Once again, say what u know. I was born and brought up in Warri. Yes, not as developed as the western world but definitely not as bad you are trying to paint it. Rest with your water depth story. Visit other states then u Will appreciate Warri and delta state as a whole

It's best you tell the truth the way it is. I was born and raised here too. Warri is not as developed as it ought to be considering the inflow. This is the basic fact. Let's not shy away from.it. we are giving this politicians the belief that we are satisfied and ok with their performance. I appreciate the water issue. The borehole I sank cost me 170k which is far cheaper compared to Benin or east. Let's be factual

From Pti road, down to airport road to edjeba road just to mention a few places, that state is blessed. A city that has clean water, good roads, viable business environment and where drilling of borehole cost as low as 45k. Abeg never repeat that “Warri is dilapidated” statement again o.

Are you based in warri at all? Warri developed? Maybe you have not travelled to better climes and location. Warri is underdeveloped. Warri, Effurun, okpe are all underdeveloped considering the inflow from FG and IGR. You never really see developed lands or you just dey support paymasters. So you dug borehole for 45k is development? The water table in parts of warri is high. When my septic tank was being dug, water came out and we couldn't dig it to the recommended depth. I once dug a hole for cloth line with a cutlass and water came out! Sapeleboy is correct. The amount of money coming into delta state is not commensurate to the progress being seen. Please I will be visiting calabar next week with a couple of persons. We will need accommodation for our stay there. Hotel prices should range from 12k to 15k or 20k at most. This is to enable individuals to make their choice according to their pocket. We. Must not all sleep in one hotel.
Pls if you can recommend a modest hotel that is good, I would appreciate it.

True, that's why I don't recommend Kia for people unless you are ready to spend money rather I tell them Honda or Toyota, not a fan of Benz, BMW all the way.

For Kia if you can afford to take them to their service center then no problem. I had 2 Kia Kia Optima Presidential and a Kia Rio Auto, the day I used a normal Nigeria mechanic was the day it started having problems. That's why u advise people if they want to buy Kia either get a top mechanic or use their service centre for the spare parts I never bought secondhands straight from the company.

While I understand you position, we are looking at things from the present economic perspective. I'm a Benz/ German auto guy, but one advantage with using a Toyota brand is when your car develops a fault in a rural community. That's when you will appreciate the simplicity of Japanese models. In such environment, you will not have a specialist auto technician or a service centre. You will be staring face to face with our ubiquitous kazeem( local mechanics).
Any care that requires a specialist or dedicated service centre in present day Nigeria is not recommended for the middle class hustler. Simplicity is key. Thats where the civic comes in. Both the Peugeot and Rio he mentioned are not the forte of every mechanic.

Peugeot? You would need a manual transmission. Electrical issues might be an issue.

Kia? I wouldn't touch that with a long pole. Years back, our company used them as fleet cars. They gave us a lot of issues ( maybe the drivers were making up stories too, who knows).

Ford? Don't really know much about them but I don't know if they are reliable as the Asian brands of vehicles.
