My brother, It's all about biblical truth and not your own interpretation of the bible. The fact that certain things are recorded doesn't make them a practice for us in this christian age that we live in today. If your words highlighted are true, then celestial church people will be right by taking people to bath in the river or beach and people selling snake or breakthrough oil and mantle will also be right. So my brother, its about sound biblical teachings/doctrines.

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear". 2 tim. 4:3 (NIV)

I have followed both of you closely and carefully on this forum. Personally, I don't just read people's response but I also follow their maturity. Many people will attack and attempt to derail a good thread without any meaningful contribution,you say am wrong but you cannot suggest a better solution. Also,it is amazing the way so called Christians will throw insult and abusive words at each other and I begin to wonder the kind of Christians some churches are producing, to the point that they curse and threatens with evil words.

I think am going too far. Anyway, God bless you God2man and joagbaje. We may disagree on some issues but our maturity and presentations matter a lot. This is what this forum is all about, to learn more.

God bless you brother. It saddens my heart that Christians today will rather take their pastors' words and preach it without verifying from the bible. Imagine Paul teaching and the Church still verify what he preaches.

Always said it and will say it again, We have accepted false prophets because we have not accepted the true Prophet. We follow false teachers and their false teachings because we are not the followers of the TRUE Teacher and His TRUE teachings. We don't know how to test ALL spirits that is why we follow every winds of doctrines. We follow fasle christ because you dont know the real and the Living Christ.

Thanks for the post. I have wasted too much time on the subject of tithe and hence, i stayed out of this conversation, just reading comments here but yours are biblical truth. I cant just understand people today believing lies from men of God who wants money to finance their denominations. There is a place for money in ministry and that is free will and cheerful giving. very simple.
