Agbalowomeri:Hahahahahaha. Sounds like music to my ears. |
Mcy56: .... cheers! |
Mpeace:Hmmn... triple M's, a love triangle? hahahahahahhahaKidding! Howdy Mr Mpeace? ![]() |
Mcy56:Lol! Perfect! People will always talk, but at the end of the day, they don't matter in the grand scheme of things. So it's good you are not giving a damn. ![]() |
Mcy56:Ah! What a mature lady, I like you and Mendes, infact for this maturity we must ship una. ![]() |
Very healthy banter, I like what I am seeing. Do we have any NSEMPA couples here apart from the M one's we recently talked about? (The M one's know themselves). Hehehehehehehehehehe. So, how market guys? What are we looking at? Financial Markets Armageddon? |
moneywoman74:The major detail I heard was Diamond bank understated their Non performing loans. Also, Diamond dropped the bomb that they will be taking additional loan write-downs of btw 150-180b. |
Why is no one talking about the Conference call? Is the information I am getting correct? Is that why this place is silent? Chai, I warned people not to be emotional about this investment thing. If the info I am seeing is true... |
People getting all emotional again about people's opinion here? Hahahahahahahahahhaha. It's a good sign. ![]() |
Jonathan:Oh! My bad. Crude oil? Stocks? *cries*, all the same nowadays. Too much correlation... *cries again* |
mendes911:Nope. 08/09 was worse, because people bought at a higher high. The bull market that period is the highest ever on NSE till date, so when the bubble bursted, it bursted hard. We are talking of the All share index dropping from 68,000 to 20,000. It was devastating. It's why I laugh when I see some people's theory, lol! I know things can get worse. I might be wrong, but I have this feeling capitulation has not even started. There will be another support level, my advice is for you not to psychologically finish yourself by placing a limit for support, because when support level is broken, many people would capitulate and sell off. Most of the people shouting Bonanza might have been impatient and bought earlier than this period. Most will be too scared to buy, even the Bonanza gang. That is when you move in. |
Agbalowomeri:Lol. It would be a very merry Xmas. Hahahahahaha |
Yayira:Lol... shortage of... ?? Hahahahaha |
DeRuggedProf:Lol! You use United Capital too? Real recognize real. I use UCAP (invest now) and Merristem. I love the idea of monitoring via a mobile app. Flexible. |
Mcy56:Yeah, of course you can't see who ordered it. Privacy which to me is good. |
BullBearMkt:Yeah. Nigeria has only one exchange, that is the NSE. All brokers buy and sell through the NSE on your behalf. So all the broker houses are seeing the same data basically. |
Mcy56:Hahahaha. I saw it too, but there was no need to say anything, because at the end of the day arguing here doesn't make anyone money. Everyone will drop their opinion, what you decide to do with it is up to you. ![]() |
Godlylifeoneart:Not to burst your Bubble, but Warren Buffet also said it's better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price, than a fair company at a better price. Also the statement be fearful when others greedy and be greedy when others are fearful has nothing to do with a fundamentally poor company, by now you should know what they were talking about. |
arduino:Alright then. Sorry for my assumption, but at least people will understand what they should run away from. ![]() |
Infinitisi:Hahahahahahaha. |
DeRuggedProf:Lol. It's amateur hour bro. Hahahahahahaha. |
Mcy56:Lol. They will probably not listen. People have short term memory. |
DeRuggedProf:Hahahahahaha. This prof sha. Funny guy. |
arduino:Unity bank is one of the most leveraged banks/companies on NSE. Their total liabilities are greater than their assets! Lol! I don't even want to think of their Equity to asset ratio, but then again, I have always warned that people should be defensive when buying stocks. How can you buy a stock that when you subtract the liability apart from customer deposits from Total assets, what you have left is almost nothing, or nothing or even a negative. Meaning the shareholders have nothing, if a liquidation should happen you will get nothing! If another bank should take over you will still get nothing! Using Price to book value alone to evaluate a stock is very dangerous. Some of you have forgotten that it is bonds first and other debt obligations, then preferred shares before common shares. You should always consider this when buying a stock. Liquidation value is where it's at. Goodluck! |
DeRuggedProf:He is already insulting you? Hahahahahahaha People are too emotional. Lol! |
Mcy56:True. Very True. |
mendes911:Facts! Lol. |
Mcy56:Hahahahahahahahaha. People will sha talk. ![]() |
Mcy56:Access bank is leveraged themselves already. Anyone thinking they can't come crashing down doesn't know anything. They are not too big to fail. If it was Gt bank or stanbic or Zenith bank doing this, it would not still have been okay to me. But oh well! We shall see. |
Mcy56:Exactly, if you know something and you don't want to talk, then don't announce to people that you know something, but you don't want to talk about it. That's kind of sneaky to me. After all is said and done, what will be will be. It's the same argument I have had in the Treasury bills group regarding the strength of our naira. Time will tell who is right or not. Simple! |
BullBearMkt:Lol. People will always talk. ![]() |
GudluckIBB:What are you saying? So people shouldn't say anything again because of other people's investment? When did this forum determine which stock pumps or dumps? No one has said anything here that is not on the news everywhere, even normal people who don't invest are talking about this. I repeat if you base your investment, sell or buy decisions on what people say here you deserve whatever you get positive or negative. There is what they call free speech, let people talk! They are not breaking any rules. |
