asha 80:what has this got to do with this topic pls? |
A Social Security Number (SSN) is a 9 digit indentification number (in the case U.S.) allocated to U.S. citizens, permanent residents and non-immigrants who qualify on the basis of lawful status and legal employment. A Social Security number is used by employers and employees for the purpose of reporting on individual employee's earnings for tax purposes. Social Security numbers are often used to check your credit history for a variety of other purposes unrelated to its official purpose such as opening bank accounts, leasing an apartment or obtaining cell phone services. While having a Social Security number is convenient for these reasons it has become harder to obtain one due to restrictions on its issuance. A Social Security number is necessary only for reporting employment and tax information. |
Why is it that you are angry about SSN and what wrong in it for Lagosians to have it in the good term of Fashola. |
In appreciation to the great job we hear the Lagos state governor doing, we nigerians in diasporal have come to believe in th leadership of this great politician. We hear news of how good roads are being contructed, the existings ones being properly maintained and beautified, job creations and proper clean up of Lagos state as a whole, We believe in his administration that, he can really do alot before the completion of his term. In addition, i will like the governor to setup social security administration for lagosian so that lagosians can also start to get the benefits of social securities as it is obtainable in developed countries. Social security carries alot of benefits in the long run for citizens of a state and the government of such state. Lets dialogue. |
lagos is currently working on a light rail/surface rail project. as time goes on i see it all coming together to form something more effective. as i would expect that the rail system would be expanded sooner than expected.
This will be the best thing to the people of lagos state cos i see a CHANGE to the people of lagos with Fashola administration. Please, help me pass this message to the state governor that I commend his effort. |
I am not saying its a waste, its a good project for the Lagosians but u see what am saying, for you as an individual to procure the taxi and other things attached to it is becoming difficult now. Very soon u will start seeing the rich pple getting this cabs and start subletting it to other and complicating the project making life unbearable for the poor. |
i understand your point, but even in New york. its not everywhere trains or public transport gets u to.
Its true that its not everywhere that train gets to but the cabs are supplimentary to the main public transport system, the train. Am not saying compulsorily the govt should bring in trains. All am saying is other measures of public transport should be made available cos my believe is that this new project is good but might not be affordable by the poor who need the public transportation the most but will rather benefit the rich. AjaraEwuro:You have not made any sense in your contributions either, make you point clear to the public. |
My people, i know there will come a day that we will all realise that, developed countries initiate project based on the needs of the people. Nigeria of today does not need this kind of project especially Lagos. This kind of project will neva be affordable for the average man of lagos state. Where people cannot afford in some cases to pay for public transportation we are initiating personalized project such as this, it wont help the poor but only the rich, imagine the cost of boarding a cab compared to taking a public transport. Same is applicable here in New york where i reside, its cheaper to commute on train than to commute on cab. What am saying in a naught shell is, the govt would have taken time to develop the public transport system rather than this kind of project. The lagos state had tried this kind of project many times in partnership with private company and it has not improved the situations of the poor people. Lets ruminate again please. |
AjaraEwuro:That good then, but hope it will be well managed and affordable to the nigerians who will want to be drivers just to make a living? Moreso, i learnt the state govt is doing well in the road infrastuture so this will enable this cars have a long lasting lifespan, hope u undertand me that bad roads increases the wear n tears of such projects. |
This is a good innitiative by the State governor but i hope this kind of project will not be like that former state governors, in terms of proper management and that hope it will not only benefit the families of people in government sit, Fashola will succeed more in the proper management and maintenance of such proper rather than the innitiative. Keep the post |
kugaba:I believe its sex that women wants aside money from a man, So many instances where some men give money to their woman without giving hard f**king, and the woman go give the money given to her by her man to another man where she get the hard and satisfying f**k, men must also have good strenght to be able to satisfy women, money and good f**c makes a lasting relationship, other virtues are being developed in the relationship. |

The designs are so lovely and nice to behold, i guess they will sell in nigeria. Dont be discouraged by what people say, pls go ahead with your objectives. There is enough market for good and nice concept of ideas such as you have. |
i think i like what the govt of lagos state is doing as regards the clean ups. This is what lagos really need even though the govt might need to step on toes to achieve good result. This is not the end of the show, more things ahead. |
jeron1:its true that we need to get things done on our own irrespective of middle man but sometimes, middlemen are important. If the guy no sabi how to go about it and really needs the help of a middle man, then let him be and stop calling him mumu, pls |

America is breaking beyond barrier and racism, thats what Obama stands for and thats why he gonna win the united states presidential race. |
Tell our government to do what the countries abroad are doing that makes nigerians to stay abroad rather than coming to live in nigeria where the government do not have interest of their citizens at heart. Personally, i will return to nigeria when our government will do the following: 1. Overcome power (electricity) problem and fight it to stand still, provide 24hrs power supply for years. 2. Provide adequate security for citizens 3. provide jobs that will make even the non-graduates live well and be comfortable. 4. Decide hope for the old citizens of our nation. 5. Give hope to the future of our nation. This and lots more happens in united states where i happen to reside and live fine. God bless nigeria, God bless America. |
