Men need to learn from ladies.

People in general need deodorant as they get older. But oyibo have some peculiar smell just as black people. It is obvious to black as whites come closer to them and the same is true when blacks get closer to whites.

Perfume and deodorant reduce or eliminate both smells.

The older people of black, white, brown and red have another called 2-nonenal. The best way to reduce it is heightened hygiene by regular daily bath, mouth brushing twice or three times a day after a meal, just before going to bed.

If younger people around still detect the smell, perfume and deodorant a must.

This is a very sensitive issue on the job and around friends. If I get my hands on an article that addresses it, I will post.

No matter how you cut it or slice it, this is a welcomed development. I hope this is implemented immediately.

It is not who has the idea, it is who bring it into practice. I hope this is not another blueprint promise.

I wish most of the universities can compete with one another in some mini projects on campus as an example of what is doable on a large scale.

Ibadan, Nsukka, Hamadu Bello, Lagos and I think Ife at one point furnished their top floors into four stars hotels taking care of any medical problems. If they lack the expertise, they were willing to fly any specialist into the country to take care of the problem.

Money bags and enough Nigerians refused to patronize them. I do not know if these are still in place.

Jakande built or started waste to power project, successive govt refused to follow up. He also started Subway contract and deposit made, Buhari came and killed it.

appreciate GEJ cos he is a great man. he set a standard that when followed will make 9ja a better place. have u ever heard dat a sitting president in africa lost and conceded defeat? the man u are blasting did that and even more.
Sir,

The potential this man had was enemous. We seems to forget very fast. Before him, only OBJ as a Southerner got elected. Even then, OBJ lost Southwest votes in his first term.

Compare that with overwhelming votes Uncle Joe got North, South and center. Not only that, for the first time in the history of Nigeria, we had a highly educated Head of State. It is what Nigeria had been praying for.

Remember, we were looking for a Southern President, we got more. A President from a minority Ethnic group for the first time.

Jonathan even bettered OBJ in the choice of Igbo for the most powerful positions after the war and got support of Nigerians as OBJ did when he looked for Igbo and gave them powerful positions. Fair is fair.

How could anyone squander all the Goodwill? He was led astray.

He proved that all the money in the world cannot make you rich. He neglected the most polluted part of the Country where record or highest income came from at the expense of poor fishermen that never wanted anything but their usual and normal way of life.

Looking to foreign land and experts as salvation, money that should have gone to local initiatives to steal, copy technologies like the Japanese and Chinese, or encourage home grown industrial Estates like Awolowo did; went to a few vagabonds in power building alternate country in Europe and America.

I will ignore your "great" about releguishing power because you are not up to date on Ghana, Senegal, even stronger men in Zimbabwe and Sudan were overthrown.

Left environmental pollution and degradation in the South-South worse than he met it while building paradise for Ijaw in Europe.

This is 2019 and Nigerians are still giving up their talents, valuable personal savings, borrowed money and natural resources to get out of Africa.

Those making use of what they have, where ever they are making it because they are willing to start from somewhere, contented but are too humble to brag when they finally overcome.

Folks, they are too few and nobody respects them until they succeed.

If you turn your towns and villages into shiitass place, why should I allowed you to mess up mine?

My mistake, I should have written it in one or two Nigerian languages.

Even then some of you cannot write or read your native languages. Prof. Fafunwa preached that you guys should start learning in local languages like the Russians, Chinese etc.

No O! You are stuck with foreign mentality

But you sabi American and European histories and languages well enough not to bother with yours. No wonder they stopped teaching you guys history.

Mr. Be Civilize, do you know the meaning of civilization?

I hope you have digested the short history lesson I gave you on Nigeria. Maybe you may find something to be proud of instead of competing with African American/European about the first black this or that in their own countries.

You think your looters will get foreign awards if they do anything good for Africa?

