DrummaBoy well said. I believe its time for us as Christians to become scholars of the bible. Its time to really read and begin to understand the wonderfulness of what God has in store for us. The reason i mention reading is because you only have to study church history to understand that every new dispensation of Christianity was always at odds with established order and God still moved. Martin Luther started the seeds of what would become the Protestant sect. Please read God's Generals, those men and women of God were moved by God to begin a revival of the faith even though they had Baptists, Catholics, etc at the time. God used them. We need to get into the word and let God lead us.
The OP put in a carefully worded discussion about the Bible and a statement been taken out of context. We should as brothers openly discuss this. The Bible is meant to be discussed with a view to getting a better revelation of God's plans for us. The idea that a topic is sacred and by discussing it we blaspheme is in my opinion WITCHCRAFT.

Indeed, the Holy Spirit is building the Church, the church is stronger than ever , more importantly though , the gates of hell will never prevail.


Let's consider what has happened to the physical church in recent times.

1. Savage wolves have infiltrated the church , preying on the sheep and bring the name of Christ into disrepute

"For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock." - Acts 20:29


2. Secondly God's people love it so.

Jeremiah declared, "An appalling and horrible thing bringing desolation and destruction has come to pass in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests exercise rule at their own hands and by means of the prophets. AND MY PEOPLE LOVE TO HAVE IT SO! But what will you do when the end comes?" (Jer. 5:30-31)

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." - 2 Timothy 4:3


So the problem is mutual, without adequate demand , the supply of these 'crooks' will run out, unfortunately, there is an abundance of demand for false doctrine and false teachers , hence the business booms and blooms, the name of Christ is dragged into the mud, and the whole world laughs them to scorn.

But judgement is coming, a great and terrible judgement , that will shake at the heart of this perverted gospel, God is and will increasinlgy refine his church ( without physical structures ) , the wheat is being sifted from the chaff.

Make no mistake, the bride is still around, pure, spotless and holy with total love for Christ and his word.

Let us not be swayed by these distractions.
