solite3: Even in his divine nature he will and is always subject to his Father, creator, the one that exalted him and placed his enemies under his feet! So the Bible clearly shows one is superior and one is subject to the other. 1 Corinthians 15:27,28 shows God put everything under him which shows he has more authority. After everything God will be all in all, whether in heaven or on earth he has always been his father's subject! |
Religion / Re: Do You Believe In God? What Is The Name Of Your God? by goodnews201668: 5:21pm On May 01, 2016 |
solite3: The problem is with translation, God's personal name appeared several places in the Bible. But were obviously removed in line with the enemy's wish! The Devil doesn't want people to know and use God's personal name he wants people to remain in darkness. For instance in matthew chapter 4 'Jehovah' was supposed to be there because Jesus was quoting a popular verse already know by the Jews. Look at this translation: (Matthew 4:10 Aramaic Bible in Plain English) Then Yeshua said to him, “Depart Satan, for it is written: 'You shall worship THE LORD JEHOVAH your God and him alone shall you serve.' “ Jesus here was clearly referring to someone different from him and that's the father! Many translations have removed God's personal name here and replaced it with titles "lord and God"! Now this is from wikipedia: "Jehovah" was popularized in the English-speaking world by William Tyndale and other pioneer English Protestant translations such as the Geneva Bible and the King James Version.[2] It is still used in some translations, such as the New World Translation and Young's Literal Translation, but it is does not appear in most mainstream English translations, as the terms "Lord" or "LORD": used instead, generally indicating that the corresponding Hebrew is Yahweh or YHWH.[3][4]:5 So when Jesus said he has made God's name known he had his father's personal name in mind. |

eplanning: You are the confused person here, you agreed that Christ wasn't raised in flesh yet your other posts have shown you to be confused! Stop limping stand on what you believe. was Jesus resurrected as a spirit or not? that's the issue, stop running up and down saying he was resurrected with a glorified body and denying it again. So you are saying he was raised in a physical body but a glorified one? Let's know where you stand. |
Religion / Re: In Genesis 1: 26, God Was Talking To Someone, Do You Know The Person ? by goodnews201668: 10:07pm On Apr 30, 2016 |
eplanning: That means you don't even read other people's post, I answered your questions already. Those portions are not saying he was raised with his former body. He was resurrected before his body could rot away! |
Religion / Re: In Genesis 1: 26, God Was Talking To Someone, Do You Know The Person ? by goodnews201668: 3:11pm On Apr 30, 2016 |
eplanning: Which scripture told you Christ was resurrected in spirit and body? He was made alive in spirit and it's not necessary for him to take his former physical body after resurrection. He sacrificed it according to John 6:51King James Version (KJV) 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. So doesn't need his former corruptible body as you are trying to make us understand. it has been sacrificed taking it back means his death would worthless. |

analice107: So that's why you label everyone JW, once they don't share your beliefs they're jw. Which scripture is straight when it doesn't agree with other scriptures? The Bible is harmonious! You are not God yet you are always judge, well if you don't want to be mentioned leave this place. It's a public place, by the way you think know the truth and sure of salvation already. Beware! |

Religion / Re: In Genesis 1: 26, God Was Talking To Someone, Do You Know The Person ? by goodnews201668: 10:01am On Apr 30, 2016 |
eplanning: You claim to be a Bible student yet you say Jesus resurrected with his physical body and was not made alive in spirit as the Bible said, that's childish! Read 1Co 15:35-38. And see what that place talks about resurrection, our flesh is compared to seed which when sowed germinate or sprout! if sown in corruption it will resurrect or sprout as it were to incorruption! Again Colossians 1:8 called Jesus the firstborn from the dead! Does it mean Christ was the first to be resurrected? there has been accounts of resurrections in the Bible even before Jesus died and was resurrected. It means Jesus is the first to be resurrected by God himself and the first to be resurrected in the spirit! The Bible's view of resurrection is different from yours ooo. Now the Bible said he was not allowed to see corruption. Act 2:31 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. He was resurrected before his physical body or flesh rot away! John 6:51King James Version (KJV) 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (If he was resurrected in the flesh that means he took the sacrifice or flesh back, and his death would have been meaningless)! |

