WinsomeX: Hello ma,https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/spirit.gif I understand you do not have ready access to the site everyday so the interview can proceed for as long as it will take. Let him ask his question and you answer it when the time permits.about time! Now Gombs, if the good Kenyan lady accepts this proposal, know that myself andhttps://www.reactiongifs.com/r/wyfail.gif It will be like a court case where the defendant's lawyer is quick to object the prosecutor's questions at any slight indication that you may want to ask her leading questions or otherwise.so, now i can't ask her leading questions? why? are you (all) scared of something? let me borrow sir John's word.. I smell a rat, a big rotten rat. ![]() She also has the right to not answer your questionsviewers are having the impression she has something to hide, good job counselor! or to quit the interview whenever she wishes.it's anticipated bro, it sure is. We have offered you our head and all now, we only request your understanding.https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/gj1.gif i see i am dealing with a rag tag team of 'lawyers', and you all are on! One shall chase a thousand... in this thread, I'm ready as a stallion bro! Kenyan i await your acceptance. |
Candour: You are only an echo machine my young man with no ideas of your own. You have nothing to discuss. I'll advice you wait for your mentors to speak then you can carry on your job of echoing, laughing and posting pictures to amplify whatever they say as you always do.Someone is actually and obviously pained... ![]() If anybody is pained, its those who say these discussions mean nothing yet refuse to ignore the thread. ![]() Seun implemented the mention feature, if not...I'd not have been here too! ![]() |
My dear, that your thread you cited was bad businessAnd this one is good business? ![]() for whatever your intentions of opening it was.For folks to hear from the horse's mouth...simple (oya call Pastor Chris a horse) ![]() You only helped to spread very unsavoury news about one man's problem with his wife. I congratulate you on that.Your opinion buddy, you are entitled to one. ![]() Also what has mini skirts got to do with your defence?Ever heard of the noun 'idiom', quit sounding like a pervert. My friend, go and marry and stop wondering whenever you see a mini skirt. ![]() You're actually a pervert. Finally, if nothing you discuss here changes anything, why are you worked up?Am not, if I were, I would not be acting as you are. I asked for an interview, guess which folks had a migraine because of it? Why do you feel a compulsion to engage those with contrary opinions?Evil prevails if good men keep silent. ![]() Could it be that you don't even believe what you wrote about discussions here not changing anything? If I were you, I wouldn't waste time my time like that.Has tithing debates for example stopped folks from tithing? If you think your campaign here has any reasonable impact, then you are of all men the most miserable. |
LambanoPeace: You sound pained, that was a classic saying by Gombs , it should be archived. Ever hear of the word idiom? ![]() No mind them, haters gon hate ![]() |
WinsomeX: That's the way a Christ Embassy mind works.Ah, the bitter one is here! Welcome! ![]() |
Candour: Hmmm....since this is the era of receiving mails, I dare say I too have received 'countless' mails...............from those who swear you didn't receive any mailBuddy, remember of these 135,000 views, 42-54% were made by the main discussants, that is, 56,700 views were made by a collective handful of us, the remaining 78,300 were however a good view, made in a space of 6years! now, https://www.nairaland.com/1892171/pastor-chris-oyakhilome-addresses-whole generated 58,269 views in 8days,and less than half this thread pages, with just 25 pages! the moral of the story is that most statistics are like mini skirts, they give you things to think about, but don't show you the real thing. ![]() when folks insult and hate GeJ on NL and think it's so in the real world, i laugh. Don't be fooled by the views, and pages, in reality, most folks out there did not see this thread, those who did said nothing, either for faith reasons or such, and in fact 135,000 in 80million Christians in Nigeria, is a far cry, even in CEC membership of over 10million world wide. you see my point? Nothing we discuss here really changes anything, but then, posterity will judge us. |
nora544: What they write is very good but I know you didnot like to hear and to read it because it tell the truth about the heresy of the prosperity gospel and the God of man.https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/lkrwtf.gif not surprised ma'am, anything that attacks churches and pastors are surely good to you. ![]() |
SirJohn: For me, I didn't care one bit how you did the interview. Someone tried it privately, just exactly how you want it and she put him in his placeonly if you know the mails i have received too... i think folks need to know the real truth, you might have convinced some... but not much ![]() i think folks who are forming her lawyers and opposing the way i want to do the interview are in a way helping them make the right decisions about the matter, if you know what i mean. |
