Ishilove:You better come clean..... ![]() |
@ dmandy, I'm sorry to say this but it's a bitter truth. I think you are still tied to religion and need to find Christ. In religion is confusion and mixture but in Christ, is rest and liberty! I'm sorry if this truth hurt you anyway. Please forgive me. However, I prayed for you like the Apostle of Grace did, New American Standard Bible I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, |
Good debate going on here. As for me, I will rather stay with what the word of God says rather than use science to justify God's word. Whether the science say the earth is 6000 or millions or billions of years, what does the word says and how do we interpret scriptures that will not contradict another. |
In addition to the OP, Grasscutter, a micro livestock and bushmeat delicacy that used to be available in the meal of our forefathers. A good source for animal protein with low fat content. Oya\Ewuju as it called in yoruba language, Nchi in igbo language and jawji in hausa language is fast becoming scares to our generation and meals of Nigerians and Africans at large. Reasons: Aggressive hunting, bush burning, wild life hunting etc. Solution: WILD LIFE FARMING for preservation and eventually, for profit\money making. Today, we have taken wild life farming especially Grasscutter farming beyond human expectation in a practical measure. Since year 2000, we have commenced a standard worth emulating and applied today's technology in rearing of Grasscutter. How do I start-up a small scale Grasscutter Farm for future profit? 1. TRAINING Appropriate training is required to start-up either a small/medium/large scale Grasscutter farm. Nobody succeeds at what he\she knows nothing about. Hence, it is required of an intending breeder(s) to acquire skills from a practical, experienced and successful farmer. 2. SUPPLIES OF BREEDING STOCK: For the purpose of breeding, a group/family of 4 females and 1 male is usually sold for breeding\production purpose. After being trained, an intending breeder is expected to set-up the housing system (production stable) for the animals. Pavemgo Grasscutter farms can supply you as much as possible breeding stock you might desire to start-up your farm. Also, we supply Grasscutters for consumption for various needs e.g festive periods, hotliers, interested individuals etc. How viable is Grasscutter farming? Like lexy91 said earlier, it takes about 12 to 18 months to break-even of on Grasscutter farming. At this time, you can also profit depending on what you choose to do with your first litters\production - that is, whether you want to sell or you want to re-invest into your farm for expansion. Where is the market for Grasscutter farming? Sales is divided into 2 categories: - Selling to other intending breeders - Selling to consumers usually during festive periods, hoteliers, interested individuals and restaurants. The truth about this in sales is, you will not always have enough to sell until you hit the mega farming standard. When people start to get to know you and your business, the rest is on you to supply the needs to the demand of the market. I hope this little piece help! |
@ lexy91, you're right on both business need time to profit. After a year in Grasscutter, one can start making profit depending on what one does with the first production that is, if one is selling or re-investing the litters into the farm for expansion on production capacity. |
hurlar2014:Sent you an email sir |
ginison:I replied you sir. |
I'm a big time Grasscutter farmer while I was home. I started a small scale Grasscutter farm as a family business back in 2000. Today, we operate one of the Grasscutter mega farm in Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria. I know snail farming is lucrative but Grasscutter farming is more profitable than snail. I'm a living witness. I'll add more to the OP's information later. |
Many Christians think if anything is written and\or found in the bible, it is a doctrine for the new testament believers. It's just a pity! |
henry255:The time has come for us, the church, the body of Christ to decide what we want to follow - the old testament or the new. We are so confused mixing both. With Christ, we, the church is complete and don't need any addition from the old system. Hebrews 7 is an indepth teaching abolishing tithe in the new testament, get into it. henry255:Off course, monetary tithe is the greatest fraud in human history! Money existed since Genesis. God never demanded tithe paid from money. If you have any scripture when agric produce are substituted for money, please share it. Money, in the new testament doesn't come from tithe & offerings because the Apostolic and early church of which Christ is the foundation never collected tithe neither did they receive offerings. So, where in scripture did you get the idea that money comes to the church from tithe & offerings? |
^ ^ ^ Great Grace to you, thou man of God. Continue the good fight of faith....until the "Nigeria" kind of Christianity is liberated from pollution. |
anukulapo:Which date I talk say the meeting will take place and which date you dey oko afo? Me wey don return to the States. ..lol. |
RobinHez:Frosbel is still alive and healthy. You can check topic and see the date of his recent thread or check his profile for most recent posts. The sad thing in Christianity is, some people rain curse on others just because they speak against their mentors or spiritual fathers. Such is the case of ken4Christ. |
John Hagee is always teaching rubbish and religious doctrine of men. So women should be screaming devil's name during sex? This man is full of some bullshiitt..... ![]() |