Go and find out which award Nkrumah, Lumumba, Nyerere got. Mugabe got so much awards and degrees, even meeting the Queen until he revolted. lipsrsealed

I see there are many half illiterates here trying to correct my English. Next time I will write it in broken English for you to understand.

"Does" there refers to a singular thought of mind. Putting it differently, your colo-mentality.

Awards "degrees" excite, plural goes with "excite".

Ask your English teachers. Moreover, anything I write is correct unless you can point to a particular English country.

Now to the substance. Members of the Youth Movement of those days are disciplined, hard working and in many cases with more than one professions.

Politics was not their full time job unlike this looting rascals.

Herbert Macauley was a lawyer, business man and part time activist before he and those he mentored formed those political parties.

Azikiwe was a journalist and activist before he became a politician.

Awolowo was a bookeeper/commerce graduate before he went into law and later became a politician.

Da Rocha was a banker, business man, water provider to Lagos and refused to go into politics. When they begged him to, he refused to campaign.

Pa Ojukwu refused all enticement into Politics.

The same with Pa Dantata

No need to go further.

Oh, tell me if you see any of their children in politics in case I missed one.

Only riff Raff and boma boys without means of livelihood went into politics. Today you have looters like Saraki.

Nigeria is a country most people will tell you is made worse than yesterday, not only by our leaders but by people that worship them.

Yet, this same leaders are given awards for selling out their country. You award or encourage people for accomplishments not for failure.

The leaders that concentrated on Independence were in the Youth Movement in their 20s. They were very accomplished in their fields like law, medical sciences, administration, builders masonry since 1800.

What are we celebrating in 2019 as the first black Iike African Americans?

Seriously, I think the chicanery about the novel hypothesis of Benin has been exposed many times before.

However, it was done perfunctorily almost with a wave of the hand because most people never think it would gain traction.

If they had been taken seriously as Oduademonest very early, it would have been nipped.

Pro. Ade Ajayi waved it off. It was Urhobo Prof. Ekeh that took it head-on in one of the lecture series right there in Benin.

It will not be their last attempt. There is more to be gained by sitting on the shoulder of a giant.

Many of you guys from all sides are crazy.

There are estates developed for a few by a few. Most of the people that can afford them are elites, drug dealers, 419s and Diasporians.

Until you guys realize that development is providing decent housing, schools, hospitals supported by jobs and industrial estates for the common people to patronize small businesses, you will be comparing agbalumo and mango forever.

When most people are comfortable, come back and brag about villages and towns.

Actually, our beautiful cities are in the past not present. Excursions by secondary school students in those days to Port Harcourt, Enugun, Benin, Ondo, Ibadan, Kaduna, Jos and looking at villages in between. You would see people in villages and children before going to school cleaning their surroundings.

Happy people! Today you guys are comparing cement blocks. The last place I saw old Nigeria was in the West Indian islands.

Believe it or not, they still keep most of their British cement blocks in shape, well maintained. When you build on what you have, you have modern town and villages.

You people are flooded with money but remain the poorest on Earth.

I can understand people giving the blame to Buhari since he is the head and President.

One thing that is new is this suicide rate among youth. It is too much. If you are so depressed that you want to take your life, what about your parents that invested so much in you, that you may be their future breadwinner?

Nigeria, no, the whole of Africa has been getting poorer while politicians are getting richer, indifferent and actually callous to their own people, cities and villages.

In those days, no politician dare steal in his hometown. Now governors divert all the money meant for their states without any repercussion. There is only one person to blame - Buhari!

What about those stealing directly from your mouth?

Why kill yourself and waste precious life when you can organize a crowd to invade local chairmen, councils, state and federal house to demand accountability. The worst that will happen is getting shot, better than risking your lives through the sea and desert or killing yourselves. It is a waste of talent.

Everybody blames Buhari while politicians are still receiving astronomical benefits that could start projects in town and villages instead of overpopulating the cities, towns and villages.

Why waste your life because you see billionaires spraying money on little girls, the same money that could pay a living wage to their employees or start local projects. Until you take desperate action instead of killing yourselves, your village, town, cities or country will not change.