analice107: Sorry you can't say whatever you feel like against JWs, stop lying against them. Well that has always been your escape route labeling everybody that doesn't share your views as jw instead of defending it. JWs don't believe that angels are to be worshipped, sorry. |

eplanning: If he was resurrected in flesh will he still be a spirit? Take note of the fact that the Bible said he was put to death in the flesh and made alive in the spirit. Well it simply shows you doesn't believe portions of the Bible that said Jesus was resurrected as a spirit. When the Bible said God was manifest in the flesh, does it mean God has to personally walk the earth? No, Jesus said anybody that has seen him has also seen the father! He represented his father. |
Religion / Re: In Genesis 1: 26, God Was Talking To Someone, Do You Know The Person ? by goodnews201668: 7:07am On Apr 30, 2016 |
eplanning: For your mind anyone that have a contrary opinion or doesn't believe what u believe is a JW? You have not said anything to prove that who people saw was God himself, Jesus always address himself as the son of God! For your information Christ was resurrected as a spirit not just as a "glorified body" as u said. Read this portions: Acts 13:34 James Version (KJV) 34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. (The Bible said he will never return to corruption or flesh, 1 Corinthians 15:35-54 shows what corruption is our flesh!) 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. (he was made alive in spirit while dead in body). Now the portion you shows that he was "received to glory", who received him if he was the same God that sent him? Okay your difficulty is with the statement seen by Angels, the question is has Jesus been a flesh before? No, but the angels and humans including gentiles saw him as flesh. They were all eye witnesses so to say. So I repeat no man will see God and live! |

tunnypop: Okay, so what can you say about that phrase "was with God"? Can he be with God and still be the same person? The Bible said he was with God, can he be with God and be the same person? People saw Jesus as a man while he walked the earth, his disciples also had the privilege of seeing him after his resurrection as a spirit. Can anyone see God in any form and live? |

brocab: your statements again truly shows you have no case or that you're confused. JWs don't hide their beliefs, it has been shown to you many times, you simply didn't want to see it. now you are shifting to Bible again, typical of you when you can't defend whatever you believe you'll start looking for excuse. the Bible they quote here are not even new world but you guys always say all manner of lies against them yet you think it's not lie and that you are not of Satan? and Jehovah's witnesses believe the devil exist, okay. now the devil still dwell in the heavens even at the time of Job, read very well this time slowly. after that I'll tell you two or three reasons why the devil was cast out of heaven after that time not before that time as you understand. |

brocab: You are on every JW thread yet you don't know what they believe. Anyways go back to that post, that Isaiah 14:12 has been explained. Revelation chapter 12 is talking about the war in heaven. While Isaiah chapter 14 is talking about Satan's falling. But take not Satan was still in the heavens even after Adam and eve were created and sin against God. He has not been casted out of heaven even after deceiving Adam and eve! can I show you evidence? |

Religion / Re: Jehovah's Witnesses: 17 Facts People Should Know About Them by goodnews201668: 3:25pm On Apr 28, 2016 |
Molake94: Jesus is the son if God! was created by God himself that's why he's the firstborn of all creation. Through him other things were created. Colossians 1:15. He is a mighty God, according to John 1:18 he is the only begotten god! Isaiah 9:6 again shows he's a mighty God. But he is not equal with his father the Almighy God, he still subject himself to God! (John 20:17). Prophet?? First of all prophecy means: An inspired message, a revelation of the divine will and purpose. Prophecy may be a prediction of something to come or an expression of a divine command or judgement! So the question is did Jesus prophecy? He foretold about the events that'll take place during our days and did other prophetic works! He and his father are not equal, they one in the sense that they are united. He never claim equality with his father, so Trinity doctrine is from devil the lair! |

Blinders? If you mean watchtower, nobody has quoted watchtower for you here all the posts by JWs are from Bible! And from orher translations not even their Bible! If you think their belief on a particular subject is wrong, prove it! You are fond of defending yourself all the time by mentioning watchtower and even calling JWs names. We are here to discuss and reason it's not compulsory that you most change everybody's beliefs here, but when things don't go your way you always pick offence. Sometimes you even judge people and destroy them or label them atheist or demons because they don't share the same beliefs with you. analice107: |