As I make a statement like this in the title of the thread, the first thing that comes to the mind of common and\or traditional Christian is that, we want to endorse a "continuous" sinful lifestyle. Far from such! On the contrary, we teach the message of the finished works of Christ, which is the message of the Cross and of the new covenant. I often hear many people say God God is punishing them for their sins while they go through problems in life. Some, from the pulpit also preach God still punishing believers in Christ for their sins etc. Such messages and opinions contradicts the finished works of Christ, which is part of the inheritance of believers under the new testament - God is not punishing you for your sins, you are only reaping what you sow! Now, let's see what scriptures have to say: King James Bible In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Colossians 1:14 All the sins of believers, past, present and future are all forgiven in Christ, once and for all times. This is what is meant by the finished works of Christ. It was done once and what is done once applies to the past, present and to the future. In other words, if God punished our sins on Christ, of what use is God still punishing the same sin on us the second time? As an earthly father, I can't say I forgive my son and then turn around to punish him for the same sin I told him he's forgiven of. How much more our heavenly Father! Matthew 7:11 . This is the loving nature of God, our Father! You Reap Whatever You Sow! New Living Translation Don't be misled--you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Galatians 6:7 Our actions are seeds sown into the soil of life. For instance, when a Christian commits abortion and in the process, the womb was damaged and she can't reproduce anymore. God is not the one punishing you for such sin because you're already forgiven but the seed you've sown has now germinated and you're reaping what you sow. Similarly, a young Christian girl, you sleeping around with a married man. You forget you sowing to the flesh and when you reap corruption in the flesh, another woman sleeps with your husband and you say, God is the one punishing you for your sins? No, you're only reaping what you've sown to the flesh. The same goes to a Christian who steals or commit any sin against the laws of the land, you will face the consequences of such theft. That's not God punishing you, you're reaping a reward for your mis-conduct. You will reap what you sow is a way by which God allows discipline for our mis-conduct acts and God allowing discipline is different from God punishing our sins on us - This is the Justice nature of God, our Father! New Living Translation As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn't we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever? For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God's discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening--it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong. Hebrews 12:7 - 13 Lastly, while you undergo discipline and the reaping for your mis-conduct, God is there with you to strengthen your faith, glorify himself and in the end, you ensure a right living. He said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” |

Abeg, this kind post is for host, at least for "kind gesture offerin" and the second one will be like the first, "Apostle ' s feet offering"... ...Abi una go just come chop better food and una no go shake body? ![]() |
Princewell2012:That's not what he or we're saying. Romans 7 included the 10 commandments of the law that was abolished. Does that say, we should commit adultery? Absolutely no. We're obeying the law of the Spirit, not the mosaic...if we walk IN THE SPIRIT, we shall not fulfill the last of the flesh. |
italo:Did Peter that said Acts 2:38 baptize (in water) BEFORE his sins were remitted\forgiven? |
Hi friends & brethren, There will be an opportunity for us to meet outside of this forum and discuss issues that bothers in our society and in the body of Christ. This has been in my mind for some time and I believe the opportunity has now come. When: July 4th, 2015 Where: venue will be one of the resorts\relaxation centres in my hometown, Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria. I will update the exact venue and address when I conclude the arrangement. Time: 12 noon - 6pm Registration: Anyone interested will only need to signify or register their interest here so I can know how many people are participating, for adequate preparation. Please note, invitation is open until 30th of this month, July and closes at 12pm. ***@ moderator(s), please, kindly allow this thread here because most of my friends are from this section, plus I'm mostly active here*** Thank you and God bless. |
OLAADEGBU:How body naw? Long time. Abeg no start this thing wey you no go fit finish o. We already know your stand as regards issue of Law vs Grace except you don change anyway.... . The only reason why Christians argue so much regarding keeping Law vs living under the Grace of God is we read into scriptures like Matthew 5:17 and interpret blindly after our traditions of men. Other than that, it is clear from scriptures that Christians are not given the Mosaic law in its entirety, including the 10 commandments. |
italo:Acts 2:38 did not say such, you're the one saying it to mean WATER....there's no such as water there (if that's what you meant anyway). You are baptized IN or INTO Christ is what it is. Romans 6:3 & Galatians 3:27 explains that verse. There're no stand-alone scriptures my brother. Baptism occurred in various forms in scriptures but not sprinkling. |
Hi, my dear brother....@ OP, The Spirit is One. God began to inspire me from His word recently on the same verse, Galatians 6:7-8 in a whole different dimension and it's so huge. I might do another teaching\thread on it as teaching though, hopefully before end of this week. Sure you're increasing in His Grace. |
italo:Oga, be careful how you read into scriptures.....read those passages of Acts again from different translations and follow punctuations sir. The question you should be answering by yourself is: Can scripture says we receive remission\forgiveness of sin in the blood of Christ and at the same time through (water) baptism? More like saying, can one eat through the mouth and at the same time through the ear? If the scripture is saying, we're saved by (water) baptism, then what is the purpose of finished works of Christ and has Christ come and died in vain? If the scripture is saying, we're saved by Grace through faith (in the finished works of Christ), then (water) baptism plays no role in our salvation....which one of them? |
christemmbassey:....no, the tithe is still in the ground. When it germinates, he'll be release.... . I was young and I'm growing old, I've never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread.....How you doing sir - the righteousness of God in Christ? |
argob44:What you shaking your head at me for? . If your Pastor or you only understand the finished works of Christ & the new covenant, you'll never talk tithe to Christians. There's no such thing under the new covenant for Christian practices. If you find such in the new covenant, please show us and stop shaking your head ![]() |