trustman: What is the purpose of the interview - to get facts, find faults or prove a point?Sir, the interview has to be the way i want it, not how you all want it, if she is not comfortable with the arrangement fine! ![]() *Wondering why folks are all getting hysterical because of the way i want the interview to be... Kunle thought i wanted her to change stories by the type of interview, only guilty folks would however change their stories. and i'm not doingg this interview to 'conviict' her, but to put facts side by side for posterity. |
oya ladies...this would be very interesting... let me sit and watch ![]() https://i26.tinypic.com/rii715.gif |

Emmaomotob: Stop selectively quoting the Bible 1st Corinthians 14 vs 4 in trustworthy KJV says: He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. Why did you skip verse 2 of the reliable KJV? 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1. Define unknown tongue? 2. If you’re saying it's another language, For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. (V14), how come folks don't know what I'm speaking but they seem know it should the language's name? 3.how many languages then do you speak? 4.why do you want to make a simpleton of yourself? |
Kenyan28: My friend I have done interviews, many of them, so to speak. There are several types of interviews 1) Oral Interview, 2) Written Interview etc In your case here, the interview is WRITTEN but NOT ORAL . The last time I checked in a written interview, the list of ALL questions was put/compiled together in a sheet of paper or booklet. If you want "a step by step" thing as you say, make it Oral, you can PM for my number! Else, put your questions in one or two comments, I promise to answer ALL.Sorry dear, it won't work that way, you response to one question might be the trigger for another, this is to check for consistency with your previous replies. But putting them all at once would not only defeat the purpose of the interview, but also will make it clumsy. My 2 cents |
Emmaomotob: Read the link I gave you and stop asking silly questions. You want me too pull out links for you too? You seems to be new here, no wonder! A quick heads up, religion section is far far different from politics, family or any other section. Your putting up a link does not help your stand, open the word let us dissect it, i opened for you, your reaction gave me a cue of your general bibile knowledge.Thank me later Put this in perspective. If Paul spoke plenty different languages like you claim, explain this then! 1 Corinthians 14:2 BBE For he who makes use of tongues is not talking to men but to God; because no one has the sense of what he is saying; but in the Spirit he is talking of secret things To help your baby nature in Christ, they all heard in their language because the Holy Spirit was there to interprete individually. If you think other wise, how on earth was Peter able to address them all in their languages, remember, he had no microphone nor interpreter ![]() |
There’s A Reason For Your Being · Monday, September 29th Pastor Chris Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews…and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (Esther 4:13-14). Have you ever wondered why you were born in this generation and not in the 1800s, for example? You have to understand that God has something to do with your being alive at this time. He has a purpose for your being. The children of Israel were in a terrible predicament, in the days of king Ahasuerus. A certain man named Haman hated the Jews, and he happened to be a very influential figure, and wielded so much authority at the behest of king Ahasuerus. The king promoted and elevated him above all the princes in his kingdom and so all the servants in the king’s gate bowed and reverenced Haman whenever he walked by (Esther 3:1-2). Thus, Haman had the political might and influence to annihilate the Jews whom he hated, as Mordecai the Jew would not bow to him. However, Esther, who was also a Jew, and married to the king, was relishing the glory of the palace, completely oblivious of Haman’s hatred and quest to destroy the Jews. Mordecai, her uncle, sent a touching message to Esther which we read in our theme scripture. He told Esther, "Who knows, perhaps, you have come to royal position to prevent this from happening." Indeed, Esther’s timely intervention prevented Haman from actualizing his wicked plot against the Jews. Maybe you’re "the Esther" that God has placed in Government today, in that strategic position, where you can be of help to God’s people. Sometimes, it might even be for you to help an individual, or the work of the Kingdom in your locality, country or region to progress further. Perhaps God placed you there because He knew a time of need would come, and you’d rise to the occasion. Don’t fail Him. Don’t neglect any opportunity to help. Don’t think about yourself only; think about the Gospel, and its spread around the world through your personal contribution. Prayer... Dear Father, I’m grateful for the opportunities you’ve made available to me to be of help to others and be relevant in the spread of the Gospel around the world. I recognize and take advantage of your grace in me to win for others and fulfil my role in the ministry of reconciliation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Galatians 6:8; For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Esther 4:16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. 1 year Bible reading plan: Isaiah 27-28 Ephesians 5:3-21 2 year Bible reading plan: 2 Timothy 4:1-10 Jeremiah 47 |
