Welcome on board. It does make any sense whatsoever for the gap theory to explain the age of the earth. That is heresy. The bible doesn't say there was ANY pre-Adamic age neither was there ANY gap between Genesis 1:1-2. This is reason for this thread.....let's prove it.

Dude, you need to really sit down and understand how God speaks in the bible and how to interpret the word of God. So when God said two nations are in her womb, does that mean two nations "per say" or two individuals that will grow to become two nations AFTER THEIR BIRTH?. See, you need to stop this kind of interpretation you give to scriptures please, it's not funny at all.

Indeed you say the truth here. I registered to CUFI also and ALL I RECEIVE IN THE EMAIL IS ASKING ME TO DONATE MONEY TO ISRAEL. This is outright contradiction to the scripture. That was the reason I mentioned it on your other thread where these preachers ask Christians donate money to give to Israel where as I am the Israel of God, not a geographical location. If God is dealing with only the national Israel, then the body of Christ - the Church was established by Christ in vain.

Not to "know" the word to use is different from not to "find" the word to use. When you go back to John's epistle, he later used words that reflected the same revelation as that of John 1:1,

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life. 1 John 1:1

To "come" FROM somewhere means you reside in that place right? John is still trying to find words to communicate the heart of the Spirit. But when you use words such as "eternity past", "dateless past", "when nothing was, God is" etc, then we understand better. Are you flowing in this thought?

Now, when we take this Gen. 1:1 .....How do we understand it? Do we understand it as that God created the heavens and the earth or do we understand it as a perfect created heaven and earth that was created and was void and formless due to lucifer judgment or what?

Let us examine line by line still.....But I need you to respond along side with me. How do you take Gen. 1:1 as a whole?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

That of Genesis talks about time, space and matter - In the beginning (time); the heavens (space) and matter (earth). That of John 1:1 refers to dateless past or eternity for it speaks of Jesus in his pre-existence WITH GOD. John did not find a word to use, hence he said in the beginning.

Now, put both together and you will realize John 1:1 antedates Gen. 1:1 because when Gen. 1:1 first mentioned God, it will therefore mean God existed before He could create and John 1:1 told us the Word was WITH GOD and this Word is God. This is why the word God which is "Elohim" in Hebrew is plural but not as Gods because the verb construction is singular. So Gen. 1:1 is simply referring to "TIME" when the heavens and the earth was created.

Do you agree with this explanation before I proceed ?

Okay. First, When the bible says "In the beginning" of Gen. 1:1 and "In the beginning" of John 1:1, What does the beginning of Gen.1:1 means? Is it the same with that of John 1:1? If not, what is/are the difference? Let's take it one after the other line-by-line.

Yes. I have a study material called "Dictionary of Bible Imagery". It decodes every bible imagery or picture and gives you the real meaning to what God is saying in context of a scripture. I haven't used it too well anyway but I want to believe it will be helpful. It will please the Lord for us to decode the coded.
