.

Even if they make a mistake in their discernment of the leading of the Spirit, their Lord never leaves them into the hands of evil . . . . UNLESS THERE IS A LESSON OR DISCIPLINE EXPERIENCE TO GAIN THEREBY. Even then, the LORD never fails to give boundaries to the devil when He allows him to afflict HIS children (as in the case of Job) . . . . because God is ever, ultimately planning Good and not Evil!
A brother was driving a lonely bush path that leads to a relative's house to visit when he saw a lady tied to a tree beaten and half naked. He hesitated, stopping because of the many stories he had heard, but the Spirit kept nudging and impressing that she was a victim, so he stopped. He ended up rescuing a fellow sister who was about to be raped by a false brother who she carelessly followed after breaking an engagement with him. It was the approaching car that made him temporarily go into hiding.

So, next time you see a scenario that looks like someone needs your help, check with the Holy Spirit and do as He instructs . . . lest we become guilty of seeing the Lord in need and turning a blind eye.

Mat 25:44 - 46 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Yes, I do recommend that we apply all necessary checks to see that this is truly "an hungered" and this is truly "in need" but if we do not receive a check from the Lord, by all means do help.

Please pray deeply about this and may the Lord reveal His will to you.

I also disagree with where keneth Okonkwo mentioned the name of Jesus and Ramsy Noah was not affected until he mentioned the blood of Jesus. I am not saying the blood doesn't work but lifting the blood above the name is not scriptural.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name Phil 2:9

While Jesus was even alive His name works

Luke 9:49
John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.”

Black people and their mind, no wonder Dino Melaye said few are stealing and many are waiting in line to steal. I dont think we can progress without a fool proof system. The black man mind has been twisted with trends of events of massive looting and inhumane acts of those with opportunities.
Covid-19 has become the mining treasure of the black man, what an irony.

1. If you are born again then you have nothing to worry about.

2. You will continue to see her in your dreams probably for the rest of your life.

3. Ben Carson once said the brain is a miracle, its th most intricate computer in the world, the stored data in our memory are replayed in different forms while asleep.

4. As a child of God you have the power to claim and cancels any dreams that bothers you. You can call her name and command her not to appear in your dream again.

5. If you stretch this matter too long you may be setting yourself up with fake "Pastors".

6. Forgive your uncle and everyone, be grateful for the little they did for you, they even tried pass some uncles and after all no be him be your papa.

7. Hold God tight. God bless you.

Cynthia Morgan may not have been truthful when she said she can no longer use the name 'Cynthia Morgan' because it was contained in her record label that the label owns the name and that she is prohibited from using it.

The only time it is mentionedt that her name and images would be used is when the label wants to promote her materials, such as her singles, albums, EPs, and possibly videos.

She had the exclusive rights to use her name all along, contrary to what she said in the Instagram Interview she had with Sandra.
I hope upcoming artiste have seen how contracts looks like, so get down to business.

Romance › Re: 3 Weeks To Wedding & I'm Confused! Please Advise Me by golddare: 2:31pm On May 26, 2020
Donbabaj:
I could be happy now but the next minute, she changes mood all of a sudden. We dated for over year after someone match make us but this mood swing things continued overtime so sometimes I get confused even as i really tried managing the pressure. She's a nice girl, takes good care of me, buys clothes, cooks, always wants me to look good but the problem is the rate which she switches mood easily.

Financially, we are both average earner but I think she earns better pay than me.

For instance, recently we got a new apartment - 2bedroom flat but whenever I say something she doesn't like or she doesn't want to hear, she just reacts like why would I say such a thing. All the while we were dating, we never stayed with each other as we stayed in our parents house. Fast forward* most times, as the man, after switching mood, I try to pacify her by petting and apologising but she doesn't just want to listen.

Just today, we were playing with each other on the bed, touching each other (not sensitive part) and she wanted me to kiss her. So I told her jokingly that "but you know this is not biblical" as an advocate of no sex until after marriage. I have never had sex with her either. The next thing she said, "why are you talking like this" she stood up, went straight to the sitting room and slept there. I went to meet her there to pacify her again but she wouldn't listen.

Please note that I have not and can never beat or abuse her cos I'm a Christian.

I'm just tired. She's really getting on my nerves. Our wedding is 3 weeks time but I dont just know what to do. People, friends and family are already aware of the impending marriage but I'm afraid that if a lady can switch mood like this, who knows what will happen tommorrow. I cant sleep in peace...

Please advice. This is happening right now.
Go ahead and do your wedding naso women dey do when they love you, mood swing is part of the package for marriage so be ready for it. To have peace of mind in a marriage please dont put everything a woman say or do for head like Galla unless infidelity or stealing.

Niebuhr's prayer
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.

You are worrying about things you cannot change, dont forget family differs, many are even hiding there heads.

More so, the world has moved from that old communal lifestyles to individuality, thanks to dispersion through occupation, marriages etc.

However, technology has solved this problems, with an app like WhatsApp you can create a family group, celebrate birthdays of one another etc, you can even make life meeting conference with apps like zoom, Google.

Finally, do not forget to recognize and respect privacy.

Life is like a moving train, if you missed yours, wait for the next one. It's not easy to keep up with those behind, when you even tried some of them will slow you down.
Sometimes your journey can even be truncated. When your friends leave you behind try not to hold it against them rather plan how to meet up or pass them, overtaking is allowed. Dont forget that you have left some persons behind too without looking out for them.