dorox: Are you alright? Stop quoting scriptures out of context. If to live a quiet life means being silent, then what are you doing in nairaland?1 Thessalonians 4:11-12The Message (MSG) 11 Stay calm; mind your own business; do your own job. Emmaomotob: Stop perverting the gospel, it is 'I thank God, I speak WITH tongues more than ye all:' King James Version. Go and born that useless satanic book you call Bible. How many languages did you then think Paul spoke in? Who taught him them? If it was God, how many do you speak? |

dorox: When disasters happens, especially one that is close to home it is the usual practice for pastors to talk about it and ask members to pray for those who are directly affected by the disaster. But in the wake of the SCOAN building collapse it appears that most pastors are carrying on with their business like they did not just lose one of their own. So i would like to know if your pastor have asked for your prayers with regards to those who died and those who are receiving treatment as a result of that tragedy.l [NLT] 1 Thessalonians 4:11 Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. ![]() |

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16). As a child of God, you must be passionate about soul-winning; it must burn in your heart to take the Gospel to the lost. You’re the custodian of the Gospel. It’s therefore your divine responsibility to publish it around the world. When you understand that Jesus is the only way, you’ll stand up for the Gospel. The Apostle Paul, in Acts 13:38-39 said, "Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man (Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses." There’re no options to the Gospel. No wonder David said, "Send us around the world with the news of your saving power..." (Psalms 67:2 TLB). In David’s day, the Gospel hadn’t been fully made manifest, but he had insight into the revelation of Christ the Messiah. The time hadn’t come and the redemptive work of Christ hadn’t been consummated, but Christ now has come. He has died and has risen, and now lives in our hearts. Halleluiah! No Christian is left out of the instruction to preach the Gospel. It should be your passion! Fuel your passion for the Gospel. Keep preaching and talking to others about Jesus. Discuss the Gospel continually with those who are also fired up in their spirits for the Gospel and intercede in prayer for the lost who are yet to hear the Word of salvation. |

Use Your Talent For The Gospel · Saturday, September 27th So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God’s message, we should do it according to the faith that we have (Romans 12:6 GNB). As God’s children, there’s something unique about each one of us; we’re all so uniquely graced and gifted by God. The Bible says, "…But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that" (1Corinthians 7:7). Everything you are in Christ—all the gifts, talents, and abilities God has given you—are to be used for His glory. Whatever the Lord has taught you or is teaching you; whatever He has exposed you to and helped you to know, are all for the furtherance of the Gospel. Therefore, find the opportunity to use them to advance His righteous cause. Don’t hide what you know; don’t hide your abilities; don’t hide your talents. Prayerfully consider what more you can do for the ministry. How can you contribute? Your abilities and talents are required in the Kingdom. Become available; let others benefit from the Lord’s investment in you. You may not even know what you can do, but as you make yourself available, God’s Spirit will help you bring your gifts and talents to the fore. The Spirit of God is bringing you this message today because this is the time to take action: use your talents for the Gospel. The Lord is counting on you; He’s counted you faithful, putting you in the ministry: "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry" (1 Timothy 1:12). He believes in you. Look out for the need around you; find out what’s necessary to be done in the house of God and be inspired to action. There’re still many souls to be won. Put all you’ve got into the furtherance of the Gospel. Be willing to spend and be spent for the Gospel. The gifts and talents that you have are "…for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Ephesians 4:12). Prayer... Dear Lord, I thank you for the grace you’ve granted me to be effective in the furtherance of the Gospel. My passion for the Gospel is fuelled more than ever before, and I dedicate my all to ensuring that your righteousness covers the earth and is established in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further Study: Matthew 25:15; [KJV] And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
