I woke up this morning to browse the forum as usual but alas, the first news that hit me and also on the front page is the sad news on evils, perversion, deception, corruption and falsehood going on in the church and body of Christ in the specific case of "MFM fires 50 Pastors for stealing Church money", and the thread here and many other recent threads alike. It is a sad thing this kind of things are happening among men that handles the pulpit and are called by the name of God.

My heart became so heavy and weary that prompted my response with the following videos to wake up the remnants and other true worshipers of God in the body of Christ. Believe it or not, the next thing we will read or start to see is that, "some" or all of these 50 pastors will immediately hear the call of God to start their church and what do we expect from these same men? I had always have issue with the falsehood of churches creating branches and asking ALL the branches remit all financial income to a mother church or headquarter - we do not have such practice in the word of God.

I hereby call on true believers and the Christians with THE WORDS OF THE VIDEOS, NOT THE MESSENGER - A MUST WATCH BY ALL CHRISTIANS AND REMNANTS, so we can all put our house in order for judgment shall begin in the house of God.

God is the only boss who will FIRE you and let you keep working.

Those who are deluded to pray such prayers and their leader(s) are all deluded. They don't even know their real enemy hence, they fight imaginary battle that God didn't sanction. We do not have such example within the NT Church practices.

If that's the case I believe all you need to do is to insert the DVD into your PC drive and then follow the instructions or run Setup.exe from the DVD. 'Am aware that some modules requires some royalty fee but I don't know yet whether it comes with an internet access bundle. When I access mine I will let you know.

Yes, that's what am talking about - The DVD that allows Internet access. Unfortunately, mine was sealed in the packaging but it doesn't come with any DVD or anything else. I am quite aware "some" churches say nothing wrong with alcohol and tobacco. Let no man deceive you. If you can have much respect and regards for a building in the sense that you cannot be smoking or drinking alcohol and bring both into the church building, the worship place or centre. What makes you think you should do it to your body which is the biblical temple of God?

This is a sensitive issue just like tithe and many other issues in the body of Christ. However, what I know is that, many men of God have come to idolize the natural or physical Israel. I have nothing absolutely against the natural Israel because the saved ones are part of the true Israel, the church. What I don't see from the scripture is men of God collecting money from Christians all over the T.V for natural Israel. Sure the unsaved in natural Israel needs the gospel but I am yet to see any scripture that says offerings should be collected from spiritual Israel, the church and give to the natural or physical Israel. The scriptural verse used by these men of God esp. here in the USA is, where God told Abraham I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you. ~Please correct me if am wrong~

frosbel: Brothers Goshen and Annoy and all sisters and other brothers, I and some of us have been guilty of engaging atheists and agnostics in ways which God has not sanctioned, I really think that as a sister mentioned ( Ishislove) , these prolonged arguments with the enemies of Christ is a waste of our time and spiritual effort.

We should of course keep replying to and helping the ignorant understand the truth, but we should in my opinion not continue to engage those who hate the gospel of Christ and malign it.

Is Nairaland forum created to stop tithe in churches? The simple answer is it wasn't exclusively created to stop tithe in churches but it became part/one of the tools used to teach the truth about the subject of tithing. Nairaland didn't have tithe in mind per-say when created but tithe became part of what is taught here in truth. If tithe is stopped in the churches, then it simply means people are coming to the knowledge of the truth which is only able to set people FREE.

You have spoken well my brother. I have said on this board many times and will say it again. Until early 2011, I was still paying tithe. After studying more on this subject of tithing, I was amazed and shocked we have a whole movement following this falsehood in the name of God.

My brother, it isn't about MY OWN CONVICTION ABOUT TITHE, it is about WHAT THE WORD SAYS TO CHRISTIANS - As we are to PROVE ALL THINGS and HOLD UNTO THAT WHICH IS GOOD, meaning there are somethings that "might NOT be good". I perceive, with your response you don't want to be open minded to other believers and many times on this board you "dodge" sound doctrine. What then is the mind when it cannot be open to the scriptures and sound doctrine or what is the mind when it cannot be open to the truth? Again, the question I asked you got nothing to do with tithe yet but it will help us in a strong foundation to the Christian faith and truth.

My dear brother. The issue of tithe or no tithe is a serious issue in the body of Christ. The above thread you mentioned started in May 23, 2005 and lasted till Sept. 23, 2010/March 02, 2012. This is to tell you how serious this topic of tithing is. Now, consider this, from Genesis to Revelation, we have enough words to prove the truth if tithing is right for NT Christians or not. You know my stand though on this subject but I will like you to do me a favour by answering this question:

Very sure his son, Henry Morris (Jr.) is doing great in the stead of his father. I never knew his father though. However, I have come to like the apologetic approach of the Morris that lives now. I pray God increase the Grace of God on his life also.