Life and talent that can be useful are terrible substance to waste.

The worst part is poor people are lynched for stealing food while politicians go free.

I have been enjoying this discussion and that it finally came to politeness because of our common interest.

There was an article about Oduduwa Before Christ or Yoruba Dynasties.

If Ifa only mention three Ife, and present Ife was established circa 350BC; can anyone give some approximate or estimated time Between Obatala and Oduduwa from Oke Ora to the present Ife.

Thanks.

OgboAto:
It was a hypothesis because excavations from Ife says that the present Ile-Ife has been occupied for at least 350BC.

As for Ifa, I'm an initiate of several awo including Ifa & I can authoritatively say that Ifa only mentions three Ife not seven & these Ife are: Ife Oodaye, where Oduduwa robbed the drunk Obatala & took up his role with 5 toes chicken & sand from snail shell; the Ife Ooyelagbo, the deluge period where everyone lived on Oke Ora under Oranfe's rule; & lastly, Ile-Ife under Obatala who was usurped by Oduduwa/Obameri group.

In conclusion, Baba Obayemi's argumrnt has been dismantled by new evidences both material & non-material. Likewise the pro-Bini scholars. And in essence, Ikedu could not have been hosted in Okun/Yagba axis because: 1. The Ikedu data is acclaimed to have focused on Ile-Ife; 2. Excerpts from Ikedu language shows it is closely related to Itsekiri/Ilaje not Okun/Yagba & 3. Obayemi's attempt at transposing Ile-Ife to Ife Ijummu has been dismantled.

Cheers.

Which country, including China, has taken all the looters at one go and dispossessed them or throw them in jail?

Anyone using that as excuse, waiting until all others like Tinubu and co. are prosecuted is an hypocritical saboteur.

Let crooks prosecute crooks anytime in or out of power. People cried against Ribadu as well.

When as it become a crime to seize properties of known crooks?

Guns and weapons are not planted on them?

You ever see how unarmed demonstrators we're battled like war criminals with full military gears in Ferguson?

they want "rule of law and democracy" America taught them which minorities in Europe or America hardly have access to.

I am one of those that criticize our Country, our people and of course our politicians. And rightly so.

Recently, somethings have changed since that sonnabaseere called African countries shiity places.

If anyone should be upset, it should be Africans and Nigerians. These (most) are people who do not know where Africa is on the map or wish to, not to mention Nigeria or Abuja city.

They live in filthy ghettos and rural areas without septic or running water in USA! And they only cry when Obama gave them Obamacare. Many of them have never seen a doctor or hospital. Sometimes they see visiting nurses or doctors. Nigerian and Africans do not know that. They only know about New York City not rural New York.

Yes, we lack enabling environment but we succeed in worse hostile environment in Europe and America where we are disrespected regardless of our achievement or class in their societies.

We have people living good, making good salary jumping to live there, only to regret their life when calamity strikes.

Daily school shootings, daily police shootings not to mention gang wars and helpless discrimination.

Some even prefer Arab countries with "poo management" and slavery. Then start crying home for rescue after paying agents enough money to start a business in Nigeria!

Na who send you?

What I get tired of is why this insults, fight, Yoruba didn't do this or did that always take place on or over YORUBA LAND.

Let us move the insults to the East or North. Americans say love it or leave it.

Yoruba has no Territorial ambition. It is others that cannot stop going to the WEST for prospects, alms and even medical treatments or exile from thugs in their villages.

Then they complain that they are not tolerated or accommodated. Point out they were to a fault in the past, they say they are sick and tired of hearing that.

Who started what grudge? The days of American Indians rescuing Columbus in the sea are gone.

Blame your villages that refused to create opportunities and turned you into raving stray dogs ravaging other cities and countries.

First in Africa in the WEST came with no help from any region. The moment the West ventured to turn the whole of Nigeria into West, Awolowo never recovered out of others spite.
