Covenant is a serious matter. When covenant is made, certains things are involved, for example, blood,altar,incantations,sacrifice, and so on. Family covenant is even worse, this is because, there are powers that have been commissioned to see to it that, you are not free from such evil covenant. However, many thanks to Jesus for his precious blood. You can only have access or apropriate the power in the blood by surrendering your life to christ, then do quality repentance on behalf of your family. The next thing is to get involve in deliverance prayer to break such covenant, it takes time, and also depend on the kind of covenant that was made because i do not see how an evil covenant that was done on your behalf in your family over 30 years ago can be broken within one hour or one day. You have to accept this fact.
Looking for a man of God that will break it for you may be possible, if God direct you to him, i would recommend that you get a copy of this popular prayer book written by Dr.D.K. Olukoya called PRAYER RAIN. This book is loaded with information on how you can break this family covenants yourself,without the help of any man of God. God bless you. God2man.

I have often found it interesting how ministers can so easily deceive the flock using such scriptures as 1 Kings 17 during offering time. They encourage you to sow up to your last "seed" and then tell you to "speak to your seed" or "confess" over it and send you home saying the Lord will bless you. Yet this is not what Elijah did. God worked a miracle through Elijah there and then to ensure that neither the woman, her son or Elijah lacked within that period of time. How do modern day ministers or prophets compare to what the prophet Elijah did? Yet church people are so gullible to swallow everything their ministers push down their throats without applying any rational thought. It is the responsibility of pastors to feed the flock but instead many of them today feed of the flock such that they get so fat that they need private jets to carry them around.

The church needs to exercise discernment to identify true ministers from false ministers. And once we have identified the false ones we are to avoid them (Rom 16:17).

I think it is high time people began to read out of what is taught in their local assembly. At this juncture I would like to recomend a book written by a Nigerian pastor living in Dublin. The title is 'the beautiful bride' written by muyiwa oguntoyinbo. The book shed a lot of light on so many things churches have made us think hold true but in the end are pack of lies. If you are in lagos you can get it at laterna ventures in VI otherwise you can order from amazon.com. I bot mine from amazon and reading the book has really helped my life. This is one book your pastors would not want you to read.

I've got the message already, but I'll strongly advice you repent and start paying because the bible that I read call you THIEF for not paying your tithe, you have robbed God, I dont need to tell you that you arent better than the robbers carrying weapons. Stop using common sense when it comes to the word of God, let the spirit of God direct you thru the word. Or have you not come across the verse of the bible about tithe?

call it free will, or tithe or seed or anything, the product is money. And this money is what is been used to maintain the church. If you were asked to attend a church without no chair, no roof, no light, would you attend?
And again I do not regard it a church, a pastor, prophet, pope or Bishop who does not ask for tithes i.e 1/10 of our income from his members. Call me anything but IT IS CLEARLY STATED IN MY BIBLE except such a congregation has its own version of the "bible".

How do you know the money was from the tithe in this instance? Perhaps it was from simply freewill giving of however much the congregation decided in their own hearts to give? Please do not assume that every church collect tithes.
